Great food but very busy best to phone ahead

Ordered a chicken wrap but it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a bit, so it went straight in the bin as I don’t want old Salmonella paying me a visit at 3am in the morning!! Lol. I always love PG chips at Wrights, but on this occasion they dropped the ball.

Staff were not friendly. The food was terrible, the gravy was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. It made both me and my dog sick. Will not be back.

I ordered a fish super, a fish, onion rings and a tub of curry sauce… The best fish and chips I have ever had in my 66yrs on the planet. Superb chips, just SUPERB.

Have tried this chain in three different outlets on a few different occasions and fair do's they are consistently terrible,understand why at dinnertime I was the only customer.

Ordered 2 fish suppers last Wednesday afternoon and they were fantastic. Big portions of both fish and chips, very flavourful and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were small kids in the shop ordering individually and the woman taking theirs orders was friendly, patient and polite to each of them, despite the shop being busy. What a great place to have in the community, this shop deserves all its trade.

Was impressed made an order 1 hrs b4 collection was there on time also had it pre paid and I stood there while they took orders of walking served them and left me waiting 45mins more on top of the 1 hour notice they got didn't even say sorry said they were busy but knowing they had served ones that had ordered after me while I was waiting for a pre order plus ended up was threw together definitely won't be back

Slow. Expensive. Small portions. App is useless. No apologies from staff. Avoid.

The food out of there is great.i don't usually get chippy food as they are usually not great.But this place I would highly recommend to any chippy food lover.

Always great tasting food. Their chips are the best!!! Been back many times Just been in again & thought for a change I'd have Scampi..... but ohhhh. Not Scampi!!! What is Scampi? Scampi is an Italian word which migrated all over Europe. In most countries, especially Italy, scampi means the peeled tail of pretty much any kind of prawn but in the UK it refers to the meat of just one special prawn: the langoustine. NO!!! I didn't get Scampi!!! Just very tasteless formed mush coated in breads! 😱😱 So disappointed. Won't order that again. Ugh!!!! Sorry PG Chips. Please make SCAMPI!!!

Ordered one chicken burger and a beef burger. I received chicken and beef burger all in one and a chicken burger. Even though the order was wrong ,it was really good Very well cooked and freshly cooked .. lovely food and wil definitely be back

Ordered a burger and chips. It was delicious. Like an old fashioned burger. Chips were crispy . V. Good.

In the area so I called for my favourite beef sausages, Takes about 10 minutes to cook but worth the wait. Very busy spot. And I enjoyed my sausages with red sauce and the free half dozen chips. Worth a visit.

Haven't went to PG for a long time as food was awful! Had got two bad meals from it so that was enough for us!!

Proper good tasty food. Best Burgers in Armagh.

This is one of the PG Chips branch situated in a busy filling station complex,known as Wrights on the Dungannon road out of Portadown and near enough the M1 junction. PG chips,as is here are clean and efficient and their food is non greasy. I love their beef sausages. They have the usual chippy menu. Al, good,but fish can be hit and miss. Prices reasonable. Try it.

Staff are friendly but I had a very long wait one day. 25+ minutes. Food was nice enough for me go return.

Chips are always overcooked and far too many crispies. Portions are a bit small for the price.

A convenient location just down the road from us. Been here lots of times, the fish is usually very good but the chips vary in quality sometimes very nice and tasty and others hard and chewy. Before when we lived in England chips from the same chippy were consistent in quality especially new tates time of the year and we can't get scraps/batter bits over here. Still worth calling in to when you are local to check it out yourself. Wide variety of other take out available also.

Their chips are always absolutely lovely - dry and mostly good, fat chips, with very few 'bits'. Fish is large and prices are reasonable. I recommend you phone in advance

Great food and staff.. Fast service

As a local resident from the area, this is our local chip shop, but from our last experience with this place we as a family will not be back. We stopped here to get a treat for our kids on the way home, when we got home i wasn't sure whether or not to let the kids eat the chips, as they looked like they has been heated up or re-fried several times, and they also had a lot of dark and black spots in the chips. But the kids ate them anyway. Since then my son has been violently ill, and my eldest daughter has had diarrhea and has also been violently ill. This isn't the first time our family has been ill after eating from this chip shop, but lesson learnt it will most certainly be the last. Also the staff in the shop are not very pleasant or happy and sometimes can be down right rude. This is just our experience of PG Chips at Wrights, i hope you don't have as bad of an experience. I should say that i have also been to the PG Chips at the Cohannon, and its always been lovely with both food and customer service.

Lunch special of chicken on chips with super gravy is a tasty feast.

Lovely food .....can't fault it..... but really let down by staff at lunchtime that need some lessons in customer service . Most unfriendly place we been into for a long time . wouldn't rush back . And as we're workmen and therefore mobile , we'll vote with our vehicles .
