I was in with my family yesterday for lunch and we had a great experience. Fast efficient service, staff were lovely and very friendly. The food was fantastic and i was meant to return today with my mum but due to the storm it is closed. Nice to see Greenhall are putting their staff and customers first.

Can't recommend Mibbies Aye highly enough. Great friendly service and the best rolls around! Sneaked in a few cakes as well as they all looked so good. Great coffee to wash it all down. Got to give this place a try if your in the Hamilton area!

Fantastic breakfast rolls. Great range and variety of veg and vegan. Excellent service. The quality of food is a level above local rivals.

I got a cheese & onion panini and my Mum got a cheese & onion toastie. Both of these came with coleslaw and a side salad with some dressing. We also got a portion of skin-on fries to share. This was my first visit to this café but I would most definitely return! The food was very reasonably priced, staff were friendly and there was a wide variety to choose from. Overall, a very pleasant visit.

Food here is amazing. The cakes are 10/10 best cakes around and always a huge selection. Defo recommend to anyone! Always friendly service too

Fabulous authentic food We visited this for a Saturday evening opening. We both enjoyed our food, sharing the kottu and rice platter . Both were delicious, freshly prepared & cooked . The service was genuinely friendly and helpful . If , like us , you enjoy real food prepared when ordered , you can't fail to enjoy the food at Barn Street .

On a vistit from Canada to family in Blantyre. We visited the Cafe twice . Serves great fresh food, home baking, great staff and service with a smile, well priced. Would recommend reservations as very popular.

This pub is the best pub you will find in the Lanarkshire area by a country mile. This place puts the P in pub, the U in unbelievable and the B in brilliant This pub has a great vibe if your wanting to vibe a good vibe, lots of pretty people looking for a good time in this great pub. Had a beer amazing little. Discovery down a alleyway friendly lady that served us.

Broke our journey to grab a hot takeaway drink. Great coffee (latte), at a very reasonable price, served by a young lady who was very pleasant. Next time we are driving through Carnwath, we will be trying the cafe attached to the shop, to sample some of the delicious looking cakes and savouries which were on display.

Went in for takeaway and asked to yous the toilet and was rudely told it was for sit in customers only. Which I think any buying customer should be entitled!

While looking through old photos of our 2022 trip to the UK, I stumbled upon pictures of the dishes we had at The Hungry Gannet and was instantly transported back to that wonderful day. My husband and I were traveling from Glasgow to Manchester and initially sought a good takeaway spot. By chance, we discovered The Hungry Gannet—and we’re so glad we decided to stop and dine in for brunch instead! The food was absolutely amazing. Portions were generous and satisfying. My omelette (with chicken and tomatoes) was hefty—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served with a wonderfully refreshing salad. My husband had the Tandoori Chicken Wrap, and coming from Singapore, where Indian food is a staple, he was impressed by how authentic and flavourful it was. We polished off everything on our plates, though we couldn’t quite finish the strawberry milkshake—it was delicious but we were too full! The café itself was cozy and intimate, despite being bustling from the moment we arrived until the time we left. The staff were super friendly, and we were fortunate to be served by the owner himself, who was warm and gentle. His kindness left a lasting impression on me, and it made our visit all the more special. I was genuinely sad we couldn’t return before leaving Scotland. Here’s hoping we cross paths again someday. Had a light lunch here today and the service and food was excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere and good prices. Definitely recommend
