On a fait un repas en famille avec nuggets pour les enfants, et pour les parents hamburger et plats au curry poulet et riz C’était très bon, mais le service a été un peu long Globalement bien accueilli

Had a very good meal there. Inexpensive, very good food, very clean and extremely friendly.

Good choice of craft beers. 3 non-alcoholic beers - only alternative to the Heineken 00 in other bars.

Great site, no signal, very exposed. Good cafe, stock up on food if staying for few days. Good walks up to the Cullins and a nice easy walk out along the coast. Pitches are free roaming if no huck up required 👍🏻

A very sad situation. Don't bother anymore - a real shame- Previous owner/tennant who cared and did everything brilliantly has clearly moved on for good reason. We have been coming here for years. Food was great and vibe was tangible. Now .. food was not even worth our short drive from our hike 3 minutes away. We will not be back. A real shame as this was the jewel of thurso. Now a lump of coal at diamond prices. Owner is on another planet.

Great Scottish breakfast. On our way back to Edinburgh, hit the spot for a quick breakfast stop.

They are getting red of the sirloin steak. I upgraded because they were out, and it had a tough streek running thru it.

Top choice for Scottish food. We received a very friendly welcome and were always well served.

Good sized portions of solid pub fayre. Staff were attentive and friendly. Can't go wrong with this one!

We stopped for lunch. Inside v convivial and outside were several patio tables. Food was very good and prepared with care. I would say outclassed much pub food we have eaten over the years. Definitely worth a stop. We reached there after a lovely walk along the Spey Way from Aberlour. Whisky selection extensive and the friendly team’s advice for us novice whisky drinkers was invaluable. This is in the heart of Speyside distilleries so breathe in the atmosphere.

BEST BREAKFAST IN SCOTLAND!!!! If there was a 6 star button I’d have chosen that. Amazing staff which is great but the breakfast……. OMG!!! We have both been all over the world and we have eaten our fair share of cooked breakfasts but this is number 1 for sure. If you are within 100 miles of Loch Ness then you have to eat here. Amazing we will be back.

My best scottish food experience. Really enjoyed the chef's special. We arrived late in Mallaig and had not booked any table for dinner. We had a drink at the bar and were lucky to have dinner with a beautiful landscape, from the terrace. Really enjoyed it.

Great value, great food, great service.

This restaurant’s main attraction is the amazing view across to Taransay. The food was ok but not memorable. Maybe in choosing the haddock and chips, we went for the wrong thing. The chips weren’t fresh but rather frozen fried off the catering delivery truck and though well cooked and nicely presented, it wasn’t the absolute best we’ve ever eaten. They weren’t especially good value either. More off putting was the long list of dog rules sellotaped to the tabletop. We were accompanied by our well behaved retired guide dog and were seated at one of the two available dog friendly (or should I say dog tolerant) tables. This really isn’t necessary. The service was friendly enough. So, yeah, good and bad points. However it gets four stars for the outstanding views and the excellent service.
