Truffles Coffee Shop in Belfast

We went here for lunch and it was a lovely meal. Staff seated us very quickly and we were given a couple of menus to look over. My partner had ordered a chicken ceaser salad and I had ordered a cheese and tomato toastie. Food arrived quite promptly which wasn't too surprising considering what we had ordered. The toastie came with salad and coleslaw however I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. Personally, it was too creamy. My partner said that he has enjoyed his salad, but it could have done with more olives and chicken. Overall, it was an average portion of food. Staff were friendly enough and the food wasn't overly expensive.

First time visiting and definitely will not be our last. As family with two requiring gluten free as both have coeliac disease they were well catered for . The food service was excellent and can highly recommend

This is the best coffee shop in east Belfast and jo jo is the best waitress ever, very friendly and great food and service.

Use to pop in from time to time for breakfast. Have not visited for a while. Service not good at all. Waited long time for menu, Plate fired down and waitress walked away without checking I had everything. Give up on getting my beverage I ordered with my breakfast.

Would go to Truffles on an occasional Saturday with my Husband an Son or sometimes my mum. We loved it. Friendly staff. You meet customers you've seen before very welcoming place. Food is good and fresh. Don't know why this wee gem.on the Belmont has not been nominated for good food. Pay a visit you will go back. Happy customer

Truffles is really great, the food is fresh and tasty and the place has a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. My only minor gripe is that there are a lot of pretentious people who patronise the place. That aside it is fantastic and I suppose the pretentious crowd have to go somewhere

Definitely check this place out, try the “Belly Buster”, but be warned you may get addicted. Friendly staff and great value

Mocha was absolutely beautiful!! I had a lovely sweet chilli chicken toastie which came with chips and salad, food was fab will definitely be back!

Went into this place today for a cup of tea and raspberry and white chocolate scone! This scone was the most tastiest yet! The only issue I have with this place is the woman who was serving! It was quite busy when I went in and she looked quite stressed and didn't come across as friendly as places I had been in before! So maybe they need to improve on that! But overall I thought this place was a wee gem and I would recommend it to anyone in the Belmont road area!

Visited here about 2 weeks ago a with my partner as we were in the area, we ordered 2 frys and toast. Both were cooked beautifully and wasn't greasy at all. Made the trip across town and we visited here today again because last time was so nice! However the food was disappointing. In my opinion... it was cooked by someone different. It was extremely oily and even tasted very oily!! Bit disappointed as last time, we couldn't have faulted it.

Service very slow during busy periods but the food is so tasty and made to order so if you have the time, the wait is worth it! Full fry is such good value for money and the coffee is delicious! I would definitely go back!

I come over once a year to visit Belfast to see family over here and we always visit Truffles! The food is a traditional taste of Belfast, the service is quick, the portions are large and the price is perfect! Would highly recommend!

Honestly the best cafe on the Belmont road if you want a home made fry! It's a business which is there for its regulars, the shop is a little out dated but that doesnt stop the regulars flooding in on a Saturday morning!
