Bothy White Park Bay in Moyle

This was such a fun afternoon stop on our long journey!

Visited here as it was recommended as well as being on our journey along the coast. When we arrived, there was a queue that started outside (which is not a problem). So we started queuing, as were waiting, many servers were busy walking in and out to clean tables, bring food etc. Out of the 3 people we saw, 2 of them saw my partner and I waiting with our little pup as we had to pull his lead in to make sure they had space to walk in and out of the door. So we queued for about 10 mins and then we were served, as my partner made the payment, I was scouting for a table, I initially wanted the fireside table but there was a cat sleeping on one of the chairs and I did not want my pup to disturb it. So, I ended up sitting on a corner table. All fine fine, we had out cold drinks on the table and then our coffee and bakes came out. Again, it was fine and we had just finished the bake and started sipping our coffees (which were lovely btw!) when a server came out and quite abruptly told us that we can't have a dog inside and we'd need to move to the outside, covered area. I had said that no-one told us about this and I was just about to say there is a whole entire cat right behind her, but she cut me off to say 'there are signs on the door'. I was baffled, the then walked away and there was no help in brining our coffee to the table outside, we were just expected to pick up out two cold drinks, our two hot drinks and our bags. Moving on, we sat outside (beautifully decorated) and waited quite a long time while seeing others how came much later than us being served first. My partner went in to see what the craic was and found out that the original person who took the order did not ask for a table or a name therefore the order was just sitting around? A manager dealt with it and we later got our food, the food itself was good. i can't complain about the food not the coffee. it was more so the service of being seen with a dog but no comments made, being told to move with no help and a slice of rudeness and then being told to move knowing there is another animal right next to us? we will not be returning.

Great place super busy on Saturday mornings be prepared to wait for a seat. If you're American and looking for a drip coffee the americano is SUPER strong. If you like light coffee you're better off getting a latte. Photo is after 6 sugars and a full dram of milk

A regular frequenter of bothy when on the north coast. Always find the staff pleasant and happy to help. The cinnamon rolls are to die for, coupled with a flat white with unreal art work. Will be back again no doubt

This place is an absolute must. The flatt white is delicious, as is the selected sandwich - special of the day. Atmosphere, ambiance, friendly staff, everything is right. It is busy, many locals come. If you are in the area, I advise you to come here for a cup of coffee.

Superb welcoming and excellent food

We spent a week traveling around Northern Ireland this was our favorite cafe of the entire trip. It's an easy drive from Carrick-a-Rede, Giants Causeway, and most places along the NE coast, but honestly I'd drive an hour to eat there. You order and pay at the counter and can eat in any of the cafes spaces. We really liked the covered area behind the restaurant with grapevines growing overhead. Everyone was very pleasant and smiling, despite it being exceptionally busy, and the halloumi and chorizo dish was STELLAR. I also loved the pancakes. Pancakes aren't usually very special, but these were delicious. It was all so good we went back the next day too!

Visited this place for the first time during a break up the North Coast and ended up being there three times within one week! Soaked up the relaxing atmosphere and just sat there for ages eating, drinking coffee and chatting! Food lovely and totally recommend the unreal Cinnamon Buns!😋 Love the quirkiness of the place and staff were friendly and very helpful😊 Can't wait to go back again!

Best breakfast I’ve possibly ever had!! Got the halloumi meal with eggs and chorizo and hot honey. Great coffee and the food was very quick to arrive. Lovely lovely treat along the coastal causeway. Website says closed Mondays but it was open on Monday 5th August thankfully!

This wee place is a hidden gem. The view is outstanding! Loved the decor and the relaxed atmosphere. We only went in for coffee and buns but will definitely be back. It was just so nice sitting there admiring the view in a relaxed atmosphere drinking coffee and chilling

Our vintage club based in Coleraine thought it would be nice to have a run to the Bothy, Whitepark Bay for a pizza night and would give them advanced notice. So two weeks ago (3rd July) I rang to book and ended up speaking to Holly who said she was the manager. She explained that that there was already a party of thirty booked in but they could should be able to accommodate us. I suggested that she pencil us in and she agreed. Then she said "Oh, I'll just book you in now". I said That's great and she replied "That's you booked in!". So you can imagine my surprise when twelve of us turned up and the young waitress told us that we were not booked! I asked to speak to Holly but although she was there she did not appear. Instead some nasty little man who said he was the owner, came out and said that I had not confirmed. I explained that I had confirmed with Holly two weeks ago, but all he could say was that people make mistakes. I told him that it was not our mistake because I had rang Holly from our Chairman's office and he had heard the whole conversation. There was no apology, they were neither helpful or accommodating, Holly needs to get her act together and the owner needs to get some people skills. Our group included six men in their 70s, a visitor from Australia and an MBE.

We took a hard impromptu left for coffee. Great cappacino, but the coffee didn't hit the spot for me. Maybe the milk, maybe just me...more an italian no4 or 5 roast myself. Incredible food menu, lovely staff and loads of covered seating. Lots of parking.

This is a fantastic coffee shop - the potato & leek soup is genuinely the best I’ve ever eaten and the iced cinnamon bun was also incredible. Lovely covered seating area out the back & staff great, very friendly. A brilliant spot - highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and friendly service

This is the best latte I’ve had so far in Ireland, the chips are just delicious and the bacon roll is to die for. Highly recommend you stop at this place.

We only had coffee but it's in a lovely spot, staff were friendly and the coffee was good.

Lady on till was very hostile. A couple were standing back perusing the menu and as I approached to order, she abruptly stopped me stating that the couple were first. The couple looked like they had to decide no matter what! When I gave my order, her response was abrupt with no customer friendly vibe. My guests were from Canada and I didn't want to make a fuss but had I been alone I would have made my feelings known. Food was mediocre - not worth indulging such bad reception from staff. When will hospitality realise that they are there for the customer not the reverse? Why does this establishment think otherwise? Will not be back

They are so nice and the pastries are very fancy and good! One of us forgot to tell them that we wanted our latte to go so we ended up with one in a mug by accident, so the guy said he would make us another one when we were leaving (super nice of him). Everything is super local, food came very fast, super friendly, perfect poached eggs, cannot recommend enough.

Set on road near white park bay on the north coast. Excellent spot with good car parking spaces. Place is beautiful inside and food first class. This is a regular stop when out this way. Highly recommend

Not a good restaurant! It's open until 5pm but by 4pm there's nothing left to eat. Just drive by

Was greeted by an unfriendly and aggressive young man. Drove.a Long way to go as it was dog friendly. I asked where was the sunniest place to sit and was told to have a look. I did and sat in the porch as only one table outside gets the sun, it has wooden bench seats which are not comfortable and face the road.I was told that dogs were not allowed inside by the same man so put the dog in the car with windows open in shade. Then I saw other dogs out the back in a covered area so moved and got my food the unhelpful man did not mention this area .I ordered a salad which was lovely but not worth £10 the chips and fish burgers were much better value. I went to order coffee but the queue was long a waitress offered to get the coffee how sweet. I went to pay and the rude man got me a cake. I explained Again i had had the cake and the coffee and wanted to pay at which point he snapped ok ok at me. I assume the waitress had told him I was not happy with his attitude. He then snapped you have not paid so I put my card on the machine again and asked the nice waitress if she could take the money as he was so rude he said I’d been rude to him as I’d said I thought the covered area was inside. I would suggest if you are in a public facing role it is a good idea to say hello when people visit and smile not scowl and maybe listen to customers!

An exquisite experience. The cozy atmosphere with its wood stove and leather sofas adds a warm and cocooning touch. It was a perfect time to relax and enjoy admiring the sea view between 2 visits. I recommend the cinnamon rolls which for me remain the best ever! THANKS !

Watch out for the flat bread and chilli beef, it will hurt your eyes. You'll hurt your eyes looking for the beef.

Great casual friendly atmosphere, best cinnamon swirls in the world and a range of reasonably priced food and drinks. A must visit place up the North Coast. Updated 2023...love the place more with each vsiit. Pizza nights are a must - fabulous pizza and great atmosphere with live music. Staff so friendly and a lovely homely feel about the place. Love it. Updated 2024...still as good as ever. Absolutely love this place and the great staff that make it a must visit place on every trip to the North Coast.

Order from the counter from a range of hot or cold foods. Plenty of space to sit inside and outside. Perfect for a stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Cozy café that invites you to linger in rainy weather. Ate delicious pancakes, scones and cinnamon rolls. Particularly recommended: Smokey Joe loaded fries from the daily menu!

Very nice cafe just before the Giants Causeway attraction. A clear recommendation! The food and drinks were really great! The café is very busy, so you have to take some time here.

This coffee shop was an amazing place to visit while on our trip and the staff there were the best ones I’ve seen yet, they were nice and were able to make some good coffee.

have been to bothy for coffee before but today decided to visit with my beloved and indulge in the food. you already know we both had to get that bothy brioche! it was class loved the rocket and chilli jam. not sure how i felt about them stocking asher’s bakery but hey ho i didn’t have to eat it! service was utterly stellar and out of this world and coffee was gorg. love the interior did not love the girl sitting beside us but ack that’s not bothy’s fault at all. what an amazing brekkie!

So cute and the service and food were fantastic! We got a coffee and snack after visiting the local sites. It hit the spot being cozy and satisfying. The treats were delicious !

Poor selection of food. Coffe served in small cups definitely wouldn't call it a regular coffee or large American. Rather a small coffee. Not somewhere I would go to again.

Lovely place to stop after a hike to warm up but anyone looking for vegan options should avoid. Staff at till were lovely when I asked about vegan options, and was told they could make the ‘Roast Veg Focaccia’ vegan… so I bought that at £8.95. When the food arrived at my table I had to go up and double check my food was vegan, as it had sauces and cheese on it which didn’t look vegan… I was informed it was mayo, dairy, etc. They took it away and returned 5 mins later with a piece of toast, topped with roasted peppers and a small amount of rocket on top. It felt like someone just threw it together to get rid of the annoying customer. Again, the staff on the counter were lovely, but if you are a hungry vegan, I’d avoid Bothy!

Fantastic Coffee and delicious Food

A lovely little spot to enjoy a bite and a cup of coffee on a chilly winter day! We were driving by in the middle of a rainstorm and couldn’t help but stop - this place is so cozy! Got a scone and apple fritter to eat and a coffee to drink. The latte was a bit weak for my taste, could hardly taste the espresso! But I like strong coffee. The raspberry white chocolate scone is a must-try.

A really lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy a coffee. I didn't try any of the restaurant food but it looked tasty. The staff have created a super friendly environment and you feel very welcome. A cozy spot to split up any travels along the Causeway Coast.

In terms of atmosphere, my wife and I feel this was the most authentic, warm and inviting coffee shop in our trip through Northern Ireland. The London Fog was the best I’ve ever had. V60 (poor-over coffee) wasn’t on the menu, but they made it for my wife and she loved it. Food was high quality and tasted great.

I hate when you pay for a coffee and it’s rotten. Bothy Coffee is always amazing 🤩. Was very busy when we went a couple of days ago and not much choice of food on the menu. We had coffee and a cake, which was nice. There’s a pizza oven out in the back garden, we never seem to time it right that it’s in use.

Nice menu, but had run out of our first 2 choices. They do not cater for gluten free. They didn't even have gluten free bread to have with eggs, which is very poor. Unfortunate because it's a quirky spot, we were disappointed.

Came here with a group of 12 and they were very accommodating and served us all delicious food in a timely manner. Staff very helpful!

Great coffee, yummy food and cakes! A perfect place to sit for an hour or two for coffee, brunch or lunch

All the food we got for lunch was really good. Soup, Philly steak sandwich, chicken ceaser sandwich and various buns and cake, all really tasty and fresh. The coffee was very good too according to both of my daughters who are both trained baristas. The café itself has a relaxing feel with interesting decor. Definitely well worth a visit. It can be quite busy so prepare to queue at busy times.
