Amazing restaurant. I had an epic burger. A vegan home made spicy beans on sourdough with avocado for the missus. She was delighted, as were the kids. My eldest had a kids portion of the chicken curry and cleaned the plate. The coffees were really really good. The lemon meringue only lasted a few seconds. Will definitely be back. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

I travel 45 miles to eat here. I get the belly buster. Absolute bargain for the 18 pieces you get. Only £11. Service is extremely friendly. Nice wee café.

Very cosy pub and cheap prices. We asked for tap water with the pints and they’ve brought a jar and glasses with ice and lemon, much more than expected! Definitely coming back soon

Went for lunch with my wife and son. Staff were super attentive upon arrival and seated within minutes. Drinks ordered and order placed all within 5-10 minutes of being seated. The wife went for the special which was salted chili bites with skin on skinny fries and side salad, son had sausages and chips and I had bacon, brie and red onion marmalade panini with skinny fries coleslaw and side salad. Picture below. Overall total was around £30 which wasn't too bad for two big plates of lunch and coke zero and child's lunch. Highly would recommend The Secret Garden to anyone looking for a high quality meal in the Dundonald area.

We attended Browns Bonds Hill on 26th Saturday night, the atmosphere was pleasant, a good buzz about the restaurant. Went for the tasting menu with wine. Staff very friendly and attentive. Wine was good but not exceptional, as was the food, but certainly no complaints. only one small downer to the evening was that our daughter had bought us a £50 voucher, unfortunately we had a major fire in our house and the voucher was lost. Even though we had proof of purchase, suddenly Browns turned into a corporate restaurant, and even the suggestion of a discount possibly for a future meal was met with the computer says no reaction. This being our third tasting menu meal at your restaurant, unfortunately I think will be our last. kind Regards Jon Wilson

Group of us had dinner in Quaywest on a busy Saturday night. Got our table on time @8pm for a group of nine. Two minutes after we eere seated , server was hovering around table. Not a bad complaint necessarily, but waited nearly twenty five minutes on drinks order, had to ask several times to see where they were. Food was good . However asked for extra Marie Rose sauce when starter was sever and was given a dirty look and it never arrived.

Popped in to buy a take away scone When I opened it up the scone wasn’t much deeper than a pancake and felt and tasted very dry and stale I had chosen a fruit scone and all the fruit was distributed round edges leaving the middle completely fruit free. The edges were also overcooked The scone sadly was not enjoyable to eat. Not sure I’d be buying a scone from here again Bit disappointed Perhaps not a freshly baked scone?? Their tray-bakes on the other hand are usually exceptional

4 friends for lunch and always found The Ava great. We spent over £200 ....hd lunch laughs and tears, as my Sister is ill and we all needed a chat. We were told to be quiet, by a young guy behind the bar... Really.... the place was dead very quiet Then told our table was reserved.... can we leave. Unbelievable....they took our booking for 14th December, but we will not be BACK. WHERE are all the old staff. Place is a joke Ps I've laughed at The Ritz , The Shard The Merchant..... The Ava pmsl
