Just popped into Moka in Largs as hadn't had breakfast and decided to have some brunch. We are not vegitarian but thought we would try it out. Bright spacious cafe located in The Main street / Tron Place with lovely plants and pleasant modern decor . A warm welcome from staff and prompt service got us off to a good start. If you have never had a veggie roll in sausage you need to try it was absoloutley delishious..My wife had advacado smash on sourdough with salad and a lovely slight curry seasoning..so nice...coffee and tea really good and all at a reasonable price and service with a smile.. Not to be missed. 5 stars from us.

We had wanted to try this place for a while as I'm vegetarian. Oh my goodness, so glad we did. It's our new favourite cafe! Really like the space which is nicely laid out with plants and books (which are for sale). The tables aren't all packed in close together like most places we visit. It's dog friendly which is a huge plus. And the food.... Just divine! Service is excellent and friendly too. Prices extremely reasonable for what you get. We only wish they would open one in Largs where we live as there's a shortage of veggie and dog friendly eateries there. It would be a good mine! Well worth travelling for though. We shall return!

I casually went to Moka for brunch and I discovered a fantastic café, so cosy and beautifully decorated, with plants, fairy lights, vegan cookbooks… the food was delicious too and the oat cappuccino was amazing, the foam like no other I ever found in Ayrshire. Best cappuccino I ever had in Scotland. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Fabulous! What a brilliant wee place. 8 of us ate here none of us vegan or vegetarian and everyone loved what they had even the 80+ year old. Can’t recommend it enough. Yes some might find pricey but it’s far from it for the quality and compared to swankier places “nearby”.

We had a lovely lunch at Moka with our visiting family. Tasty food with a lovely fresh zing to it, excellent, cheerful staff and a lovely relaxed and contented atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the glasses of iced water we were served shortly after arriving as we had been walking on a warm day the Would definitely recommend and we will visit again.

Really horrible experience in the tavern, obnoxious customers and rude barmaid, will not be back.

Table booked on 24/12/2019 for 9 people to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. We were told when ordering our drinks that they had only one can of diet coke!! Bad start. One hour after our arrival no food had been brought to the table. Eventually starters were served. Food average. When we asked for salad cream for a salad it was to be told that they didn't have any! I ordered fish and chips and was told they didn't have any fish ' only scampi. Attitude to customers was take it or leave it! I felt they had let us down and Dalry down. We will not go back there again.

For a start, I don’t understand why a commercial building built in the late 90’s doesn’t have a lift given my guess of the average age of their clientele. We went for tea and a scone with my mum who is recovering from getting a new knee. We were told that we could have a table in the foyer cos the restaurant wasn’t accessible. They then changed their mind and told us that we couldn’t order a tea and a scone because there was already 6 people in their restaurant and it would be at least 30 minutes before they could put in a new order. There were 4 people in the empty shop, two in the foyer and presumably numerous staff in the cafe. Between them they couldn’t get us a tea and a scone. We won’t be back.

Great food and fantastic friendly service in an idyllic location. My brother and I, had the Bagel Stack for a breakfast, great start to a holiday in Largs.
