No wonder this place is closing. What an absolute rip off!! So overpriced and such rubbish service

A great restaurant, but unfortunately really understaffed that day and therefore poor service, probably not due to the staff, but simply not enough given the size!

Table was booked for 7 pm. We turned up at 1850 to find it closed.....

Food was fine. Same with service. Nothing stands out about this place - very average. Might be fun for cocktails? They have a happy hour - check days.

Quite the unpleasant experience because of the wait time - 70mins !! We ordered 1 started, which came after 5mins and 5 main dishes, for which we had to wait for 70 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. Also, the drinks (simple cola) were diluted with water which i did not think was possible at any bar. Food was alright and the staff offered to pay for our meals due to abnormal wait time, which we thought was a commendable gesture.

Worst service, we enter at 8pm and they inform us that we have to wait 1 hour to eat. We enter and they make us sit on those high round tables with stools even though there were many other more comfortable seats, which according to the staff were occupied, but which were not used for our entire stay (about 1 hour and a half). from no one. After managing to attract the attention of a waiter to order, after 15 minutes of waiting they informed us that we had to change the entire order as the pizzas were no longer available from that time. We ask the waiter to also recommend some local beers but he makes us understand that they were not the best and advises us to take a simple Tennets (1 point for the sincerity of the waiter but -2 for the quality of the offer). Good value for money for the food, we ate two Burger King style sandwiches both in size and type of bread. The sandwiches were decently filled and served with a good portion of chips.

We really tried to eat lunch here but we sat at our table for 15 mins and no one came by…gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to wave a waiter over but they could have cared less. Host who sat us didn’t seem to think it was odd that we decided to leave. Unfortunate as the menu looked decent. Onwards!

first we were wondering, why this was the only empty place in the area. it looked cosy, so we walked in. now we know: food quite tasteless; also don't expect your meal to reflect the description in the menu

If you are not looking for anything special, a perfect place for a quick lunch or dinner at a more than reasonable price, in the heart of Inverness

Landed here by chance - our dogs are also welcome. Super great food and also great long drinks. Rustic but cozy decor, friendly service. We will definitely come back. 👍👍👍👍

If they hadn't made us sit for 25 minutes in front of the menus to be served, we wouldn't have gone to Cool Runnings opposite where we would have had an absolutely excellent meal! THANKS.

Husband and I had a lovely dinner here this evening. The service was great - low-key but friendly and efficient - and our meals were very good. Husband had the Penang Chicken Curry which he said was fantastic (he’s had it often in different restaurants) and my cauliflower burger was delish. Atmosphere on this Tuesday night was quiet and comfortable - just what we were looking for. Highly recommend.

First and foremost, food and service were fine. Up charging from fries to tots and getting ~10 tots was disappointing, but whatever. Secondly, I almost never review places but the ordering experience was infuriating. We almost left entirely and the table next to us was also pondering walking out. My complaint is the requirement to download an app (no QR website?!?), create an account, wait for confirmation code, allow location services, then navigating a convoluted menu, all before even placing an order. I’ve never seen anything like it.

The atmosphere was nice, but the service horrible, I think because it was just 2 staff around the tables for a huge place! Anyway, we were 3 in there and we had to ask 3 times to get our orders taken and even pointing the dishes on menu, 2 of 3 came wrong, after another long wait for our food the staff offered 2 drinks as compensation, but now bringing wrong, one more time, my friends dish, he was so starving that he didn’t complaint anymore! 2 margaritas, really good btw!! The hamburger quality is poor, too many ingredients, very wet and the low flavor! At the end, no staff around to bring our check, another 3 times asking for it …. and the girl didn’t even answer our Thank you!!

The beautiful place to eat and rest ... loveley food, best waiter and tasty drinks. - Two times visited on two days!

Delicious Gluten Free menu! I have the Truffle Burger with blue cheese. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Will definitely be back!

This was a brilliant lounge to visit, with a modern, glowing design! The bar is well presented with its gold colour, frames are pretty and the dance floor at night adds extra fun. I enjoyed a shot, sitting at the curved seats by a small table!

Good value for money meal deals

Had dinner last Sunday. Outside there was a sign saying 'open every day until 9 pm'. That was wrong, the kitchen is closed at 7 p.m. on Sunday. We had seen this online and were therefore on time (6 p.m.). I wanted a dish with chicken, but all the chicken (!!) was gone. That applied to half the map. Then ordered a burger, with a starter beforehand. After 45 minutes (and it was NOT busy at all) the main course arrived. I asked about the starter. They had forgotten that. Our "neighbors" had the same thing and so we started talking. That also happened to them, but then the main course was taken away again. Then came the starter and immediately the main course. So we accepted everything warmly together. The food tasted great but the service was bad! Those girls were full of stress and had to keep saying no and making up for what went wrong in the kitchen. Then had another cocktail, which suddenly became £6.00. That was a great price. Conclusion: if you don't want chicken and don't take a starter, you can have a nice meal here. Given the number of alternatives, I would only drink the cocktail here.

First time in, service was extremely slow, even though only a few people in the bar, had to ask to be served. Had a burger, was a rather good burger to be fair. A couple of cocktails were not mixed as well as could have been, but had a couple nice cocktails also. Wasn't to bad over all but think that it was abit pricey for what we got.

It’s just kind of alright to be honest. We stopped in for food and drinks on a Sunday around 3pm so it was nice and quiet. There’s a huge menu of cocktails and some of them are on a “happy days” menu so reduced to £6: happy days indeed! Food is largely burgers and pizzas with some mains options thrown in. I ordered the “Revs Chicken Kebab” but they were out of grilled chicken so settled for a burger and a starter of fried chicken. It was all just kind of ok. Nice sauce on the burger but the burger itself kind of had a spoons vibe to it. Not a problem in itself although the food is pretty expensive for what it is (£13ish I think!). I’d probably go back for drinks but wouldn’t bother with the overpriced food.

Food wasnt great for the price. The nachos were very basic, paid extra for chilli, and tbh was struggling to see whether it was salsa or chilli I was looking it sprinkled on top.

Service was very slow and had to go find the waitress a few times! Took 20 minutes just to get a drink. We were looking forward to the £6 cocktails, but they were 90% ice! No wonder they were only £6. We ordered the Rev sharing platter which was good, but they changed the jalapeño poppers for battered mushrooms without checking with us first. 1) I ordered that platter because I love jalapeño poppers 2) I hate mushrooms. All in all, just an average experience at an average restaurant.

We thought we would try here for food and cocktails but I just wanted a spicy margarita. The barman told my husband the chilli margarita was like this and had a chilli syrup, so I ordered that. It was awful. I took one sip and nearly choked with the cheap TABLE salt on rim...extremely salty...if you're going to use salt, use rock salt/maldon salt/himalayan salt etc. I cleaned it off and tried another sip...it was awful. Nothing like a spicy margarita. The level of spice was perfect but the sweetness ruined it, as did the horrid pink colour. It shouldn't be difficult to make a simple spicy margarita. I was so put off that we left. Very disappointing

How a pub should be. Feels like a local but city centre.

Atmosphere was great aswell as the service, Garry and Gavin made sure that we were always attended to! The drinks were fantastic and the food was also really good!

Went in for a quick lunch , £2.99 specials bring it on I had pizza which was fresh made and seasoned well my friend had the chicken wrap with a generous portion of fries , the waiter was great and the wine was lovely too , nice 😋

It was a quiet night, the app advertised at the table didn't work, didn't have what we wanted from the menu, took a long time to be served and then was overcharged. The waitresses were lovely but seemed to be overstretched.

Me and my partner came to revolution for a few drinks on Valentine’s Day. We are regular customers and enjoy the cocktails. The staff are usually friendly and talkative. This time the man on the bar was came across arrogant and did not make us feel welcome at all. The girl working with him was lovely and I felt bad for her working with him as he was clearly bringing her down. Bad vibes from him

Enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea (with the Revolution twist - not a scone in sight! ) - today. Great value for money, helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. Well done to the Manager for great service.

Came across this amazing pub while we were looking for a place to have a lunch. Inside the interiors is very nice, very tidy and clean pub. Staff were friendly. Even the toilet is very cleaned. Well done! We ordered fish and chips. The fish and chips are very fresh. Good for value. The only complaint I have is the small plates. When I cut the fish it went flying and I caught it in time before it landed on the floor... lol. We would definitely come back and I would recommend friends to come here.

Quiet due to time of the year, but service was still pretty slow and there were hardly any dishes available. Hopefully better come summer months

Great service from the guy who served our table, unfortunately did not get his name. We were a table of 9 and he was super accommodating throughout.

The espresso martini was too sweet. All the menus said "scan here to download the app and order" so I tried to but the tables didn't have numbers and it turns out they don't use that system at this location, which was confusing...

Amazing service trendily atmosphere and brilliant variety of cocktails

Never been in a bar with the most unhelpful staff ever , basically turned away group after groups of people who came into the Bar . Place lacked atmosphere and clearly a group of unmotivated staff , no wonders other bars around were out the door . Best just walk past as they’ll never give you a table.

Booked for works night out Table for 8 of us Email stating if we didn’t turn up they’d charge my card £90 Turned up for our booking on time - no table available. Waited to get seated next to noisy kitchen through in the restaurant. Went elsewhere.

I was in on Wednesday with a few of my friends we were on table 15 I think. And I just wanted to give a massive thanks to Emma jane who was our server nothing was a big task and got us anything we needed and any questions we had, huge thanks to whoever was behind the bar think Emma jane said it was Cameron but not 100% sure. Had the best experience and my friends who visited are very pleased with their experience too! Will definitely be back but yeh a massive thank you to Emma jane and the whole team!

My friend and I had a lovely wee evening and our bartender Cameron was super nice and helpful, he let my friend try a bit of alcohol just to make sure she'd definitely like it. Fab night.

Pizza is like a slice of Italy, amazing, fish and chips also. Good drinks, friendly staff, nice bar. The cocktails+food sale in weekdays are very good, best prices in the town.

Yikes ... got the unfriendliest welcome ever from guy behind the bar, think he was just mega stressed so I left and went onto the next bar.

We had a beautiful afternoon tea at Revolutions (Inverness) and were looked after by Charles who was ever so lovely! He was super welcoming and friendly. There was a great variety of yummy food and we throughly enjoyed it. We finished the meal with a cheeky little Photo Booth photo. Charles made what was already an enjoyable afternoon even better. Thank you!

Turned up at 5pm on Saturday only to be told by doorman that no walk ins allowed at that time due to bar staff backlogged with drink orders! Hardly anyone in the place! Absolutely shocking place is huge! Other bars far busier with less bar staff seeming to cope!

Had a class night last night, great drinks and great service, James who was on the bar was great banter and made a phenomenal pina colada. Overall a great night

Spent a couple of nights here during our stay at Inverness, really good atmosphere and drinks are reasonably priced. Got food the second night, Cameron our server was very helpful and service was quick! Would definitely be back! Slay!

Really enjoyed our afternoon session.

Was immediately seated, but after 20 minutes of waiting to order, left. While waiting, a waiter spent their time chatting up friends. Meanwhile, three tables next to them waited with no food or drink. The host who seated us and mentioned they would be right with us, was also chatting with coworkers when we left. The restaurant was near empty. I can’t comment on the food, but I don't recommend going to this restaurant, especially considering the ample competition in town.

Attempted to eat here… the host made jokes about how he hates working there, then seated us. After waiting for about 20 minutes and multiple attempts to flag down some staff, we couldn’t even get someone to take our drink orders. All of the staff were congregated in various corners of the restaurant joking around with each other. Multiple tables aside from ours we’re having the same problem of waiting to order and nobody serving them. It wasn’t even busy, just terrible. Avoid this place or you’ll regret it.

Einziger Ort an dem man am Freitagabend noch einen Tisch bekommt. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckte jedoch nicht und die Pommes Frites waren lahm. Alles in allem, eine unterdurchschnittlich Erfahrung.

Good drinks...at 11.50am when. The place was empty, they knocked back 10 customers as they never had a reservation. We thought it was bizarre. But great staff and tasty cocktails. Will be back.

What an incredible place having gone here on a date when arranging our wedding in Inverness On the day before our wedding we popped by for a sneaky cocktail the manager overheard us talking and told us to come back on the day! Well as we were eloping and it was just us we thought why not finish our night here. We were met with such generosity ! Prosecco and Shots and a photo booth and even a goody bag to take with us! Even offered us an umbrella!! Charles was such a beautiful host! We were utterly spoilt ! Big thank you for the management who set this up for us !!! INCREDIBLE thank you it made our night !! 🥰

Couldn't decide where to eat whilst in Inverness, until we came across Revolution. We were instantly welcomed. The service was great. The food was so much better than I was expecting. It is easy comfort food with a bit of pazaz about it. Burgers, pizzas, chicken dishes and sharing options. But I can't fault the quality. So good.

They had a great deal where 5 of their dishes were offered for £2.99. We ordered one of those and the food wasn't bad at all for the price offered. The fish and chips that my friend ordered were of a really good quantity considering the price. The server was friendly and polite. The only downside was the waiting time for the food to come, it took too long.
