Lizzy's Cafe in Torfaen

I've been a patron of Lizzy's since they first opened. Breakfast has always been my go-to meal it always delivers taste and value. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Lizzys cafe is fab, the food is perfect everytime and big portions which is what you want, I can't highly recommend this place if your looking for a lovely meal at a brilliant price. The only thing I would say is they need a bigger premises to which they would definitely pack out because the food is brilliant

A lovely café with incredible food that’s perfect if you want a great breakfast. I used to frequent here with my grandfather very often but haven’t in some time. I went here after this long break and it’s just as terrific as it was the last time I was here. One of Cwmbran’s hidden gems for food!

Excellent value for money, cooked to order, great atmosphere

Hit and miss. Had burnt mushrooms on last visit, prior to that had a lovely breakfast roll. Would pay a few quid more for decent sausages. Quick service and nice ladies but won't be back for a while. Edit... your response is slightly defensive. I said I would pay more for a better sausage!!! There we go.

Went for the 1st time today and couldn't believe how cheap it was and the food was amazing, the fried bread (diet bread she called it lol) was lovely as most places its too greasy. But it was just right, I'll be bringing hubby n kids next time!

Nice late breakfast with everything you might expect on a British breakfast with good thick bacon, not too salty. Decent mug of tea too. All reasonably priced with indoor and covered outdoor seating, and served with a smile. Great unpretentious cafe.

Me and my partner whent to this cafe the other day for breakfast and was welcomed in straight away by the lovely owner then we ordered our breakfast and my partner is very fussy but she said it was the best breakfast she ever had and was a perfect size and very tasty would definitely be going there again

Amazing food, great staff and good prices

I ordered the mega breakfast £10 asked for no tomato or mushroom, it came completely covered I tomato and mushroom, I can deal with the mushroom as it can be taken off, but 90% of my food was covered in tomato or tomato juice, I tried to ring the cafe 5 times to which I had no answer on either attempt, this resulted in my breaky going in the bin and me being £10 down and still hungry, absolute Terrible service, if you cant get your deliveries right or don't want to answer the phone then don't provide a delivery service

Called in on a Saturday morning. Two cooked breakfasts, one regular, one the slightly larger, and tea. The breakfasts came fairly quickly, the food was great.

We rode up from South Devon and called in for a breakfast. Couldn't praise the food or staff enough. Very friendly and helpful, food excellent with quick service and extremely good value. Lots of parking right outside to keep you eye on your bikes if you want, with plenty of seating inside and out. Will definitely be calling in again next time I'm up that way. Thanks.

Lovely food the owner is first class

Food is delicious and really really good prices! The girls are super friendly and the cafe is immaculate! We also love how every little detail on the menu is clear and easy to read. My hubby loves his grub and he said that Mega brekkie is worth the £7.50! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a decent breakfast! Added bonus Lizzy's isn't far from town and there's plenty of clearly marked parking for customers of the cafe! We'll be back soon with our Bamps because he is dying to have a Monster breakfast after our rave reviews 😁

Fabulous food, good quality and so very reasonably priced. Fabulous to see such excellent covid measures in place. Not sure about the previous review 🤷‍♀️ as I eat here weekly and its always been wonderful. Guess every place has an off day. Doorstep toast on the breakfasts, yummy and the sausages are delicious. (Not cheap ones either as I saw them being delivered.) See you next week ladies for my usual.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the food is very poor. The quality of the general ingredients is very poor and quite obviously bought on the cheap. The sauces on the tables are the nastiest cheapest variety I’d imagine you can buy, I’d never heard of the make before. The prices are relatively reasonable, but I’d sooner go elsewhere and pay slightly more. A wide variety of places nearby which are far superior. The only plus side was the fact that it’s nicely decorated inside. This was my first and last visit.

The food is fantastic, easy going staff

A week off work calls for at least one cooked brekkie out... Took my hubby & son... & between us we had a monster Brekkie, a regular brekkie, a sausage sandwich, a bacon sandwich, 2 cokes & a mug of tea ALL for less than £10... They were taking part in the help to eat out scheme. Food was lovely as always, except for hubby's egg which wasn't runny enough for him but they did him a fresh one straight away. The record everyone's name & contact number for track n trace & although it's a small area I felt safe enough Covid wise, it was very clean, constantly being sanitised upon people leaving & arriving. Love the sausages.

Lizzie's cafe and take away is now offering half-price meals from Monday to wednesday. This is to encourage more people to use Lizzie's cafe and get out more.

Called in for lunch, we had chicken curry from the extensive menu. The meal was very nice. All the meals are very cheap and very good.

We were at Xmas decorations factory just up the road and entered restaurant into the sat nav and it took us here..Crazy value for money and freshly cooked and hunky chunky toast and a full all day breakfast each tea and coffee all for mickey mouse money...only reflected in the cheapo coffee and tea....no need for that now with the quaity of Lidl or Aldi on offer rather than buying cheap catering items.Put change from the tenner into the tips box....we'll be back.....but next time, dont take the huff as I'll bring my own coffee sachets and tea bags....WELL DONE ALL....

Best value for money in Cwmbran for breakfast

A hidden jem for people who like the old 'greasy spoon' style Cafe where you can get a proper All Day Breakfast served all day. The staff are older ladies around retirement age and, very friendly and accommodating. The food is good - proper portions and reasonably priced.

Good breakfast; totally unhealthy, a treat going down. Great service. A clean and tidy venue.

I honestly could not believe how cheap this cafe was! On top of it being cheap, the food is good, exactly what you ask for, and not greasy. The cafe feels welcoming and homey, although a little on the cool side! I would definitely eat here again.

Yet again delicious food, piping hot and huge portions. My son loves the cheese and chips..Never had a bad or cold meal. Great news that they deliver.

Came in today 07/11/2016 as we do at least twice a week hubby has his normal monster I have the small breakfast we always get v good service and food but today was a real let down not just for us but other customers as well I like my food cooked not raw cold mushrooms, raw bacon and sausages still pink in the middle even the hash brown was still cold only thing hot on our plates was the tomatoes and the only good thing about it all was the cup of tea and still had the nerve to charge us for the full plates left on the table.

If you are looking for a good breakfast / lunch, look no further. The food served here is cooked to your liking and the prices will match any other food outlet. I called in for brecky and left feeling well fed and not robbed. Good Grub Good Value.
