The best restaurants serving British food in Northern Ireland

Took my family to rococo yesterday for dinner the food was amazing and the staff were very good, also served our meal fast and plenty of it

Obliging staff who always go beyond their duty supporting local charities tonight was no exception.

Fish was fried in black oil, the burnt oil was the dominant taste…Scampi was from frozen with so poor quality, only 6 scampi with chips and a bit of peas was £11, it certainly did not worth it and did not taste fresh, waste of money, won’t go back and don’t recommend

Reasonably priced food & friendly staff.

Been there number of times portion of food was reasonable but unfortunately last time it wasn’t reasonable very disappointed,It was Saturday price also higher than expected

Llevo años yendo al comerciante y siempre ha sido increíble, lamentablemente en esta ocasión ha sido muy decepcionante. Fuimos al comerciante para una ocasión especial después de que nos dijeron que no podíamos reservar, simplemente nos presentamos para un cóctel. Me dijeron muy groseramente que la espera era de 30 minutos y me dirigieron al vestíbulo. Pregunté si podíamos tomar una copa en el vestíbulo y de nuevo le dije groseramente que habían pasado 40 minutos con otros grupos sentados ante nosotros, aparentemente porque estaban teniendo prioridad. Finalmente nos sentamos y esperamos 15 minutos para que se tomara una orden y luego otros 30 minutos para 4 cócteles. Solo había un camarero y no se disculpó en ningún momento. El servicio era muy pobre y no el ambiente agradable habitual - no nos alojamos para otro. Esperemos que esta experiencia sea solo un golpe en lo que siempre ha sido un gran hotel.

Omg!!! Great staff in Binky's made my friend and my night so unusual to meet staff that are happy and full of personality. Jamie and Rowan are definitely a asset to Binky's. Jamie couldn't do enough and went out of her way to get what we wanted the best service ever!!!! A great team so will definitely be back hopefully they are working. The coffee and traybakes were yummy.

I didnt even know it existed, until my car broke down near by, The food was lovely, I'm still thinking about the sour dough and balsamic dressing. I had the salt and chilli chicken, 3yr old loved hers too, and the staff all were so friendly. And it was such a good price. Can't wait to go again

I went with a few people it is dark mahogany wood and the servers are so nice and kind and also the food is beautiful they also do lunch carvery where u can get soup to begin and a carvery dinner with 4 different things to choose from and a vege option aswel

Absolute gem of a restaurant, friendly professional staff, fantastic food. The burger with its grill melted cheese was fantastic. My son had the fillet steak which was just the best . We will be back again . This has been our 4th time and we'll worth the drive.

Nice wee cafe for a bit of breakfast. Asked for a menu before I went there, but never got it sent to me. The food is nice, I got a small fry and a tea. But the staff failed to inform me there was an offer of a filled soda and tea for cheaper. Just been again...got the offer mentioned above...well worth it! I'll know the next time I go as the fry was spot on! Definitely worth a visit if in the vicinity.

We had a lovely day at ballygally hotel celebrating my dad's 70th birthday. The room was beautiful, not too crowded, stunning views and amazing food from soups, salads, seafood and 4 choices of meat for main Sunday lunch. Desserts beautiful and something for everyone followed by tea and coffee out at the bar area. Staff attentive and helpful. The gardens also immaculate and worth a walk round. We will be back again and would recommend the carvery.
