Love This Place, Fantastic Atmosphere and Friendly Staff. Some of the great this here are the Rock n Roll Bingo they hold every 3rd Tuesday of the month, Karaoke other Thursday, Open Mic Nights that run alternate Thursday to Karaoke, The Once A Month Pint Sized Triva Quiz night and all the other fab night they put on inbetween. I always feel comfortable and welcome here. They also serve stunning pizzas that are all freshly made.

A regular haunt of mine, I have Sunday lunch here often. Warm welcome from staff and manager. Karaoke nights and themed dining nights. They now host a monthly Rock and Roll Bingo night too

Bin 2 the pub for a Chinese meal with my friends. Had an absolutely amazing + fun nite with gorgeous food. Brilliant bar service + by young waitress. Lovely service by landlady aswell. Always a welcome reaction wen u arrive through door 😊👍

Made myself and everyone I was with feel incredibly uncomfortable. They were rude as we were being served and continued to give us dirty looks throughout the night. We were playing a game of pool and got told we were ‘pool hoggers’ as we were playing (none of us actually play pool professionally). They continued to threaten to kick us out for ‘taking so long’ .Overall an absolutely horrendous experience I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a pub. I will not be going here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The single most worst experience I’ve ever had in a pub. Not only were the staff awful but we were also made to feel incredibly uncomfortable the whole night. We received dirty looks throughout the night and were told we were “hogging” the pool table when we were just playing a simple game of pool (none of us are professional players) throughout the night we were threatened to get kicked out for “hogging the pool table” when we were just trying to finish our game. Men got in our faces and were yelling at us to leave so two of us ended up leaving early and when our two other mates left they were chased by the bar staff and excused of stealing and then searched. To top it all off we are all now banned. Overall a terrible experience caused over a table and clearly a terrible attitude towards younger people. We were treated horrendously by most of the people there. Honestly steer clear.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Worst pub I have ever attended. I felt intimidated the whole time I was there. They were so rude when I was being served and continued to give my friends and I dirty looks throughout the night. We played a game of pool (none of us play professionally) and got called “pool hoggers”. They continued to confront us and use foul language towards us for ‘taking so long’. A man also invaded my friends personal space and got in his face saying“You will follow the rules of the f***ing pub”. Im assuming people who don’t play pool professionally are a big consent here. Two of my friends left due to feeling so uncomfortable. My other friend and I got chased out of there accused of ‘stealing’ and called foul names AGAIN by the landlady herself as well as some of the staff. We are banned without explanation or I’m guessing for ‘taking so long at playing pool’?? Avoid this place I have been here multiple times and have never had a good experience with the staff but this night really showed that.

Large, popular local Welsh pub. Friendly and helpful landlady and staff. Serves a good pint of ale and range of other drinks. Unfortunately no food is being served during lockdown, but it usually has a good menu. We felt safe and social distancing measures were excellent. Pub close to end of Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, handy for walkers. Highly recommended.
