Visited with the wife and kids, and fell in love. It's a great place. They weren't yet open when we arrived, but the owners met us as we walked through and opened up for us. What an amazing greeting! They told us they'd only had the place since December and had been working non stop to build it up. The Coffee Shop was amazing. Great colors. LOVED the reclaimed pallet floor. Coffee was soooo good. They told me they get a lot of flack for not having ceramic cups, but I for one was glad to have to go cups. They were good size, good value for money, and the wife and I could go outside and be with the kids rather than being confined to a table. After the kids played for a while, we went back in and had some food. The kids got hot chocolates that they loved. Wife and I got more coffees, which I think is some of the best I've had in ages. I had a grilled ham and cheese (they call it the Hog) and my wife had the French Onion Met, which she said tasted incredible. It was all made fresh and fast, and served in baskets (something we're very used to in the States). I get it, they're trying to make a family (ie KID) friendly place not replicate what everyone else does. If that's not for you, there's plenty of other places to go. If you want good food, well priced, AMAZING customer service, and a kid/family friendly place to enjoy, come here. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The Coffee Shop lets the whole place down, miserable service , paper cups only half full with watery coffee , food in plastic baskets and very limited menu.A coffee shop is the main hub of any shopping experience !! Activities ok and can see a lot of work being done !

We ate from plastic baskets in the cold and uinviting cafe, drank from paper cups and read the bumph written to justify why - apparently health and safety would be horrified at the use of China cups because of the hazard of breakage and lacerations!! Come on -if you want to save money on staff to wash up or don't like doing it don't try and justify with rubbish like that. Almost every cafe in the country manages to get by with proper cups. And you have to take your cups and paper from the plastic dish to a rubbish bin when you are done but what if you don't drink up - do you tip a half full cup into the rubbish. No these guys obviously have no experience in the catering world - they need a manager (and they need to put that wonderful big log burner on for some cheer as well as warmth)

The whole place looks very tired . Wanted to drop in with my friend for coffee and a cake , after a long walk . No cakes of anything tempting and menu had no choice at all.Extremely over priced , only to be served in paper cups and plastic baskets . Very disappointed after the usual quality Coffee Shops on the Island .Two lovely retail units , that have obviously put a lot of work in .I didn't have children with me but I know they would have been disappointed with choice .I thought a lot more would have been done by now . A lot more hard work is called for I think . And I think the Café needs a big looking at !

On visiting a second time this year, thinking things may have improved, the only things to have improved are the enclosures in which the animals are kept. They now have access to grazing, which they did not previously. The cafe had no food when we enetered, and the prices were through the roof for a cup of tea / coffee. It was difficult to work out what was where, I think this place should have undergone a lot more work before being opened to the paying public. I will try again next year!

Arrived one hour late, pretty cold, meat overcooked. The biggest issue however seems to be the quality of meat, would avoid, plenty of decent breakfast and lunch places around the town.

This cracking wee back-bone of a pub in the heart of Irvine, is one of the last traditional pubs still in the centre of town. Very well known for being a ‘Rangers Pub’, but it’s full of smashing folks
