Starbucks Coffee Company in Torfaen

Been a customer for years but when I take my dog there and get a pupuchino there must be a cream shortage most of the staff give a full cup but there is allways one that gives less than half . It's the owner responsibility what they give there pet .. added photo showing what I had when was served today 21st Sept 2024

Visited here on a rare trip to cwmbran, we wanted a hot drink so chose here Firstly they Didnt take cash , i dont like this because im never sure what the charge for . The Coffee was like water with no taste at all, All in all overpriced and poor

Refused to serve me with a puppacino! Said they don’t do them anymore. Every other Starbucks I’ve asked at does. It’s whipped cream in a paper cup ffs!

Came here on a day out Christmas shopping absolutely shocking one girl needs to take a course on customer services shouting at all who came in telling them get out we sat down and there was three chairs around the table me and my daughter sat down I put somethings on the other chair and was told we only need two chairs not three ! Ppl were walking out of Starbucks because of her attitude she had dark hair with a long ponytail she needs to be fired I will never go there again it’s ment to be a relaxing place for a coffee not to be screeched at by some little upstart who clearly is in the wrong job

Cwmbran store not applying discount apparantly against the law as not drinking inside... My opinion is if drinking outside less than 10 meters away should apply. If government is paying 50% should be applied

Whilst visiting needed the loo, to find both toilets out of order. Thought strange as were out of order last time i visited and when I asked a member of staff they said they'd been there 2 months and the loos had always been out of order. The need to pee was enough I thought I'd look anyway and the only issue appears to be no lock on the door. Complained to manager of the franchised store who said they could do nothing and to complain to head office but then would not supply any contact info - luckily I found it and it is a Starbucks franchise store run by the Magic Bean company Ltd. Swansea. Have emailed them and Starbuck to complain but don't hold out much hope. Disgusting way to treat customers leaving as simple issue for so long in such a busy store.

I never come to this Starbucks it’s usually always a Newport Starbucks trip. Don’t think I’ve ever been to a Starbucks where a member of staff made me feel so welcomed. Never really write reviews let alone a Starbucks one but just wanted to say thank you to him, the two salted caramel cookies went down a treat!

I’m a regular in this particular Starbucks it’s often overcrowded. The staff, Stacey the manager and if I forget to mention you sorry. Also Ceri, Victoria, Kelly, Alex and Anna. I’ve taken off one rating point because of the lack of lactose free milk in store. I’ve noticed other chains carry it. I’m restricted to tea or iced tea drinks until it’s sorted. Nice and comfortable, there’s no real rush here. WiFi is better than before too.

All I wanted was a caramel Frapachino. First, she complained because she just cleaned up the machinery, secondly, she was rude to my face, and thirdly, she made us move so she could clean up. RUDE!!!!!

Always feel this Starbucks is way to small for the centre and sometimes does lack the quality of some other Starbucks.. Service today was good and polite, and both our drinks were hot and tasted good. Sat in comfortable chairs and had a pleasant 20 restful minutes

Called in on. Wednesday late afternoon with my daughter. Service was quick and drinks were OK. Nice comfortable environment. Would visit again. Server polite and helpful .

Ceri the Barrista/manager called the 2 young girls working there to explain the markings on the cups several times. His attitude was awful towards them and he made it look as though they were causing problems and causing the delays but it was him. I ordered a medium latte what is hard about that?!?!?!?!? The guy is an idiot will not be returning

Went in for a some gift cards and a bag of coffee. First thing I noticed was a food hygiene rating of 3 of 5 which is unusual for such a big chain. Gift card stock was empty and had to ask if they even sold them and they went and found some under a cabinet which also they had to do every single individual transaction for every gift card. By the time I had finished I went to walk out and saw at least 15 people behind me waiting behind me waiting to be served. I needed the envelopes but felt pressured just to leave. There were only 4 people working and one was training. Its obvious its a higher management issue. I really felt bad for the employees.

Great location in the middle of town. Went in just before closing. Had a Salted Caramel Hot chocolate from Starbucks festive collection. Very disappointing and one of the most average hot chocolates I have had this year. Really did not taste like salted caramel. Not a great fan of Starbucks and this reaffirmed why I normally go elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Manager was asked a simple query and we was ment with a very unapproachable attitude and the way he spoke to me unbelievable I was absolutely gob smacked never delt with the query spoken to customers complaints but nothing has been delt with socking customer service then the manager was on the till at a later date and I said all my 12 year old daughter said let him serve you and I said to him all wanted was an apology off you for the way you spoke to me and he laughed in my face in and said I’m not apologise to you so I asked for someone else to serve me this this is not acceptable for a manager

Appalled by how i was served by Anna she obviously could not understand thr running of a shop in a busy environment. I was ordering 2 coffees 1 cold iced latte for a friend and one hot caramel coffee. Her attitude was disgusting so i apologise for being tired and on a night shift. after I explained as she rushed me! Then she refered to my order as "spinning her out can i repaet it all again " i am discusted at her empathy and customer service skills on a day where it was needed most

Starbucks need a bigger unit as this is to small for the area..Always seems messy as well, it's just down to lack of space, the staff as always do a good job in service and the quality of our beverages was ok..

I generally prefer to buy a Starbucks and this shop is pretty normal. Some of the customer areas were a little dirty and took a long time to clear.

I do not very often visit this Starbucks, and this visit reinforced why not. Loud music (so much so it drowned out the questions from the barista). Grubby seating area, disorderly service and mediocre coffee. A refurbishment is long overdue. There are better coffee shops elsewhere in Cwmbran.

The workers here are friendly and extremely helpful. The customer service is excellent any issues and they sort it straight away for you.

Worst coffee in Wales. Black Americano was a brown coloured tasteless cup of water. Either lack of training or non functioning machine.

My usual default is a latte and a Cinnamon Swirl. Can't resist them. Coffee and cake were up to standard, but the tables were messy. Maybe there had been a rush, but the tables need clearing away. No excuse for it though.

All good here with all of the usual starbucks offerings. Ideal place to go for a chat and use the free Wifi while having a cappuccino and a panini.

Cwmbran starbucks is right on the town square with plenty of seating outside with parasoles on some of the tables. This is a place where you can people watch. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a disabled entry system

Always happy friendly staff,good service and lovely coffee! The best thing ever is the fruit toast-delicious!

No suelo ir a Starbucks para mi café pero porque la costa en Cwmbran constantemente concurrida y ruidosa decidí dar un Starbucks a una prueba. El café es muy agradable, el personal era amable y servicial pero ... la mitad del café tenía un fuerte...

As a regular customers I'm disappointed over they're lack of staff retention, seems different upon each visit. Coffee consistency is very poor and if your lucky the toilets will be in working order. I've started using Costa instead.

Warm and friendly staff, greet you at this Starbucks. A large selection of coffee, snacks and goodies on offer.

Went here today as unfortunately the coffee machine in Costa had broken down. I don't get the idea of asking your name.... I was on my own in the queue, why ask for my name? Had a medium latte, more expensive than Costa and was nothing compared, it left a horrible tang after. Woman with a foreign accent served me, had to ask her several times what she was saying. Was very quiet as was about 5pm, in store the floor around the tables was dirty, so thought we try outside, wow this was disgusting! Every table was filthy, sticky and full of mugs, cups, cardboard cups even Mcdonald's rubbish! Where are the spoons to stir your drinks, I hate the wooden sticks, cheap and nasty! All in all wouldn't go back at all, would rather go home for a coffee.

Use this place a lot for coffee and have noticed the staff sometimes have problems sorting their priorities, unable to choose between serving customers or chatting with their friends. Staff not very quick to clean tables and have often had to clear our own table before sitting down. We always try to sit outside as the seats inside look quite grubby. But despite these problems, the coffee (when it arrives) is always hot, strong and delicious.

Love this particular Starbucks because the staff are all so great, always friendly and smiling and they offer advice about and promote their products without coming across as pushy or bored. Used to go to Costa (which I also love) but not since I visited Starbucks. Place is cleaner, tidier and much more friendly.Hope the staff are recognised for their excellent customer service skills.

Comfy seats and a perfect caramel flavoured latte and baby cino meant a relaxing morning treat, the baristas were friendly to both me and the little one, the double chocolate cookies are a must deliciously chewy. Indoor and Outdoor seating make this a perfect cafe to sit, relax and watch the world go by

Had to write a review because of the amazing staff working at this Starbucks! The young lady who served me was extremely busy and under a lot of pressure but she was smiling and polite and not phased. I do hope the staff are looked after because as a customer I was made to feel like I was the only customer who mattered when serving. Great work just give this store more staff!

Popped in here as we usually go to Costa Coffee but it was packed and the queue was at the door. Managed to squeeze on the end of the settee/chair by the window as every seat was taken. It was quite limited in space and I didn't feel as relaxed here as in other Starbucks.The lattes' as usual were delicious and the service was fast and efficient. I would go back if there were more seats available but I wouldn't take my children as it felt a tad claustrophobic.

Nice place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a great coffee. A must place to visit. Toilets just a little small.

Starbucks Cwmbran, excellent staff.Great coffee, the staff are always friendly.They know my order, greet me by name and are already making my coffee by the time I reach the counter.

Staff here at cwmbran Starbucks are brilliant! Always friendly, always smiling, the coffee here is fab! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is always great, if there's anything wrong or it's not prepared to their standards they'll make you another. Customer satisfaction seems to be high on their list of priorities which is great. I aways leave there happy.

Always a good, relaxing atmosphere in Starbucks with a great choice of hot and cold drinks. It's a bot pricey but worth it as the quality is excellent. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.
