I just love The Pocket especially for their Pocket Fry. It’s consistently exceptional cooked to perfection and always fresh. The quality of the ingredients really shines through in every bite. I also love their coffee, which perfectly complements the meal. Whether I’m in for a hearty breakfast or just a great cup of coffee, The Pocket never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch food and a cozy atmosphere.

Staff were more interested in in getting you in and out rather than catering to customers needs and making sure they had a great experience. It was nice and busy which said the food should be good! They let us store our cases so they were out of the way. Which is always a help. When asked what we would like for a drink. I asked if they had a Diet Coke or similar as I couldn’t find it on the menu. They don’t do soft drinks like that I was told. So I asked for what they did have that does NOT contain sugar…. I was brought a fresh orange. In the smallest of glasses too! The food was very nice as was the atmosphere. I would say though, don’t sit on the bench seats against the window as they make you sit in a very awkward position. We had finished our breakfast and just sat chatting, planning our long weekend enjoying our drinks when the table was cleared - apart from the unfinished drinks and the bill thrust on the table. Wife said her breakfast was delicious and different. Take a look at the pic. It was the chorizo brunch We were going to order teas and coffees but obviously it seemed they wanted more lucrative orders since they speedily gave us the bill before we had even finished. Shame really as it tarnished what is actually a lovely cafe with decent food and toilet facilities

We had spotted this place a few times, always busy and so when we got seated today (Sunday) we were delighted. We were immediately advised (by a friendly staff member) if we wanted hot food the kitchen closed in 5 minutes (we were grateful for the prompt). Within 30 seconds of being seated (no exaggeration) we were approached by a waitress to take the order, she was rude, pushy and particularly unfriendly. My 11 year old daughter knocked a fork off the table and she was particularly bitting when my daughter when to pick it up ‘just leave it’ she ordered. It upset the entire lunch, had my husband not ordered I would have walked out. I won’t be back.

Amazing Brunch in a comfortable setting. Both of us had French Toast and it has to be the best that we have ever had. Will definitely be back !

Arrived first thing in Belfast and went to The Pocket for breakfast. A short wait for a table then had an absolutely cracking breakfast. Great choice to had from the menu. Everyone around us was loving it. It was that good we went back next day. Friendly staff, nice laid back atmosphere and great coffee to boot. Definite hit in my book.

Looked good from the outside but a little grubby inside. They maybe need to freshen it up a little. We had a cheese sandwich and sausage roll and a couple of tray bakes. The sandwich was pretty poor but the rest was nice enough. Average prices. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful as seems to be the case in Belfast overall.

Absolutely Superb Family run Cafe on the Belmont Road in East Belfast.. First thing that struck me was how very clean & well maintained the place was.. There are also some Beautiful Historic Pictures of East Belfast on the walls.. Something that I believe is always lovely to see.. The Service was prompt, polite & all you could ask for.. As for the Food, I had the Vegatarian Fry & it was Superb.. Very Tasty with a very good mixture of items.. (Items can be replaced by request when making your order).. My Friend had the Soup with Wheaten Bread & she said that it was Delicious.. She also commented on the cleanliness & First Class Presentation of the Establishment.. This was my first visit but I will definitely be back.. I Highly Recommend this Cafe for Food or Drink at any time of the day..

Was here for a event. Cant believe in a pre arranged event they ran out of Guinness before 11pm... particularly since from what I could see there was very little Guinness sold...I wonder could the barman just not be bothered changing the keg???
