What a name and what a place.. These guys take their coffee very seriously 😊 I was very impressed. Really, really good coffee in here so be sure to visit!

Relaxing, calm place for a coffee and a wee rest.

It's great to find independent coffee shops, especially those that open on a Sunday afternoon. We were quite late so not much in the way of savoury food left but the sausage rolls and tray bakes were tasty, the pot of tea was a good size, nice coffee. All with a great atmosphere with friendly staff and quirky decor. Worth a repeat visit!

This is by far Armagh's best coffee shop, and yep, I've tried them all. Delicious coffee, tasty snacks, relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff - what more could you want? It's now my go-to place any time I'm in the city centre.

Nipped in and had a cappuccino and latte on our way home. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. They had a competition on who could do the best art on the coffee. The heart won. The coffee is locally roasted and tastes amazing. I would highly recommend a visit.

I was really enjoying my time in this coffee shop- the first waitress couldnt be more helpful. But later when I asked if they had anything gluten free they said they were out of the packeted options but they had biscuits- these biscuits were beautifully nestled in the middle of non gluten free brownies and covered in crumbs. When I suggested that they present them one waitress told me in a slightly hostile manner that these were for the vegans... I said again if you presented them separately I could purchase them- I was then told that there were still people who ate gluten free who could by them and it was the owner/manager that put them out so from my experience craid'd is great at catering for lifestyle choices but not medical conditions. The trio of waitresses were very talkative together and not very focused on cleaning up.

Visited during the evening, great range of fresh bun and staff friendly 😁 nice to see a cafe open after hours and good vibe.

We arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday evening. Fairly busy with most tables taken (good to see) ordered our drinks. Two hot chocolates, one with soya milk. Soya milk came in a mug, the regular one came in a take away cup. Which is fine and that's how they tell the difference in the drinks I guess. We also had two macarons. Tasted fine and as expected. The table we sat down on had previous customers cups and plates. Which would be fine except when we walked in the three staff where behind the counter and all people served so it could have been cleaned before we sat down. On the whole it was a dead on experience. Minor issues and I'm nit picking to be fair. It's a busy spot and probably one of a few that stay open late midweek in town.

It was my first time visiting Armagh and I would solely go back just for this coffee shop. Loved the vibe, the staff was super nice, I got 2 cappuccino’s which were great (I sat in so I got coffee to have there and I absolutely loved the cups). I also got a sausage roll and loved that they had different ones. I got the pork and chili which was lovely, next time I want to try the chorizo. They also have a vegan range which is great for vegans. They have some seating range. Either tables, high chairs or couches.

I love this coffee shop, the coffee is great, the cakes are delicious but it's the atmosphere that sets it above any other. Always a warm welcome, a cheery bit of Craic, a wee bit of tourist information, a bit of local history. Nothing is to much trouble for these guys. You want another coffee, sure just stay where you are and ill bring it over, Wonderful place

We’ve been going here regularly over the last few years but on nearly every occasion over the last month the cappuccino’s were essentially cold which has been quite disappointing. It would appear to be an issue with younger inexperienced staff?? Hopefully management can look into it and rectify it as we enjoy visiting here for a coffee and bun.

Craic'd pot is a wonderful gathering place, often open when other places are closed. Only thing I'd love to add is more savoury options.

Hi. Have been going to craic'd pot for years in morning time coffee and staff excellent. But with work shift change started going in evening time. The coffee tasted burned,milk sour taste. And staff rude standing in 2s or 3 of them standing talking and ignoring customers. As if your just interrupting there conversation. Any way give it a miss but this is the fourth evening I've come in and coffee really bad and staff really rude. Asked for cream to take out with cake , went out to car it was just water went back in, and they said they ran out of cream but still charged me £2.00 for it. Asked for money back and she just set £2.00 on counter and walled away, she knew when putting cream in tub it was empty so why give it out. Sad because a really good place. Think staff need retrained.and watched for a while .

Called in with a friend on a very busy Saturday afternoon (Georgian Day). Was just in for a coffee/hot chocolate and wasn't disappointed with the taste. Lovely sweet treats and the food on offer looked good. Had a delicious kinder cheesecake.

Coffee was good and hot but the hot chocolate tends to be a bit cold. The traybakes we bought (salted caramel brownie and rice crispie bun) were delicious. Nice, cosy atmosphere inside but can feel crowded very quickly. One of my favourite spots in Armagh.

First time in Craic'd and it's definitely worth a trip. Got the usual flat white and a cappuccino. Coffee very good as were the jammy dodger and fifteens traybakes. Also got a pork and chorizo sausage roll which was delicious. Plenty of seating available in the cafe too.

My son loves it here, always asks can we go when we're at a loose end. Food and drinks are well priced and the staff are friendly and happy to help..

This place makes, without doubt, the best coffee in Armagh. I had about 6 V60s across the few days I was there and we chatted about what I wanted out of each cup (sweetness, bitterness, something fruity ect) and without fail Jesse pulled amazing cups. The snacks were very good too (trg the jammy dodger blondie). Cozy atmosphere and hugely friendly staff make this a must visit place. I'd consider coming back to Armagh just to visit this place.

Visited for a coffee, but have noticed on multiple occasions, some staff just socializing among themselves, dirty tables left and no excuses as there were enough staff to keep on top of it . Read other reviews about how" quirky or cool" this place is but tend to disagree. All in all, the decor is a confused mish mash of traditional ie gold framed pictures,yet others with pictureless empty frames and a horrific mockery of a Johannes Vermeer masterpiece the " the girl with the pearl earring only this girl is blowing gum! Trying to hard to be "cool" and unique but does not really wash at all. A major tarnish for this establishment is the customer toilet.. on numerous occasions , absolutely filthy and a disgrace that customers are expected to use such a facility.. Last time in I seen a dirty mop and bucket with dirty water still in bucket left in corner of the loo beside door..fixtures and fittings everywhere were dust and grime caked and sides of toilet filthy and as well as floor and window..looks like it's never cleaned properly..how on earth does the staff not notice...???well the reason being they are too interested in socializing among themselves and not paying attention to the details as in providing a clean customer focused environment. If I was the owner, I would have them dismissed anyhow. How can you allow a customer toilet to reach such a state..To do it right, staff should be checking hourly and have clipboard checklist and signature of staff with each staff taking responsibility but obviously not this place . Other cafes and establishments I observed, and in particular Armagh hotel toilets with far bigger footfall of people are spotless because they check ✔️ and clean them properly. I shall never be back at this pretentious establishment which is not " cool" at all, unless one thinks what I mentioned above constitutes as cool and acceptable and quality customer focused establishment. Not by a long shot..will never be back! The attached photos don't lie.. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone again! . Far superior options elsewhere.

Great selection of traybakes. I got a beautiful Jammie dodger Blondie and a cup of tea. Reasonably priced and good long opening hours which is hard to find when it comes to coffee shops. Not an awful lot of tables but would go back!

Take away coffee and a treat! Lovely friendly service and nice coffee! The staff were efficient and cheerful! After not having a great lunch elsewhere it restored my faith that service staff could be friendly 😊

Lovely place. I Needed a place to get a coffee while waiting to pick up my son from football in the evening, I tried Costa at Spires and was told they could only do take away and no sit-in. So I went to the Craic'd pot instead. Glad I did. Much nicer feel to the place than the formulaic Costa outlet. Have been going there ever since. The Coffee is grand. I tend to go here in early evening. While not jam packed at this time there are usually enough people there to create the sense of a vibrant place, yet relaxed enough when seated to just take a break and enjoy a coffee.

Amazing atmosphere and the staff have plenty of craic and very welcoming, always a treat to stop in for a coffee and some cake.

Service sells. You can have a mediocre product but great service and they’ll always come back and love it. You can have mediocre service and a great product but you’ll dwindle. These guys have a great product (the coffee foam art is incredible, come just for that) and really great service. I don’t know any of the two guys serving but we’re friends it feels.

The Craic’d Pot was recommended to us by a shop owner and we’re so glad we stopped by. The ambience is inviting as well as a bit quirky and the staff could not be friendlier. Coffee and a multitude of locally made bakery items were delicious. You can sink into a leather sofa or small table and chairs and take your time enjoying your snack. I wish we had a place like this at home!

It’s my first time in Northern Ireland, and was visiting a friend in Armagh. I decided to take a stroll through the beautiful streets full of old world charm and stumbled across this place. First off… how can you not love the name? “Craic’d Pot” As I walk in I am greeted by the rustic charm. The atmosphere is is perfect and makes you feel right at home. You could stay all day. Just a few steps in I was warmly greeted by two very kind baristas who not only know their coffee, but will talk with you like your old friends. Oh yea the coffee. Perfectly made and delicate taste. Evening buying some to take home. Y’all got to try this place!

Called in here for a wee cuppa tea due to being down that way to pick a table .... place was cosy & packed staff was helpful everything looked great on the menu but wee settled for a saug roll n cake each it was beautiful .... Next time wee call down pass wee will b sure to call in again

I come here every Monday morning, I love the environment. The baked goods and coffee are amazing and the staff are very nice and help to create such a welcoming environment in there, I always look forward to my weekly visits 11/10

On a recent day trip to Armagh last weekend we stopped here for coffee. Served by very nice guy, friendly and gave us great information on the area. Coffee super but the raspberry and white chocolate cake is to die for. Whoever baked it, knows how to bake! Lovely comfy seating, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Visited here during the week whilst on holidays in the area. Fantastic little place. Coffee was excellent & the place feels the way a proper coffee shop should feel like. Relaxing, comforting, welcoming. Staff were very friendly & helpful. In fact we loved it so much, we came back again another day.

Armagh has in my previous experience been really poor in terms of vegan options, but no more! Great choice of coffee, a vegan brownie and German biscuit to choose from (the latter was amazing), friendly staff and pleasing decor. Next time I'm in Armagh I'll definitely be back.
