Arose Coffee Shop in Armagh

Went tonight for their Twighlight Tea. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Hot Chocolate was great! I would highly recommend it to anyone. 😀 Edit have been many times after and is one of the best places... their brownies are the best I have ever tasted and all their other food is very tasty too. 100% would recomend!

Have to say what a great service...food was fantastic and the selection provided went down very well with my guests..especially when it was prepared to be collected Thanks very much to all the staff at the arose coffee shop..this will be a reoccurring event in the future.

Garden centre is very good. We have had coffee and scone many times in the coffee shop. On this occasion I was charged £1 for a pot of hot water. When I queried the cost I was told it was because I had a tea pot. I neither needed or asked for a teapot, a little jug would have done. I have my coffee black, my husband doesn’t he wasn’t charged for the milk he had in his coffee. Beware milk is free hot water expensive, we shall never visit this coffee shop again They may have made a £1 but it will cost them any future patronage.

Best latte in NI! Traybakes are always fresh and nice too.

Surrounded by beautiful orchards and shared a building with a quaint and substantial garden center. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed (in our opinion) some of the best gougons money can buy in NI, along with beautifully cooked homemade chips. The decor is floral and homely, with some lovely piano arrangements playing over the speakers, this place has a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed our visit, my wife even topped up on her crochet wool stocked at the garden Center. Do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk.

I found Arose coffee shop a very warm & welcoming place to visit & the staff are very friendly.

Stopped at Arose Coffee Shop for brunch before a visit to the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium. We had the Brioche breakfast consisting of a brioche bun, 2 Pinkertons bacon rashers, 2 sausages, hash brown and a fried egg. Lovely and tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend the food. Garden centre well stocked with spring plants.

Great place. We stopped for lunch (two girls under 10 and my wife). The girls got the pancake stack and described it as “magnificent”.

Exceptional service, very good soup, don't bother asking what it is, it will be delicious. Good value and alround great quality

Called again today for coffee and treats. As always the food on offer was amazing, the very best scones and the choice of tray bakes second to none. Staff are amazing friendly and welcoming. This is a go to spot for coffee, breakfast and treats. Well done Freda and Sharon and team

We called in after shopping at the garden centre which is great. Lovely shop as with all sorts of items in it, great place to browse or buy. The cafe is green, green & yet more green. The tables, the chairs, the crockery!, Too much. Cups have very small handles. Tables in rows like a dinner hall. The decor is old fashioned , plastic flowers everywhere. The flooring is very nice. The staff are all great, courteous & helpful. The food served is mostly very good & well presented. Can recommend the sausage rolls & the chutney served with them is delicious. The decor lets this place down.

Passing after attending a service in Armagh, we stopped for lunch. All ordered soup which was described as vegetable. Have to say it tasted more like carrot and coriander. I also ordered a sandwich. All were tasty and fresh the ladies had to browse around the shop. Have been here before and always been busy.

Call yesterday at lunch time, we had the most amazing sausage roll! I have never tasted better, well worth a visit. The girls are so pleasant and friendly, definitely well worth a trip. Can’t wait till they fully opened up!

Visited the place two days ago with my son to see the pampkins. It was my first visit and have to admit it is great garden centre with lovely plants, unusual fabric shop inside and the Halloween theme was good the only thing that put me off was the coffee shop where I bought kinder bueno square and was given a pice that had burnt edge and the rest of it was quite hard to bite (not nice at all) so I couldn't give it to my 4 year old but charged the full price for it. Bit disappointing.

We had a ‘small’ breakfast here yesterday: the eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon, sausage, tomato, potato bread and soda bread were more then enough for us. The staff were efficient and friendly.
