Can I say never done a review before on a bar- restaurant its great that we can all share a thoughts an just had to because I have had one to many fantastic days an night at the PARLOUR bar the new owners are so great with there customers its like your best friends. * and the staff that all work there really Brighting up your day. * and allways great live music Its a joy of a bar to go too I will look forward to my next time going Keep doing what us are all doing 👏 Parlour bar staff an management ..

Great meal today in the Parlour Bar. We had the fish and chips and the burger. Both beautifully presented and big portions. Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. Totally recommend

Great food had the liver, bacon, sausage with thick onion gravy and hand cut chips. 10/10 top notch.

Did not have food on this occasion, but three of us had drinks most of the night and the table service was prompt friendly and relaxed

Had lunch here today and the food was amazing, the most delightful chicken gougons, fresh and very tasty. All round great meal, highly recommend.

First time eating in the Parlour today. Both meals were superb, the roast beef was delicious as was the turkey and ham, staff were great too. You won't be disappointed.

Called for Christmas fayre and was impressed by food and service, will call again.

Normally my local for when it comes to having dinner and a drink, but took the whole family here for Christmas dinner yesterday. The standards really dropped. We pre booked our food, there was no complaints on the starters. However no one enjoyed Thier main meal that much, I got my normal scampi and chips which is normally 5 star here. However on this occasion it was worth 2 star (if even). Family said to me even the veg could of been cooked longer . We all feel the food was prepped way to early and possibly sitting in the heat for way to long making it dry and bland. For upping the price over Xmas you should keep with normal standards. Waitress who served us was fast and efficient, credit to her!

Enjoyed the music ,food ,drink and the friendly customers at the other tables .

Hi was here with 1 of my best mates, having a long overdue catch-up. Service from waitress, waiter, was absolutely top class. Could not fault it at all, couldn't do enough for us. They came over a few times, too ask if all was OK. Not a complaint from myself and mate, all good in the hood. Food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the Chicken Feast mmm, and mate the Burger 🍔 😋 👌and chicken wings. I also got the apple crumble and cinnamon dessert. Oh my goodness 😍. Beaut. Will definitely recommend this place 2 my friends and Family in Belfast. The place to go, to enjoy good food, good chat and great atmosphere 👍 👌. When the bill came, I was surprised in a good way mind lol. Cos I truly was expecting it too be higher, especially coming from Belfast. Very reasonable indeed, cos I was paying for meals and mate the drinks. 😃😀. Soz the tip wasn't great, but mate had no change n I had just the shrapnel left in my purse. But hopefully next time im there with Family. Be different 💯. Thanks 😊. 5star.

Kids eat free on a Sunday. Great value. Excellent menu and friendly service.

We went for dinner on Sunday evening and I can honestly say it was the worst I've ever had! Steak inedible, no cutlery and staff dressed as if they were leaving bins out! Place has gone to the dogs. Didn't complain, just won't be back !!

Food just ok. Staff and service terrible as they seemed too busy chatting to each other. Ordered a drink that never came. This used to be the best eating establishment around but not any more. Background grunge music was terrible. Will not be back

Good Car parking in adjacent road. Friendly local pub vibe staff excellent good food knowledge and welcoming. Gammon delicious, scampi also and meat pie lovely. Fires for winter and TV at bar end for sport etc. Worth a visit for pub grub or a relaxing drink.

There was 11 of us for a meal to celebrate a special birthday and I have to say the service was excellent. We had a range of main courses from the menu and everyone thought the food was excellent and great value for money. Totally recommend this place and will be back.

All you want and need good food and drink at a reasonable price

Great Service, Very Friendly Staff only fault Lasagne was cover cooked a bit tough in parts, and garlic cubes tasteless, bar that we enjoyed or afternoon.

Booked specifically to enjoy the advertised live music, (asked at time of booking) only to discover there was none! The meal was fabulous but as an evening out for my husband's birthday it was disappointing not to have a complete experience

Visited based on tripadvisor reviews and we weren’t disappointed. It was a traditional pub. Good food at very reasonable prices, with a good choice. Friendly staff. Really happy we chose to visit.

Lovely little pub selling good food at good prices. The staff are relaxed but attentive making for a smashing wee evening. Definitely worth a visit.

Great wee bar for food and a bit of craic. Service was great and had a nice atmosphere with a live singer on from 9pm. Food was really good with plenty to choose from the menu at reasonable prices.

Went in for food today got 2drinks girl behind bar must have been on her period ignorant girl..sat 25 mins waiting on menu no one came near us so we left..no wonder no one was in it

Visited today for lunch having never been before. I had a prawn starter, which was lovely. We shared a burger which was absolutely lovely, properly made (though I would have liked a sauce, but just my taste). The only slight complaint I'd have is the spicy chicken wings had sweet chilli on it, which isn't spicy and I only had 2 of them and left the rest. But all in all I'd be back

Visited for dinner on 12th July 2022. Starters AMAZING. Main courses AMAZING. Dessert AMAZING. Happy and very attentive staff who were very good at their customer service so WELL DONE! I thoroughly recommend and will return. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Staff were pleasant and welcoming.😊 Service was very good😊, food was good. Probably wouldn't choose to eat in the bar should I visit again as it was difficult to have a conversation with my friend as customers at the bar were very loud and when they knocked a pint and a bar stool over it was a bit unsettling. ☹

I took a friend for a birthday treat, top marks to the staff, we were seated as soon as we entered, placing our menu's they didn't hover, we made our choices. the quality of the food was second to none and the portions were generous, also catered for drivers with a choice of alcohol free drinks.

Staff lovely ,food outstanding can't recommend this place enough and for 17.95 for a 2 course meal.

Attended the Parlour bar today, Wednesday the 14th with family for lunch. The service was excellent, 2 young ladies on, coping in a full premises, polite, always full of joy and genuinely helpful. The meal consisting of Xmas Dinner for 3, scampi for 1 and lasagne for 1, was well presented, on warm plates and absolutely beautiful meal. First time here, and we only live in Bangor. Will definitely return, and recommend the business. Well done everyone at the fore front and in the kitchen.

Have been here a few times now and have to say the food has always been 1st class, friendly staff and nothings ever to much for the staff, defo the best place to eat in Ards.

Had lovely meal in Parlour Bar and Restaurant. Friendly Staff. Food reasonably priced. Lush strawberry Daiquiri. Highly recommend giving here a go.

Family Ate Here Today - Absolutely Delicious Food Friendly Staff Professional All The Way!

Went for dinner at the Parlour last night we had 2 beautiful starters Prawn Cocktail and Battered Mushrooms when the mains came the Scampi was very overcooked and my beef and chicken sizzler was very tuff the presentation was lively but unfortunately my dinner was wrapped up for the dog. I will say the waiter handled the situation very well and removed the cost of meals from the bill and for his professional manner I will give it another go and hopefully the kitchen was just having a bad day

Great place to eat with a good selection. Prices are very competitive and the staff are very helpful. They even supplied my mother with a smaller portion as she eats very little.

We love popping in here for Sunday dinner very friendly and food is good 👌not too expensive 👍

The Parlour Bar & Restaurant, Newtonards. Nice well kept bar serving tasty well priced food with decent menu options. The serving staff on the night were fantastic, helpful and friendly. Would go back again next time in Newtonards.

This is a much improved quaint bar offering very good food at reasonable prices. The covid measures were excellent and made you feel comfortable. The food was good fresh produce and cooked very well.
