Kahve Cafe Bar in Blaenau Gwent

The food here is excellent and genuinely freshly prepared. Avocado on sourdough with chilli and fresh rocket with lime was perfectly ripe and delicious. Hubby had a chicken burger that was genuinely homemade and came with perfectly cooked fries. Service was lovely including offering to turn the music down a bit when I asked which was the quietest table and the ambiance is nice, with tables set far enough apart to not feel crowded. Recommended.

Excellent, authentic-tasting food and exemplary service, took us back to time spent in Turkey. We will definitely be back for more.

We go to Abergavenny most weekends for breakfast/brunch and today saw a sign for this lovely place and decided to give it a go. There was a long wait for food and it was very quiet but it was worth waiting for as it was really tasty and the coked elements were all spot on. Coffee was a bit weak for me personally but will address that next time and maybe order another shot. Our server was really pleasant and personable. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in late September and in such a nice little spot in Abergavenny

Husband and I had a full english and turkish breakfast. Both very good. Well presented, delicious and very reasonably priced. Coffee good too. Highly recommend.

The food is very good. We both had the chicken and bacon club sandwich, all cooked to order - we could hear the bacon frying! Nothing pre-prepared.

Had an amazing breakfast here, bacon beautifully cooked and thick, sausages perfect, fried egg slightly runny, with beans, the glue of breakfast. Toast was wholemeal bread I think, lovely stuff.

I have coeliac disease which means I need to eat a strict gluten free diet, so it's always a concern when eating out. The staff at Kahve are very clued up on the requirements, and the food is delicious. I had the club sandwich with gluten free bread, and they even had a gluten free Efes beer. They have many gluten free options on the menu, which is great to see.

Food and service were fantastic. Great selection and really well presented. The live music was a bonus and very good too. Loved the atmosphere.

It’s great spot for a bit of lunch! However, I’ve been on multiple occasions and the wait has been horrendous. I waited over an hour for my cocktails when there were only 5 tables outside and we were one of the first sat. :(

Called in on a rainy day to grab something to eat. Food was top notch! Really tasty! We did have to wait a while however we were informed of this before we ordered and were happy to wait. Highly recommend

Friday afternoon gathering we had a mixed mezze meal for 8- lovely Mediterranean food and service. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at Kahve for an annual get together for Xmas with some friends. Bulent was really flexible and kind, giving us a range of options for a set menu. The food was stunning, especially the freshly cooked baklava with pistachio cream - absolutely amazing! I highly recommend visiting Kahve for a casual lunch or dinner or as a private party space.

We go to Kahve regularly with family as the food and atmosphere is excellent, including regular live music. The place is excellent for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even evening drinks with a great selection of cocktails as well as food. Recently Kahve allowed us use of their function room at very short notice in order to celebrate our wedding with around 30 of our friends. Many of our guests were visiting Abergavenny for the first time and it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Kahve even gave us a bottle of sparkling wine on the house. Highly recommended! 😁

Lovely restaurant does huge all day breakfast and choice coffee for less than a tenner, plus is open late for food / drinks in the evening every night (except Monday I think..)

We were looking for a quiet, cool place to rest our legs and have a bite to eat. Grand parents, adult children, a 7-year old and a five month old. What a find, tucked away off the main thoroughfare. Server and cafe team were really friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken burger/chips, wrap/salad and a bowl of fries, burger and chips and a kids all-day breakfast. All of the meals were freshly prepared so took a while to arrive, but it was certainly worth the wait. Chicken burgers were succulent, beef burger was perfectly seasoned and the wraps were honestly the best we’ve ever tasted. We all agreed it was a fantastic find and would thoroughly recommend.
