Café incredABLE @ South Lake in Craigavon

Travelling from Edinburgh to Belfast International and then to Craigavon, we needed breakfast and found Kate’s. 5 stars all round! I really hope that Kate decides to open an Edinburgh equivalent soon!

I’ve been in Palomo a number of times and their food is always beautiful and I honestly can not complain about the food. However the customer service on this occasion was terrible. I was there to meet with a friend for a chat and the service was lovely and friendly. We actually commented how friendly the waitress was. Our table got cleared as we were finished our coffees so we felt it was time to free up the table. It was busy and I get that. When I went to pay I was not told the total of the bill, just a card machine sat in front of me and when I said I wanted to pay cash the man responded with a sigh as if I was being awkward. No please or thank you. When I asked how much the bill was I was told the total but with an attitude I was being awkward again. I handed the cash to a waitress (took two people for me to pay) who worked there but when I was given my change I put my hand out to receive it but it was sat on the counter for me to lift, when my hand was perfectly visible for her to hand it to me. (I worked in a shop for years and people not handing you money when you put your hand out to receive it was always considered extremely rude.) No thank you or goodbye. Manners are free and it is a shame that the customer service is so bad here as the food has always been beautiful. After this experience I won’t be back.

Had an awful experience was really hungry so went to this almost local chippy . Was shocked .. soggy onion rings all soggy batted pastie falling apart with sogginess and chicken fillet burger burnt fully around the edges and very poor quality of chicken breast in the burger. This was to date my worst ever take away experience I can remember for years .

Burgers fall apart, need to use different buns. No forks for public to use Unbelievable.

Absolutely love comming here, the food is delicious the service is fast and pleasant and atmosphere is lovely.
