The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Torfaen South Wales

Great welcome from bar staff. We visited lunchtime, 4 of us. We had tapas, garlic prawns, meatballs, sweet chilli belly pork bites, chips, garlic mushrooms, maple chicken waffle chirozo sausage, all food amazing, piping hot, tasty flavours, would definitely go again.

Really good food and coffee and great value. Our go to place in Torfaen for an all day breakfast. Have been there 6 times in last 2 months and the quality of food and service is consistently very high.

Just had a beautiful beef dinner delivered from front row foods, a nice change from the gorgeous full Ponty breakfast which is amazing also, dinner's are only available on Wednesday, but well worth the money. I will be ordering again.

Had Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Plenty of meat and vegetables which were cooked to perfection. Well done to all the staff, the Chef and to Paul for bringing new life into the pub and serving fantastic food. Highly recommend if you want a great meal in a friendly cosy environment.

This was a birthday meal for our son food was great service was excellent would recommend to anyone 5stars thank you to the lovely staff who gave our son chocolates candle in his pudding and sang for him.

Very good Sunday lunch. If anything too much but all lovely. Prawn cocktail starter lovely and chicken and beef two mains. Too much full in the end but great service. A very lovely lunch.

Love This Place, Fantastic Atmosphere and Friendly Staff. Some of the great this here are the Rock n Roll Bingo they hold every 3rd Tuesday of the month, Karaoke other Thursday, Open Mic Nights that run alternate Thursday to Karaoke, The Once A Month Pint Sized Triva Quiz night and all the other fab night they put on inbetween. I always feel comfortable and welcome here. They also serve stunning pizzas that are all freshly made.

This resturant no longer exists - and hasnt since 2019. The property was taken over by Brown Bears which is excellent

Been a customer for years but when I take my dog there and get a pupuchino there must be a cream shortage most of the staff give a full cup but there is allways one that gives less than half . It's the owner responsibility what they give there pet .. added photo showing what I had when was served today 21st Sept 2024

Just had lunch. It was OK but no toilet. A lady came in with her kid for the loo but not able to go as no toilet! I'm sure this is against the law! But the food was nice and quickly

Me and my husband sat at an empty table, we waited around 10 mins for anyone to approach us to take our order. I found the lady to be quite rude and abrupt and made us feel like an inconvenience to her. We ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 teas. If only I knew the wait to be served would be the start of the waiting around. It took about 15 minutes for our teas to arrive and about half hour for our food to arrive. I would like to say it was due to the cafe being really busy but there was only one other table seated. I could hear who I presume is the manager talking to other staff members about someone they work with, the things they were saying were quite honestly awful and things that paying customers should have to hear. Our food eventually arrived, it was mediocre at best. Overall the service was poor, the atmosphere quite honestly awful, and the food ok at best. Would not be returning or would not recommend to anyone else.
