Three friends and I called in for a pot of tea. We didn't eat any food but other tables did and the portions were generous. The cake selection is just amazing. Well worth a visit and it supports the hospice too.

Ordered a cream tea for 2 - cost Ā£10.90 - enough for 3 cups each and still some left in the pot. Scones were a bit too crumbly - but they were still tasty.

An eclectic place which I don't don't fully get but the staff were lovely, the cheesecake was epic and the coffee was spot on. Perfect for a post mountain treat. The cheesecake here is so good, always a few choices and the other cakes are just as fabulous. Savory food is also available from lighter snacks to hearty portions for lunch. The coffee here is also really good. Very smooth and served nice and hot

We experienced this lovely cute bistro or resto as the exceptional ONE on our journey! We nearly fell of our chairs when the dishes got served, glanced at it, tried and were blown away of the quality and taste.. The cook and the whole staff did a really great job! So far, we keep your menu and the evening with the nice conversation in good memories. Thank you and see you soon againš

I was looking online for Portmeirion Village tickets and noticed that they were included if you took lunch in the Castell's Brasserie - what a fab idea. I hadn't told my wife and daughter, and made up an excuse about us having to stop at the Castell to collect our village entry tickets. It was a gorgeous sunny day and the views from the Brasserie were amazing. The waiting staff were courteous and professional and the menu included a couple of fab veggie options. Our starters did seem to take a while to arrive, but there were a lot of people on our sitting, and when they arrived they were just gorgeous. You could see the skill and pride that had gone into making and presenting the food, it was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Let's get the grumpy stuff out of the way. Whoever had been co-opted to front of house was miserable and accused me of asking for a white wine when I gave her the number of a red one. Then argued with me. When we looked at the menu, of five or six items, only one was still on- beef- which was what we all wanted anyway. It was the best Sunday lunch that I have had for about four years. The meat was succulent, not over-cooked, and the vegetables done to perfection. Tasty gravy and a great Yorkshire pudding. The woman who was keeping an eye on the callow waiting staff was lovely and friendly. A great place. Pannacotta for dessert and Ā£23 for two courses. The place is fantastic. I understand it might be community-run, in which case they should allocate jobs to people who are temperamentally suited to carrying them out. If you want choice, maybe not for you, but a damn fine roast beef.

We first came here to eat in 2005, although Iāve found out today that this pre-dates the current owners. In recent years we have visited this restaurant on each of our one or more visits every year to Anglesey. We obviously wouldnāt do this if we didnāt enjoy it here. The food has always been well prepared, of very high quality, and the service efficient and welcoming. Today was a Sunday roast which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We donāt normally do desserts, but having tried a couple of āspecialsā on our last visit we decided to give it a go, and we were glad we did! Thoroughly recommended.
