The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Blaenau Gwent South Wales

I don’t eat out in restaurants or cafes, however this cafe was a exception on approach to the premises it was clean, inside it smelt clean and inviting. The food was outstanding the staff were polite and friendly and professional. Definitely going again with the rest of my family. Breakfast the best 10 out 10.

Did a little bit of shopping and stopped for a coffee. Lovely cup, perfectly made and none of this “do to hot” nonsense. Completely burns the milk and makes it taste horrendous. At least they get the temperature right. Unlike other places I have been too ! It was quiet and the centre itself could do with some more shops as its looking poor. Can not fault the service here though. Staff were fab. Offered to take my tray over and got me my spoon and sugar. Will definitely return.

We booked for Sunday dinner on 16th Feb. arrived at 13:50 and was disgusted to find the place was closed. No- one notified us to say it was closed, very disappointed that we traveled 30 mins to find it was shut. Please avoid.

Excellent breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. Lovely friendly staff. Prices are so cheap I expected to pay at least a quarter more. Will definitely come again next time we are passing through. Thank you

Great little place in the middle of Abertillery. We've had a few meals here and the staff are always pleased to see you and nothing is too much trouble. A wide range of choices for food and drinks. Food is prepared quickly and well presented. The fact that we keep going back tells it all we love the place and it is good value for money.

After meeting some horrible meals in Llanfoist, this place really delighted us. My choice was Homemade Falafel, my wife avo on sourdough. They also have nice variety of beers and ciders. That falafel-hummus-salad was best vegetarian meal I have ever eaten - and price was very resonable. For a couple of days I have had impression there is not reasonable priced restaurant in this area. Here we found it! Also service was exceptionally friendly. On the southern side of the A465 we could not found that. When visiting restaurants, I have last 50 years ate mainly meat or fish. Now this rather humble place gave me over the moon vegetarian experience!

Went for a meal Saturday evening ordered chilli rice and side chips and a chicken curry it was swimming on the plates with a mound of rice it had watery chilli around the plate and mouldy mushrooms I gagged also the chips were fowl greasy and just awful the plates were swimming with liquid and I.didnt want to say to the staff who where really nice and couldn't do enough but I felt embarrassed to say something about it just wanted to go out and get something tidy to eat sorry but it' was awful

Very bad experience.. called to make a menu related question they responded with an unintelligible word and hang up on me. With this service I’ll never even consider to go

Arrived at and they had run out of jacket potatoes which was crazy for a bank holiday. Ordered coronation chicken baguette with side salad and crisps. Well I had to search for the chicken and had 2 bits of crisps, side salad was a bit of lettuce slice of tomato no cucumber. Worst meal I have ever had. Couldn’t go back to raise an issue as it was packed and I didn’t want to queue again and gave my coffee go cold. Other people sitting by me ordered the same and their meal looked so much better even the couple said they couldn’t believe theirs to mine. If you are charging over £7 for a baguette then please make it the same as everyone’s. All I can think is the person in the kitchen was tired and just couldn’t be bothered to be working . Normally I give 5/5 but today you get -20 .

Advertised as having breakfast included in the price of the double room, gets there, pays, only to be told they dont do breakfast

Beautiful food amd lovely atmosphere

I came here for food for my 16th and I loved it the food was excellent the woman who served us was lovely and the pub was just great in general. The food was little bit pricey but it was worth it.

Went here for the quiz night, fair play it was a really good night we had a good laugh and even though I’m not that intellectual I had a good go, the atmosphere was brilliant and the competitiveness was even better, I’ll definitely be back next Thursday. They had some good drink promotions on too, bottles 3 for £10 cocktails 2 for £10.50
