Had the best Cappucino Coffee I have ever tasted, lovely and thick and creamy without being all foamy. Recommended, but a very busy place and you may have to queue for a while and wait for your order.

We both enjoyed a tasty latte today at Bothy, having drove past this place several times it was time to try it. As we had our dogs with us we decided to drink our coffees in the back area which had nice rustic tables and chairs and were comfortable. Inside the main building is a comfy and welcoming area if you want to eat inside with a roaring fire. Teas, coffees, sandwiches, soups, treats all on the menus.Very homely and a nice relaxing place for coffee and treats, we will be back!!!There is a lovely resident black and white cat there who was very friendly!!!

My Mum and I are up this direction for a week and have tried out a number of places - sharing a scone or something similar and having a decaf flat white and a regular flat white and I have to say this is the best coffee yet! We both like our coffee quite strong and this was just perfect. The scone was amazing too - raspberry and peach I’m not a big fan of peaches but it was lovely). We also shared a salted caramel brownie which was so fresh too. The staff were really helpful and the distancing was very appropriate. Many thanks Bothy Staff.

I visited this café today with my friend, and was served scones and tea, my absolute favourite meal, one that I partake in many different establishments with my friend throughout the year. The scone was nicely made, and the tea had plenty of milk on the side, where in other restaurants i usually have to ask for more. The young waitress Jessica who served us was very polite and professional, and a great conversationalist who made us feel very welcome. We will most certainly be back and congrats to the young people who work there who really make the business viable :) good luck in the future!

A nice stop for coffee with great views of the Antrim Coast. Scones were fresh and warm. Coffee was strong. Services was good. The restaurant could have been a little warmer ( it was a cool morning and there was no heat on..!!).

Really good stop-off for a snack or lunch. The pizza oven is a novel add-on to the usual cafe. There's also a good range of gluten-free snacks and meals, a warm welcome and a pleasant outlook.

Nice stop when travelling in Antrim country, the cafe offers a wide range of very fresh and selfmade types of food. Fine for a sweet tooth, but also when looking for something more savoury

I love sitting out back, or out front, at the Bothy talking to tourists and locals alike. Just a really lovely place to meet friends for a casual bite to eat or a coffee and traybake. Great pizza night on Thursday evenings. Salt of the earth, wholesome type of place. Very calming! Lovely local arts and crafts for sale too. Great homemade jams and chutneys. Staff very helpful.

Visited here last week after so much ‘hype’ and felt I was missing out, I really wasn’t!! Got a cheese and chicken toastie. Was rather dry and nothing exciting at all. Husband had pasta which he said was nice. Then had coffee & carrot cake after. Carrot cake was so very dry. Also be warned this place is expensive! Overrated in my opinion.

This is a busy little spot and we can see why. We tried and shared two traybakes and each had a London fog (earl grey latte with vanilla syrup - if you’ve never had one, try it!!) and all were spot on. Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is nice.

Called in for coffee and ice cream. Coffee was good though small, I would go for large next time. Three of our group had a tub of morellis ice cream. I had a tray bake which was fine. Surroundings were very interesting and it was very pleasant out on the patio with the sun shining. Toilets were tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Thanks!

If you know your coffee you'll love this place. In what feels like the middle of nowhere it's a truly marvellous place for lunch or pizza. The coffee is super. Small cups not buckets, milk at the right temperature. Great cakes.

What a find!! We had decided to pass on the Giants Causeway cafe and headed for Ballycastle. We passed this on the way and pulled in, what a good move! We had tea (fantastic), scones and shared a "fifteen" tray bake. Food was outstanding, service was friendly, the vibes were great (a bluegrass workshop had just started in the next room). The toilet facilities were very clean and well presented. Couldn't have been a better experience all round.

After visiting Giants Causeway and refusing to line National Trust’s pockets any further by using their cafe, we stopped here for some coffee and cake refreshments and weren’t disappointed. Clearly very popular and busy but good choice, attentive staff and clean loos.

Both appears on the road somewhere between Ballintoy and Bushmills. For a Friday morning mid July it was very busy with both sides of the car park quite full. The queue did not take too long to subside and once it did the staff were really lovely. We only ordered tea and tray-bakes. The tray-bakes were quite big for the price and really nice too. My favourite thing about Bothy was it’s look and feel. Would definitely call in the next time I’m up that direction.

heard great things about this place and we were excited to go try it. However when we arrived the staff seemed exhausted and fed up after a busy lunch shift. All the not food was gone and we were not greeted with a smile or helpful attitude. We actually felt unwelcome. There was no female toilet in use or baby change. We ordered two cans and traybakes (we weren't even offered a glass with ice so just drank out of cans). I do have to say the traybakes were delicious. However none of the outside tables where we were sitting had been cleared of the previous customers mugs/plates etc very dirty floor and definitely more than a couple dead flies over table. You always remember the way people make you feel and for this reason more than the other complaints we would not rush back.

Had a good experience here at new year but have tried 3 times since and find it difficult to get it open. Tried today again in the middle of a heat wave and the road crammed with tourists but closed. Couldn't recommend it . Providing a coherent service doesn't appear to be in their remit.

The whole style is very nice and comfortable. I loved the buns that I had, plus they had a good variety of drinks to chose from. My parents had a bacon and egg brioche roll, which they really liked! I had a mallow brownie, and the other day some ice cream. We will definitely come back to Bothy!!!! Jack, aged 11

The enlarged car park is good news but don't expect to be served coffe when they are busy. My friends and I met here on Saturday 26 August around 3.25 and and found the place busy but table space still available. There were four folk in front of us in the queue so it give time to gazing at the cakes and bakes and decide which we wanted - they all llooked lovely. Five minutes later we had arrived at the top of the queue and asked for coffee. The server told us they were not taking any more coffee orders as they were backed up with them! We left.
