Anzac Bistro

Glentaisie, Moyle, <20£
20/10/2019: We called by chance when looking for a meal one evening. The staff were very welcoming, the menu has variety and well priced. We'll definitely be back!!
16/10/2019: Excellent service and great food. Very varied menu. Will definitely be back for another lovely meal. Highly recommended.

Sleepy Hollow Restaurant

Mallusk, Newtownabbey
05/12/2019: Another fantastic meal with the family. Never disappoints and always a great spread. Very tasty dessert menu. Book a table and enjoy a great night with tasty food and drinks.
03/12/2019: We heard great things about this restaurant and were keen to have dinner there. Booked it for our anniversary and to be honest, I would have been happier in McDonald's it was the bad. I am vegetarian and to say the meal I was served was inedible would have been an understatement. I have never eaten something that was burnt on the outside and frozen on the inside before and then been forced to pay an extortionate price for it. The rest of the food was ok but bordering on not very nice. It was a total and utter disappointment and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Morelli's to Go!

Portstewart, Coleraine, <20£
07/11/2019: Love it! Homemade ice cream with delicious flavours to suit everyone. Try new flavours and enjoy with toppings.
05/08/2019: Brilliant choice of ice cream and plenty of options including sliders and nougat wafer. Our friend has a cashew nut allergy and her choice of nougat wafer was prepared separately. Most reassuring. Many thanks. This popular brand has expanded in the last few years. Delighted, as far more people can enjoy the amazing icecream. I had coffee and honeycomb in a medium wafer from the wide selection. It was absolutely delicious. The young staff were completely charming too. On another occasion I will sit down and have the biggest sundae the parlour makes. For another time!

Kiwi's Brew Bar

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
01/12/2019: If you are ever up in this neck of the woods this bar is a must visit !
05/10/2019: Everytime we go to portrush we have to go to the Kiwi bar. The best wings in the world aswell as faultless burgers! Kiwi is truly a gem that will never disappoint!

Cafe Revive

Glenaan, Moyle, <20£
22/10/2019: Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Ursprüngliches Cafe mit leckerem hausgemachten Kuchen. Klein aber superfein
21/10/2019: We had breakfast at Cafe Revive -- light fry for me, fry for my husband. Delicious food, including fresh bread, tea, and some of the best hot chocolate ever! A small cafe with a cozy atmosphere, vintage decor, charming. Best of all, the proprietor, Steven, entertained us with stories about his amazing grandmother (ask about her!) and witty and smart observations about life. If you're anywhere near Cushendall, a stop at this place is a must!

Wee Cottage

Garvagh, Coleraine
23/09/2019: Initially just wanted a coffee but ended up having a scone too. Have to say it was the best scone I had ever had, so much so I went back for another a couple of days later!
04/09/2019: Fab!!! Right there at Dunluce Castle, fortify your self before visiting the castle. Friendly and cozy! Decor is Vintage OTT, but it works! Try to get the divan by the wee fireplace. Scones are beautiful with traditional trimming. Good hot coffee and tea! When we have visitors we always bring them to the Wee Cottage!

Marys Bar

Glebe, Magherafelt
03/12/2019: We entered this pub for the first time not knowing what to think with friends. There were drinks ordered and we took seats and immediately were impresssed with both the service and the atmosphere. As the evening went only we became very happy with what was happenong all around us.The ladys in the company decided to have cocktails and were well impressed with them and how they were presented. At this point they enquired how they were made and an explanation of some of the ingrediants. We just set and listened to the detailed account that we were given by the barman who I may add is a credit to his profession and to this bar. He explaied everything in so much detail at let us taste some the incrediants seperatetly, which was a real experience. At this point we decided to stay for our evening meal and what a great decision. The variety on the menue was excellent and was matched by reasonable prices. We had a variety of food ranging from fish, steak and chicken. We were not disappointed with what was presented to us and certainly not withn the taste. The food was filled with flavour and enjoyed by everyone as the empty plates showed. A place to visit when in Magherafelt or even passing through.
25/11/2019: There should be more than one soup on offer at Christmas Eve this year. Not everyone likes a broth. Also very limited Christmas Lunch menu - there should be a lighter option such as a panini or a toastie on offer.

Castle Demesne, Ballymena
30/11/2019: this spot is always buisy, the staff are helpful and all the products very good, this keeps us returning again and again.
17/11/2019: Really enjoyed our visit to Juliano’s for coffee and lunch. Panini’s and pancakes are really yum. Great food and really lovely staff who couldn’t be more helpful -especially Tamara !! We will definitely be back

The Rinkha

Island Magee, Larne
05/10/2019: The Rinkha stocks an amazing variety of delicious ice creams. We had a trip down memory lane and worked our way round a few on a recent visit.
26/09/2019: Fab varietry of delicious ice-creams. Spoil ureself! All sorts of everything in this historic shop. Food, toys, hardware..u name it. Staff friendly - just down from Gobbins walk. A lovely end to the day.

Babushka Kitchen Cafe

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
20/11/2019: I have been to Babushka many times and have always been impressed. These people really know the food and coffee. It is my first stop when returning to N. Ireland. Great fare and then a fantastic walk by the sea.
19/11/2019: I regularly visit Babushka, reason being the food is delicious (Smokey beans is my favourite) the coffee is the best in the area and the staff are always friendly, attentive and helpful. Any negative reviews about this place I imagine are written by people who love massive portions and extra hot coffee. Food might take it's time to get to you but is most certainly worth the wait!

The Cosy Chair

Rostulla, Newtownabbey
04/12/2019: I used to frequently visit here and loved it. Simply amazing scones. Unfortunately in the last month or so the scores have not been anywhere near as nice and have been quite dry. The portions of jam you get are decreasing.
06/11/2019: Absolutely gorgeous and very reasonable. Soups really good and scones are delicious. Really nice set up

Rostulla, Newtownabbey, <20£
25/10/2019: Highly recommended Staff are friendly and food is first class A brilliant restaurant and very much worth a visit the staff will look after you
26/09/2019: I called here with a friend in passing and easily got a seat. Ordered a burger and it was nice enough. Nice ambience and average pricing with view of sea across the road mixed with very pleasant and helpful staff made this a good experience. Menu is a bit limited and a nice touch would be to ask if we wanted water or leave a hug on the table.

Adelphi Bistro

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
15/11/2019: We ate here whilst on a business trip. We were made to feel very welcome. I had what I would describe as a deconstructed prawn cocktail followed by chicken breast and garlic fries. Both were delicious and I am just disappointed that I was too full to sample the sticky toffee pudding. My colleague had garlic mushrooms followed by the beef burger. Again this looked delicious and sadly he was also too full to have a pudding.
03/11/2019: Found good reviews on Trip Advisor for the Adelphi... and wasn't disappointed!

Central, Larne
14/10/2019: Best meals in Larne service fantastic the staff go that extra mile to help.we eat there a lot have not had a bad meal yet.deff my very favourite place to eat.
31/08/2019: Good value homely cooking on the 5 for 5 menu. The best vegetable soup and wheaten bread I have had in a long time. The chowder also rated highly. Ample portions.

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
03/10/2019: Morellis is an institution and rightly so! Great ice cream, friendly staff and quick service. Quite expensive but definitely worth a visit
24/08/2019: Not been in Portrush in 35 years, popped in for a post burger dessert, wow, truly great gelato, very enjoyable, maybe their ice cream (double cream vanilla and chocolate, chosen, about 16 flavours available) is more creamy than that made in Italy, but equal to it in every way, good value too, 15 or so outlets in the North East, recommended.
