Well what's best than a fresh and yummy lunch in summer, this place is my favourite for burgers and hot chocolate , it's an absolute delight to eat here every time , if you are passing by , do take a stop here for their delicious cheese burger and veege burger , the coleslaw is perfect as well. People who runs this cozy cafe are also very lovely and friendly 😌

We intentionally drove to this spot on our way to Perth only to find that despite what is listed online, the cafe was !closed. People rely on your information to be accurate.

The food was acceptable and as expected for the low price. Service is extremely slow. Clear preference for locals over tourists. Dirty bathroom. I would just go to a grocery store and get their ready made sandwiches before going back to this establishment. However, I will note that it was open when many others in town were not so that is good.

Scottish breakfast ok, but cheap sausages and no choice of what bread I preferred. But it's not quite the place you would have in your places to go book.

Its one of the best small cafe I visited, no fancy menu and such a homely taste. I will surely recommend this cafe. Specially the spicy beanie burger and mushroom soup (that was the soup of the day)

We like going here for lunch when we're exploring in the area. Good honest food, freshly prepared and leaf tea available. Family run. Kingussie has beautiful views of the mountains, good butcher and cheese shop.

Really knowledgeable staff, food was really great and well presented, good portion size and prices fairly reflected this too.

Cafe aroma is my local cafe, the food is always fantastic the price is the best in my area, and i am a vegan so it's harder to get places who serve good vegan options, the best thing also is you don't get charged an extra 40/50 pence for non dairy milk, that in itself is a huge thumbs up. All in all a fantastic cafe, fantastic prices, a very friendly welcome, and you can get some beautiful cards and pictures, by Aiden Woods plus he now has Calenders for 2023. I recommend you do visit when in kingussie.

Called in here while passing through on a Scotland visit. Breakfast was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly and even brought out a sausage for our Cocker Spaniel.

They say that Belinda Carlisle's song, "Heaven is a Place on Earth" is written about Hope - those people obviously haven't been here. After a night in the Cairngorms, we came here for a much needed Scottish Breakfast and some tea and cake. Fantastic food and friendly staff. Thank you very much.

When the scone arrived, there was no cream with. “We are out of cream” he said. You should have said before taking the order. When he left he was …… about my complaint. Not nice!

Very welcoming hosts. The delicious food is very reasonably priced. Set us up with tables outside so we could make the most of this mild October weather.

4 adults and 2 boys dropped in for lunch today! Great wee find. Simple no nonsense food... sandwiches/ toasties etc. Great friendly service and as my grandson remarked “ this is a good lunch” Worth a visit. Thank you

Nice open fire on a cold morning and a lovely breakfast.

We had a quick late lunch on the road to north west. The cafe got strong reviews and it lived to its name! Great food, flavoursome, well prepared , tasty. Family run biz and they were all extremely hard working. Defo visit you’ll not be disappointed. The only reason not 5 is that toilet was a little overwhelmed and needed attention.

Stopped off here for lunch with the hubby. Nice, clean little cafe with a great menu and vast selection of teas. Busy with school kids over lunch but that was no bother as the owners clearly had it all under control. Husband said he could have sat there all day.

Stopped in by chance for a late lunch when passing through Kingussie. AWESOME toasties, kid-recommended smoothies, delicious scones, great coffee, and friendly atmosphere (lots of locals in - always a good sign!). Highly recommend for food - or drinks!

Friendly service. Tasty panini with salad

No nonsense good food and coffee at great prices. An eclectic blend of decor yields a comfortable ambience paired with a wide cusine of sandwich-based fillings accompanied with coffee and home made cakes to polish it off. This is a family run busines and you can feel the heart in it. I had a perfect panini and cappuccino, but I'll be back for breakfast. Quick service with a genuine smile tops off the well deserved 5-stars.

Lovely Scottish breakfast, pudding, sausage, potato cake and bacon,all superb and tea and toast to complement, very nice chap served us ,would recommend.

We work in the village and almost every day get toasties and soup for lunch. They are always really well filled and the salad and coleslaw is always fresh. We love it!!

Visited here this afternoon. Went to Highland Wildlife Park during the day & thought we would get something to eat on our way back to our hotel that we were staying at which was the Duke of Gordon Hotel. We had a cheeseburger each & then I had a carrot cake with a hot chocolate & my hubby had a Victoria sponge cake with a cup of tea. Everything was delicious & the service was fab. The staff were very friendly, courteous & helpful. Great little cafe with great service & tasty food. Totally recommend.

Asked if there was a toilet yes but for customers only.The toilet was filthy.I told the young waiter and he asked his female colleague to clean it but she didn't do it.My wife wouldn't use it.No food except cake at about 2.30pm.Won't be back.

Geat little find, home cooking, recommend.

We live locally but often drop in for coffee, soup and a chat. Today's mushroom soup was hot and tasty, and the butter was straight from the fridge, a wonderful combination on a grey day. Don't miss this place even if you are only passing through.

Cafe Aroma on the main street in Kingussie, appears to have the Monday trade captured as the only cafe open, neat tidy "oldie worlde" looks. Coffee was excellent and accompanying scones complete with clotted cream and jam was just the pick me up required! Perfect for sandwiches or soup, good homemade fair at reasonable prices.Called a couple of times during our 2 week stay in the area.

As other reviewers have said, this place is a gem. It is right on the main street in Kinguissie and obviously appreciated by locals as well as tourists. The menu is excellent for really well priced casual meals and drinks. Service is prompt and the staff are super friendly. We would definitely return here when next in the area.

My mum and I stopped here for a coffee break on the way back to Glasgow after staying in Invergordon. The prices were reasonable and the owners were so lovely. I'd recommend going in for a coffee and a chat if you're passing!

Food excellent but a fairly small cafe which is very popular with the school pupils at lunch time. We timed it well and enjoyed a very nice lunch at a very reasonable price.

Dog friendly. If you want just a basic toasted sandwich and soup this place is ideal. Prob best to avoid school lunchtime if you need something quick as many children from the local high school collect their lunches from there. We were warned though. However, it must be said that they appear to have a good system doing for this, the children were very well behaved and polite so that doesn't mean you need to avoid it totally. Very reasonable too. A great old fashioned type café which we despite us holidaying in the area twice a year for over 20 years we have only just been in. We will use it again.

Having arrived too early for a meeting in Newtonmore myself and a friend decided to head to Kingussie and find somewhere for a hot drink. Cafe Aroma was a place that answered our needs. A lovely cuppa accompanied by a scone. Just right to cheer a cold wet driech morning

We stopped in for lunch after a blustery walk. Excellent hearty soup and very tasty toasted sandwiches.

Wanted to take a quick break while enroute to the next destination, and chanced upon this little cafe in the tiny town of Kingussie.

.Place was mopped full of school pupils .It took us forever to order . it was worth the wait our soups and sandwiches were really tasty.On the other hand the coffee was tasteless.I would give it another try...on a weekend.

In for lunch one day and the place was full of school pupils who were very polite and respectful. One group of pupils were overcharged and one of them went to complain. The woman working seemed very frustrated and was swearing her head off. Nice place yet the staff did not work well together and the woman who i believe owns the place should control herself and remember that there are people in the cafe.

Weak coffee and burnt the milk, if you cant make a good latte dont offer it, ate elsewhere as if you cant get the coffee right the food might be the same

We only had the opportunity to visit here once, and wish we could have been more often. The place was buzzing, and the coffee excellent.

Called in here for lunch it is so good and it is also open on sunday which is so rare in Kingussie a welcome addition to the town

Welcoming staff and friendly Chef. Bring your own bottle if you wish alcohol, Fabulous Venison cooked to perfection. Puddings of Lemon Tart and Chocolate Profiteroles were just fab. Thank you for a lovely evening

Pass this coffee shop regularly when walking dog or baby, so never go in. A change of plans saw me pay a visit. The first thing you notice is the lovely heat from the wood burning stove. The decor is fresh and shows a lovely traditional shop with the wooden cladding. The place looks spotless.

Cafe Aroma is Kingussie's equivalent of the Queen Vicbut minus the alcohol. Huge portions of freshly made food and lovely cakes. Wood burning stove, welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff who take an interest in their customers without being obtrusive.

coffee is not good,the quality of the coffee could be improved,having said that,the coffee shop is ok.tiny,but enough i guess, for what kingussie is nowadays,a teene tiny village with no much life.It was lacking atmosphere ,that feeling you get when there are not many costumers in a place and you are not sure whether to call in or not.staff pleasant.cosy fire.prices are good.
