The best restaurants in Northern Ireland

Looking for takeaway in Portadown and came across here. Excellent gyros, just like Greece, and very friendly family running it. Owner told us about how they cure their own sausages and so on. Highly recommended surprise find.

Great food. Pizza's excellent. Burgers are unreal absolutely amazing. Love the decor of this place. Staff are so friendly helpful and great with the customers

Elaine is the bomb. She recommended the best fish and chips. Beer and dessert. I am coming back again for sure. The fish was super fresh and the batter was homemade.

It’s on a steep hill, it’s on a corner, with very little car - parking close by. It’s narrow inside with table space limited to only a few diners and it’s a shared space with a bicycle sales and repair shop. The servers are ace friendly and it delivers up tasty well - filled savoury crepes at very good value. There’s lots of other offerings too, mostly sweet based, ice creams, lots of jars of sweets, milkshakes, sweet crepes, waffles, omelettes and so on. Not much to add. It’s a great spot offering just what we like at fair prices. Two huge savoury crepes with 3 fillings, no skimping, and two large cappuccinos £17.5. We even got a few free sweets from a Roses tin with our coffees. Worth supporting and delightfully enjoyable.

If your ever visiting st George's market in Belfast, try a smoothie from Dabo smoothies. I highly recommend the lime and ginger shots. Ten out of ten.

Escuché sobre un nuevo lugar para desayunar en el este, ¡así que yo y las chicas tuvimos que probarlo! Las primeras impresiones fueron fantásticas, una cálida bienvenida, limpia, fresca y luminosa. El menú es único y todos tuvimos problemas para decidir. Como criatura de costumbre, elegí los huevos del Atlántico, probablemente la mejor salsa holandesa que he probado en mi vida. Tengo que mencionar que el chef personalmente salió y nos sirvió nuestra comida. Un toque tan pequeño pero efectivo. ¡Definitivamente he encontrado mi nuevo lugar para ir a desayunar! Sage is such a rare find. We dropped in for a cuppa and ended up getting some lunch- the most delicious homemade vegan beans on toast followed by a whopping slice of Black Forest Gateau- a gooey, sticky masterpiece. I was thrilled to see an new space like this, open to meditation nights, refloxology and creative arts and crafts. I look forward to visiting Sage again and would certainly advise anyone in Warrenpoint to do the same. The cherry on the top was that view- oustanding. A warm atmosphere with welcoming staff- Looking forward to seeing what events take place here in the summer!

Ordered a large mixed kebab and beef kebab on bread with the house sauce! Quite simply the best kebab we have ever had in Belfast. Dare I even say that it is nicer than the famous Sphinx kebabs!!! Highly recommend

Auntie Anne's freshly baked Pretzels and Pizzas are to die for, they are awesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even suggested one of their coffees which my partner did and it tasted good. Would recommend Auntie Anne's to anyone while out shopping, its the perfect pick me up...

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos en un pub y bar dando vueltas por esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos dejar caer en este Greggs y que experiencia tan positiva tuvimos. Un Greggs de gran aspecto , interior es soberbio, mostradores de servicio con frente de cristal muestran las golosinas que se ofrecen, decoración y mobiliario encantador y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este Greggs , es sólo un punto de venta de comida rápida realmente bueno. Pedimos una rebanada de pizza cada uno y un pastel de queso y cebolla, el servicio fue rápido, agarramos una mesa donde comimos nuestras comidas que estaban totalmente deliciosas y justo lo que necesitábamos para prepararnos para unas buenas horas. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras comidas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz para una primera visita a este Greggs en particular nos quedamos totalmente impresionados. Este Greggs es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Castle Lane. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a viernes, abierto de 7 am. Sábado, abierto a partir de las 7. 30 am. Domingo, abierto a partir de las 9 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Delicious variety of icecream cakes, desserts, and other treats. Home delivery of beautifully decorated and presented party cake. Was much enjoyed by our 16 guests.

A pleasant place for lunch where you least expect it. You don't have to take the Gaol tour to eat here, although you need to watch the signs. The dining room is awkwardly arranged but the experience was otherwise fine. The service the prompt and attentive. The menu is quite varied. I ordered the salmon, mostly because I'd already had a bit too much that had been fried or deep-fried during my visit. The fish was nicely done and had good flavor, served with steamed vegetables and rice. The prices are reasonable and the only problem I'd mention is the need to tip in cash.
