The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Etant de passage à Belfast, nous avons repéré le restaurant Ox mais il était trop tard pour réserver. Heureusement, on nous a redirigés vers la cave et nous avons été ravis par l'accueil, le décor et l'exquis dîner. De petites portions ( on nous a prévenus) mais toutes absolument délicieuses. Nous pensons même avoir dégusté le meilleur agneau (ressemblant à ceux de prés-salés) qui soit. Les Saint-Jacques, le vin, tout fut parfait. Merci à Alain pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme !

Lovely little spot, reasonably priced and staff are so accommodating. Most importantly the food was delicious will definitely return if back in the area.

So excited to finally go here with my daughter but the experience wasn't what I expected. For the prices there is no table service you have to order at the till. I was not advised correctly when asking about the Spanish hot chocolate. It isn't a drink it comes in a bowl for dipping biscuits in. I specifically asked was it like a normal hot chocolate you could drink and was told yes. I ordered coffee and 2 savoury pancakes. Paying by card I was asked to select what tip I wanted to leave. Feeling like I had no option I left one. Then we waited on our food. I had to go and order tea after the "drinks" arrived as the Spanish hot chocolate is not a drink and leave another tip. We waited again and after 35 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. To be told that the food order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. We didn't have time to wait any longer. When the refund was being done they didn't ask what of your tip you would like refunded. I don't mind paying for service but we didn't get any. Can't review the food as we didn't get any of that. Won't be back. Sometimes best to stick to the places you know.

I contacted Jamie, the owner, to see if we could host my husband's 40th birthday party at the venue and was delighted that there was availability. Jamie was very helpful and answered all my questions and made the planning of the evening effortless. Twenty-six of us enjoyed the most amazing burgers, chips, and salad outside in the lovely beer garden. The Horsebox Bar was also open, which served delicious cocktails. Jamie and his member of staff, apologises as I am unsure of her name, were absolutely fantastic, and their customer service was first class. Thank you to both for making the evening such a success.

The food is ususally very good, but for some reason the service is very bad, was ther today (22/3/25) and we waited and waited but no food or drinks came. My wife finally asked a waitress (THE ONE WEARING THE GUESS T SHIRT) her cheeky and very rude reply was and is totally unexcceptable . We aske a somple question and the reply was about fresh food which we expected any way. Never be back at the place and we will spread the word. Customer Service costs nothing except bad customer service can cost you your business.

Great wee bar for local people, just drinks available at moment

Went here today for Breakfast. Truly lovely people very welcoming and a lovely Breakfast too. Best in the high Street and great value for money. Some people of Prestatyn if you have tried the rest now try the best you won't be disappointed x

Just what we need to satisfy the ole sweet-tooth. Great service, we were in and out in 10-12 minutes. Great ice cream, the rum raisin was especially good.

I come to Coleraine to see family for a few days, walked into the town centre and found Pear Tree. Being hungry I stopped here and I am so glad I did. Wow, the breakfast I had with a pot of tea was amazing. I know you only have my word, but if I lived in or around Coleraine, I would go there every morning. Bosh.

Good varied menu , top spot on North Coast Breakfast /brunch is fab Nice selection. My family enjoys it every time we visit. We usually have breakfast. It’s busy so go early!

Called here on our way through Antrim had read other reviews and the menu online looked really good. The Brioche French toast was nice although it was different temperatures throughout and cold in some places. The coffee was good but what really let the whole experience down was the eggs benedict. Eggs benedict is a classic breakfast or brunch dish that has been enjoyed for decades and when done right is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately this was not the case here they have tried to add a twist to a dish that does not need any enhancements and in turn have ruined it. The crispy kale was inedible it was soaked in salt and was awful, the substitute for bacon was two slices of fatty hard overcooked slices of belly pork that had been reheated. I do not want belly pork for breakfast there was more fat than meat and it smelt awful. The hollandaise sauce was not too bad but then it had a black syrup drizzled on the plate which was bitter and did not complement the dish. The poached eggs were exceptional and were the best bit of the dish the rest I had to leave. Please just serve a classic eggs benedict its a winner every time I understand that you have tried to enhance the dish but this is an epic fail! The desserts I took home were nice and the carrot cake was one of the best I have had. My son ordered a toastie and we were confused as he asked for ham and cheese but was told they only did ham and cheese from 11am onwards but he could have a cheese toastie? Surely you can put a slice of ham in a toastie at the same time as putting cheese in it I assume you have ham on the premises so I don't fully understand the reasoning behind this. The café is a little grubby in places and could do with a little attention to detail. All in all it was a disappointing visit. Price wise its not extortionate but not good value at the same time portion sizes are good and its in a handy location for parking.

Food was really good, especially the jacket potatoes. I will remember that one. Drinks were also very nice and not too sweet. The view of the park was definitely the eye catching reason we came here, but it was so worth it all around.

Muy útil para venir mientras mi hijo tomaba su examen de teoría de la conducción al lado. Personal amable, y buen café a un precio decente. Había un menú de bocadillos agradable y selección de pasteles, así como sándwiches pre-empacados disponibles. ¡Definitivamente volveremos si tiene que resistir su prueba teórica!

Absolutamente Magnífico Family dirigido Café en la carretera Belmont en el este de Belfast. . Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue lo limpio y bien cuidado que estaba el lugar. . También hay algunas hermosas imágenes históricas de East Belfast en las paredes. . Algo que creo que siempre es encantador de ver. . El servicio fue rápido, educado y todo lo que podía pedir. . En cuanto a la comida, yo tenía las patatas fritas vegetarianas y era magnífico. . Muy sabroso con una muy buena mezcla de artículos. . Bright and clean cafe, staff lovely... But ....so disappointed with dressed porridge, basically served porridge with a banana.... Ground Portrush have stewed fruit with granola, and it is amazing !!!
