Truly the best grilled cheese, or toasties, I have ever eaten!!! So good!! The bread was crusty, and the cheese!! Crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. It doesn’t get any better for comfort food!! Our group tried the #1 & #3; all amazing. Get the pickles. The jalapeños aren’t very spicy, though I’d have been happy if they were. The kids had the kids sandwich and they also were very pleased. LOVE this place!! The market is fantastic as well. So many yummy things available to make your next meal very special. I wish I lived next door!

We ate here on a 1 night stay in Bushmills and the pizzas were absolutely excellent. The crust was so thin and crispy, one of the best we've ever had. There were a couple of stools in the shop, so we ate inside and the young man behind the counter was so friendly. We highly recommend this place.

What a spot!! An absolute hidden gem. Staff were all really lovely, beautiful view from the tables and the food...superb. We had the daube of beef and a chicken stack. We certainly weren't hungry!! Highly highly recommend, it's not often you get top quality food for such a reasonable price

Was watching the weather as the wind was very strong and it's blowing everything out on the road. Just have a look at the water coming up from a long way.

Found this charming place by chance on the way to the giants causeway. Walked in to a lovely warm welcome from the members of staff. Found a quite little spot to the right of the door , it was like a little snug room with beautiful views of the sea . We arrived just before the lunch menu but staff were very accommodating and let us order straight away. Good came very quickly and was lovely and fresh . We all had the chicken burger and chips which was such good quality and very reasonably in price . The hot chocolate was so yummy too . Staff were very friendly and felt like we had known them for a while. They have a lovely place out the back with a pizza oven and more places to sit with dogs too . The place gets very busy but it is definitely worth the wait. The cakes were calling our name to take them away for later so it was rude not to have a few . Plenty of places to park . Would definitely come back and again and would recommend if anyone is driving along the coastline. Customer service was 10/10 .

I love a good farm shop and this is a good farm shop! It has great produce from their own farm and other bits and pieces from across the island. There is so much more to it than a farm shop with tours, supper clubs etc, check out the website. We did buy some produce, burgers, sausages and goat chops which I am very much looking forward to cooking and eating. Well worth the trip!

Fantastic gem of a find after a long day sightseeing in the area! Gorgeous quality home-cooked Irish food which is a real treat nowadays - staff very welcoming and place is spotless! Lovely coffee, wine and cake also.

Lovely place and lovely people, very accommodating to our needs as one of our party was a wheelchair user. Food fantastic to. Will definitely be back.

Last minute booking on a Sunday evening and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent, and staff were extremely friendly. Woupd highly.recommend; suitable for all occasions; families / couples / groups. A great spot.

We booked here because we had such a lovely Christmas dinner here in December 2024. The quality of the food and service was even better. It was fully booked, but the service didn’t feel rushed or slow as often happens. The food was excellent, everyone was happy with their meal, a rarity! We had mains and puddings and the presentation was perfect, all of the food was delicious and combinations well thought out. We will return!

We just spent a couple of days in Ballintoy and the Carrick-a-rede bar was one of the highlights. We were staying at another hotel in the town, but the food and service there were a real disappointment. We were feeling a bit annoyed, but made our way over to The Carrick-a-rede, hoping it would be better. It certainly was! We (and our dog) were made to feel exceedingly welcome by the attentive and affable barman, Niall. The bar was warm and cozy and we got a seat next to the roaring turf fire. We made friends with another couple in the bar and as you often do, found we knew people in common. So, an initially disappointing first day of the holiday turned out to be pretty good. We went in the next day for a meal and couldn't have been more pleased. My wife got the bangers and mash and I got the cod and chips - the food was excellent, and again, the service was efficient and friendly. (Both times we were in, our dog got a bowl of water). To top it off, it was far more reasonably priced than the "other place." Ballintoy is a beautiful place to visit, but make sure you top off your sight-seeing with a visit to the Carrick-a-rede bar - you won't be disappointed.
