I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed by a meal. My impression is that the food is like one of those Masterchef pop-up street food venues. I’ve never experienced one of those but if I did it couldn’t possibly be better than this.

Delicious fresh traditional homemade food, even the side salad could have been a meal in itself - included mildly spiced rice and creamy pasta. Lovely staff, incredible views, cosy happy atmosphere. Great selection of teas, proper coffee and ice creams! Baked goods looked lovely too. GF & Vegetarian/Vegan friendly. Disabled access and great entertainment/themed evenings planned throughout the week.

Just popped into Moka in Largs as hadn't had breakfast and decided to have some brunch. We are not vegitarian but thought we would try it out. Bright spacious cafe located in The Main street / Tron Place with lovely plants and pleasant modern decor . A warm welcome from staff and prompt service got us off to a good start. If you have never had a veggie roll in sausage you need to try it was absoloutley delishious..My wife had advacado smash on sourdough with salad and a lovely slight curry seasoning..so nice...coffee and tea really good and all at a reasonable price and service with a smile.. Not to be missed. 5 stars from us.

Dog friendly and disabled accessible not at all. After booking lunch and asking about the accessible assess for a tour I was told not a problem for both but on arrival only assistance dogs and no lift to get upstairs for lunch. A real waste of my time. Lots of staff standing around chatting. Might be nice whiskey but not great service

We visited the Douglas Bistro several times during a week's holiday on Arran. The setting is elegant, especially if you can secure a sea view and all the staff friendly and welcoming. The menu choice is excellent, the food was served with care and everything tasted delicious, apart from my lunch main course on one very busy day. When I commented that I was a disappointed that my lamb cutlets were smaller than my husband's a couple of days before and not pink, I received a heartfelt apology, a full refund and the offer of another main course. The service was second to none which encourages us to stay at the hotel when we return to the island next year. Considering this is food served on an island it is excellent value.

Bueno, agradable que nos tomasen nota de madera para calentarse y hornallas propietarios parecían tener muy acogedor. Vistas al mar desde fuera, lo que hizo que mucho más especial
