Advertised as having breakfast included in the price of the double room, gets there, pays, only to be told they dont do breakfast

A very pleasant visit, the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Tapas food was amazing best of all. Everything about this visit was fantastic.

Arrived on the 5th of sept to stay for two nights on work business,on arriving realised I had booked the following week the manager Danielle was amazing and sorted me a room for the night,I wasn't looking forward to another 2 hour drive home, The room was excellent, clean,well laid out Tea and coffee available,no food,but she directed me to the weatherspoons. Can't recommend the Cambrian highly enough will be back next time I am working close

What can I say - the food is excellent! The Sunday lunches are the best I have had anywhere! Large slices of tender beef, fluffy in the middle roast potatoes.tender, sweet roasted parsnips and crisp veg. The cauliflower cheese was stunning there was plenty off it we will definitely be going back I would also highly recommend this place for food. The staff are friendly and efficient . I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Excellent!

Went to stay for 1 night As we were on our way there, we were running late as there was lots of hold ups and the time was 11.00 pm as we phoned the reception regarding we were running late they couldn’t help us at all. The hotel then said go home as they were shut , this was impossible for 6 of us to go home as we were 7 hours away. The night resulted in 6 of us sleeping in our vehicles at -2 degrees No business would treat customers like this in such a Arrogant way, premier inn next time booking.com .

The location was great, in the middle of the town. Close to the park and pubs. We stood on Friday night and enjoyed live music. The staff was very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was superb and tasty. We would recommend it to you as well.

Fantastic service,great food and welcoming atmosphere. The value foe money was perfect and we will definitely visit again.

Ordered Sunday lunch to take away, and most certainly wasn’t disappointed. Beef was delicious! Will definitely return and recommend!!

Went for Christmas dinner at the cambrian, excellent dinner, very large portions. Highly recommended

It cost about £3.50 and with beans and cheese was really good. Soft fluffy insides with no dryness and yummy jacket too. Add a side order of peas. Hit the spot !

Excellent stay here for 2 nights. Lovely Inn, very large well maintained comfortable rooms. You are above a pub, they however provide ear plugs for each guest. There is live music Friday to Sunday, I did not find it a problem, and I am notorious for needing quiet rooms. The breakfasts are more than adequate in fact we struggled to finish them, I am vegiterian highly recommend the veggie breakfast. Lovely welcoming staff.

We needed somewhere near Brecon to stay for a night. We phoned The Cambrian Inn to book a room. The phone was answered by Chelsea who was very friendly and helpful (even lovelier when we met her on arrival). Our room was spotless and very cool (so grateful because outside temperature was 32 degrees!. ) We were very happy with our evening meal and our breakfast next morning. We would like to congratulate the manager who we met at breakfast, Thank you for looking after us. We would highly recommend you!

The menu is basic so I opted for the Cajun chicken burger. There were 2 pieces of chicken in my burger so definitely can’t fault the dish on portion size! However overall the quality of the meal could be better. The chips were soft and a weird brown colour and the chicken was a little bland. A real shame as when you serve simple pub grub you expect a good chip! I wish I’d tried the wetherspoons over the road instead.Also my colleague tried to eat vegetarian as much as possible but there was little vegetarian option so My colleague opted for a chicken curry, only the waiter came back after we placed our order to say they had no rice so had to swap for chips! A very typical pub grub sort of place.Service was great and price was very responsible. 2 main meals and 2 drinks for £20.

Would have liked to been warned of live bands as was very very noisy ear plugs were provided though . Doors need to be soft closing was woken most mornings by staff or other residents, all staff were very helpful the rooms we couldn’t fault at all bath room very clean ( may need privacy glass on bathroom window ! ) car park is small though breakfast was decent and a great choice . We would recommend it great stay !

All homemade, massive Yorkshire puddings, homemade gravy and fresh veg, and just 3 courses for £10 😍 amazing value for money!!

This was a real find, the pictures online do not do it justice. The pub is great, very clean, well priced and very lively! The food was great! Really good value and tasty, the rooms are lovely, clean and all looked like they had just been refurbished. We were a big family group that booked all of the rooms and had a great time in the bar and felt very welcome!
