It’s Martha’s like - ye know what you’re getting! Tasty but basic Derry food, overworked staff, and the restaurant turns into a nightclub eventually. Atmosphere is terrible and you can’t hold a conversation. Staff are always harried but lovely. There’s always a christening and a spicy chicken pasta on the menu. Cocktails are maybe the last decently priced ones in the town.

Food was terrible, was inedible, bones in chicken escalape, I have no idea what I got in vegetarian meal, I couldn't eat it, cost £140 for dinner and bowls, had to go elsewhere afterwards for food after paying £140

Really great carvery dinner on a Sunday and no wait time at half two, lots of choice and big servings. Only around 11 pound each

Booked a table for 4 adults and 2 children to round off a family visit to Brunswick Bowling. The place was packed but we were quickly shown to our table. Very extensive menu choices for adults and children, We decided on starters and mains and boy were they big. Big and very very good. All in all we had a great time and the food and service all excellent - so highly recommended even if I personally found it a bit too noisy.

We ate here for lunch during the week and it was excellent value for money. We had a two course meal with soup and carvey and it was less than £11 per person. Kids meals were less than £8 per kid and they got ice cream too. The food was fresh and the portions were excellent too. The staff were super friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in going back.

Great food, atmosphere and staff

We went to Marthas for the lunchtime carvery and it was excellent! There was plenty of choice with roast beef, turkey and ham, chicken, fish, roasties, spuds, and veg. We both had the turkey and ham, and it was faultless. The portions were massive, and it was really good value, £19 for both meals. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The cocktails aren't bad either. Will definitely return and would recommend it to others.

Love food , staff great nice place to eat

Very limited menu, which is fine, but the food is mediocre at best and earlier menus are carvery with a “Sunday roast” centred menu. I’ve had a range of meals from here, all of which taste the same, if not worse than something cooked frozen from the house. Their vegetable soup has no taste whatsoever and is honestly some of the worst soup I have ever tasted. They removed any other soup options a while back so you’re now stuck with this disgustingly tasteless concoction for a starter. The decor is very avant-garde, but it gets very noisy and crowded, which takes away any atmosphere it creates.

Food OK. Servers very good. Chicken wing starter x 4 pieces poor value. Duck main course very small portion for £20. Sides also small. Chicken burger a bit dry and overcooked. Won't rush back.

Went for dinner Easter Sunday, worried as such a busy day, it might not be the best idea.. But I was wrong to worry.. Our server that evening a young lady named klara was exceptional.. I was so impressed, young but friendly and accommodating, nothing was a bother.. I don't normally do reviews... Not sure anyone really reads them lololololol But I wanted to come on here to leave her a review.. Our evening was fabulous not single error.. My son was late to join us and late to order but she ensured we were all served at exactly the same time.. Such a capable young lady.. I eat out often and worked in hospitality for years I know talent when I see it.. Martha's vineyard have a good team atm & this young lady klara is one to hold on too.. I better add all the plate went nack to kitchen clean too.. An excellent dining experience on such a crazy busy day..

Always enjoy going here as part of a usual kids day out. Food is good but the prices can be a bit high. It is part of a bowling, cinema and kids entertainment establishment so prices should be expected. Lots of car parking available around the building. Better to book in advance.

Wouldn't recommend for larger bookings. Order for food was taken whilst playing bowls. Table was booked for 8 o'clock but we didn't get seated until near 9 o'clock. Starters for the adults came out with 2 out of 7 children's meals. Had to remind staff on 3 occasions that we were still waiting on the children's meals bearing in mind this was well after 9 o'clock, meantime food was leaving the kitchen for other tables. Food wasn't great either, cold and dried out. Very poorly organised. I understand that it was a Saturday evening and a large booking but am sure not the first time this has been accomplished. A member of staff ( woman tall with brown hair) didn't catch her name, took over and finally got our meals out to us and seemed to understand our frustration.

Can't say enough about this place, the food is amazing beautifully presented the service was excellent great people skills from the staff..

Good for family and all around fun

Went with two friends for lunch. Soup and roll, choice of six mains with all the sides. Was fresh, plentiful, great service. Cost £28.95 for three including jug of cordial. Great price especially at this time of the year when some places are charging £16.95 for curry or fish and chips. Cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be back. Well done Martha’s Vineyard and the owners.

Always a good day out, quality food

Booked Martha's Vineyard for my daughters christening dinner with our families and we usually have a nice meal and service. Not this time. 0ur table was booked for 1730, We waited 45 mins for our food to come out. There was.two toddlers waiting on their food, one of them got their food first within 10 mins and the other had to wait for the rest us to get their food which was at 1815. There is a few girls in there need to learn what customer service is and not say to us " yous need to get up and go to the smoke room or wherever ,we need the table " The food .. 2 of our party didn't finished their food. Will not be back in a hurry.

Very good place very good staff

Was here yesterday with a group of people for the lunch carvery. The table service was fantastic. The food amazing as usual. I would like to give a special mention to Meghan who was working in the bar. She's an asset to the place. Great at her job and really nice girl. 👍

The food was good but quite pricey and the bill couldn't be split.

I think there should be at least a nice corner where there's no kids. It's really not nice experience having screaming child 1m from your ear. To read menu or use salt i had to use torch- definitely to dark. Food wasn't great-burger without any kind of sauce on it and very well done meet. And unfortunately - not edible brownie(didn't have to pay for it). Tasted like made with not the best ingredients. But staff was very friendly and nice.

Located within the bowling alley this place offer great deals and great food, can be very busy and noisy. Service and staff are kinda a friendly.

Delicious food and cocktails. I had the spicy beef pasta topped with lovely crispy tobacco onions and it was incredible. It’s inside the bowling/cinema so can be very busy but you can always get a drink while you wait if there’s no tables available. Prices are very reasonable.

This was my first time eating out here in a few years because any time I was there before..honestly was not great. I got the movie ticket and two course deal for £24.95. The food was faultless and the cocktails were lovely. Service was good enough but I did have to ask 3 times for a jug of water before I got one. At the end me and my friend wanted to pay by card separately for what we had and this was ok but we were told they will not work this out and we had to do this ourselves. This was an absolute first time I have ever been told this at a restaurant and had I known we were to do this ourselves I would have calculated it before we got up to pay. I thought they would simply pick off the things we told them we had on the bill and it would automatically be calculated as it was all on a computer screen and not a basic system whatsoever. Having had different drinks and the extra stuff meant it wasn't equal straight down the middle although that's what we ended up doing as it was more convenient. When we said just half it, the waitress then said just tell me how much you want to pay each. Was a bit shocked she didn't just go ahead and charge half but luckily simple maths in my slightly tipsy head give us all the answer we needed and a crisis was averted. Honestly this part was a bit laughable and sure she had to double-check the total anyway..... Overall, moving away from the last part I would definitely dine there again.

We went for the carvery and it was 10/10 the food was delicious and plenty of it .. the staff were very nice and helpful , we were a party of 4 one in a wheelchair and they sat us on a table in the bar area .. the bathrooms were immaculate which in my mind says a lot about the business . We will definitely be back great value

2 course Calvary for £8.95, can't be beaten...

Food was delicious had a lovely bowl of cabbage and bacon soup for starters which doesn't sound to nice but was delicious then a lovely big roast dinner, we have been there a few times now and will definitely be back again

A little work might out. Our table was ready after 5 minutes which was good because a few of us were early. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food I choose duck spring rolls and the salmon for my main both delicious. The menu has a few supplements on it on the duck £5 extra and the 50/50 and fillet steak a bit more obviously with everything going up in price. You can't really complain £24.95 for starter and main and bowling or the cinema whichever you prefer. Great family venue.

Not often I would put a review up, staff was lovely and quick to get us seated. Food was ok and the main issue was on how quick they get you to move on.

The kitchen ran out of some of the main course options. In fairness we arrived just before 2 and they close at 2:30. With the xmas rush it was busy so thats why. The problem was when nothin suited my diet to eat I opted to have the starter only. Went to pay at the till and they charged me 4:50 for the boul of soup. Its 8:95 for 2 courses. Felt very ripped off, hence the 3 stars. The food is good and 2 course is very reasonably priced. Just do not opt for the starter only.

Homemade food, good quality and price

Was in for a few cocktails with my mates and 2 staff in particularly was very rude to me and my friends very disappointed as I would eat here quite often

We were here last night for a birthday meal. We opted for the banquet and bowl meal deal which was great value at £24pp. This included a starter, main and side order, as well as the game of bowling which is fantastic value in my opinion! Our portions were massive and so tasty, cocktails being only £3.95 also was well received! For the 6 of us our bill was only £189 which I felt was very good value and we had a brilliant evening. We all had a great time and will definitely be back!!

** The occasion to Martha's vineyard, was my eldest Granddaughter (Kerry -Lynn's Birthday, as it's been a very long time since I last visited the Bar Restaurant,I was totally amazed, for the following reasons, immaculately clean, very high standard in food, staff were friendly & helpful in all aspects of their respective duties.

Food and service excellent. Like everyone else we headed to the movie bowl to avoid the rain. The place was rammed. We waited for an hour (added to the list and given a calling buzzer) went and played some pool and games machines while we waited. We were Called forward and sat with drinks and food sharply. Excellent service all round. Highly recommend

Was here with my daughter and 6 friends on the 28th of June for her 18th birthday I called and made a reservation a week before hand. While we were sitting we were more or less demanded to order our starter and main so we did while ordering all cocktails for the table. When we finished our starter they more or less brought our mains straight out no time to settle at all. More cocktails were ordered. After mains I went out for a cigarette only to be told we had 15 mins to order and eat our dessert that the table had another booking even though this was a Tuesday and there was only 5 maybe 6 tables being used in the whole place no idea why our table was soo special. Was not told when reserving the table that there was another booking or that we had a time limit to eat. We were all spending money by buying drinks and we were trying to enjoy our food even though being rushed through it. They came with ice cream with a sparkler on it so we could sing happy birthday to her the server practically threw it at her. We were pushed off the table and spent £214 for a disaster of a time the birthday girl got so upset and anxious she was crying so much she ended up in the toilet vomiting. It absolutely ruined her day never again will I be using here or be advising anyone near it it was a complete joke.

Martha's is good food at probably the best valued price for a buffet lunch in Derry,and with bowling, cinema and gaming on offer worth a visit

First communion family meal. Initial thoughts, it was so dark that I had to use my phone torch to read the menu. Martha’s platter for starter to share - enough food for a main meal for one! Spiced salmon for main - again had to use phone torch to see the food where bottom of salmon was chargrilled black which I ended up scraping off. Partner ordered peppered burger and it did not make his list of top 10 burgers. Overall service could be improved e.g. when jugs of water empty, we had to wave down a waiter to refill.

We ate here today and the food was brilliant. Great value and excellent service. Special mention to Michael who was very attentive

Very swift service by the staff to seat us and take orders. Place was very busy, yet run smooth and efficiently. The food was delicious, fresh and of excellent quality. Kids loved getting the voucher for the ice cream sundae, which was so tasty also. Great family venue.

We visit Martha’s for their carvery quite regularly, we just go for the main course. It is all so delicious, especially the turkey and ham. I love that they serve chips as well as roasties and mash! What a treat Their gravy and stuffing is delicious, it is all amazing! The one thing that bugs me every time we go in, is that my husband will always be given a larger portion than me. Even though we are paying for the same. He will get an extra slice of meat, extra roast potatoes, more stuffing and extra sausages. This bugs me so so much. We are both paying the same price, the portions should be fair .

I have never been disappointed by Martha's vineyard. Have been here twice in the last few weeks and the most recent visit on Monday was just sensational. The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, and the service was amazing. The servers were so helpful, service was quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering what a wonderful experience we had. Highly recommend.

Would leave one star if possible. Beautiful restaurant but food was terrible. Salt and chilli chicken was just dried up bits of chicken, salmon unseasoned, pitta bread chicken was like something from a cheap takeaway at 3am with sauce poured all over the top, steaks were actually nice but way over cooked. They weren't sent back as I don't believe in dumping food. No complaints were made in fact because it was our sons birthday. Dark haired Waitress had a shocking attitude and was very rude, hence a small tip. Told twice to leave at 8.30 even though they weren't busy. Can honestly say we will never return we only went for the bowling and a birthday

It's been 3 years since we ate in Martha's vineyard this time we went there at lunch time to have the carvery lunch. The lunch was 2 courses, soup was the only starter but there was a choice of 2 types which included a choice of bread. The main course was a choice of roasts of the day with a vegetarian option. Food was plentiful and delicious. All this for £7.50. Staff were exceptional very efficient and everyone was adhering to covid regulations. I would highly recommend.

The food was vile, the mash was lumpy and rubbery, chips pure salty, didn’t eat any of the food and was told i should have said something when they called to the table 2 minutes after we where served not at the end, by this point i had not touched my food so i didnt realize how disgusting the food would be.I will not be back

Had salted chili chicken starter and it was fine but such a tiny tiny portion. Also tried the chicken wings but found the sauce very overwhelming. Had duck for the main and it was fabulous. The sauce was so delicious I requested extra. I love the decor, the staff were very helpful and the lady at the till helped me with getting a movie and meal deal. The place was so busy when we visited so it was very hectic and so we were waiting a while for our dessert orders to be taken and then decided against it as we didn't want to miss the film. There is a wide selection of cocktails and as we visited on a Monday there was a deal that made the cocktails something like £3.75 each which was excellent.

Have eaten here a few times for birthdays and special occasions. The food is so good and that's just to start, the atmosphere is what makes this place great.

Went here with two friends as it was our first night out together post covid. We had the movie deal package, so had watched a movie early in the evening. We were early to the restaurant but the staff sat us right away which was great as they were very busy. We were looked after by Broghan who took our drink and food order. He was very pleasant and attentive with great customer service. We had other servers throughout our meal and they were just as friendly. Food arrived quickly and was as delicious as always. So top marks to the staff and management who have opened again after what was a tumultuous year to delivering the high standard that I and my friends had the pleasure of experiencing that night. 🥰

Como familia, amamos a Martha's Vineyard. Viajamos dos veces al mes desde Omagh como un capricho.Ambiente cálido y acogedor, personal amable y servicial, un menú variado y para colmo, a un precio muy razonable. Comida de buena calidad. Que es no gustar ?

Vine aquí para mi cena de cumpleaños. Comida excelente como siempre. Personal muy atento y cortés. Se tomaron muy bien las precauciones hacia COVID 19, sin embargo, fuimos testigos de cómo una pareja se sentaba en una mesa sin que las personas que estaban allí sentadas antes la limpiaran. Los platos simplemente se levantaron y eso fue todo. Es un pequeño punto, pero siento que es necesario resaltar durante el tiempo actual que enfrentamos.

Visited with my partner and son on Friday night fitted us in without booking,location was lovely,staff really friendly and the food was amazing ,ribs fell of the bone and fajitas were fantastic,brilliantly priced definitely recommend.

Reservamos una mesa para cenar, ¿puedo añadir con poca antelación? (solo para 2) al llegar tuvimos que tener una temperatura leída por la muñeca, no había que tocarla, solo leerla desde la distancia. Me gustó esto porque me sentí muy seguro al entrar al complejo.Nuestra mesa nos estaba esperando, todo el personal llevaba máscaras (que para ser honesto es una elección personal de las empresas por ahora) Yo, como cliente, no tengo preferencia por esto, ya que sé que estás a la distancia recomendada de mí al ordenar mi alimentos y bebidasLa comida era increíble y siempre tan sabrosa, el servicio fue fabuloso + en esta noche en particular, estaba muy ocupado. Sentado mirando hay mucha gente usando las estaciones de saneamiento cada minuto, lo cual es fabuloso de ver. Las puertas estaban abiertas al pasillo / baños / zona de fumadores que me encantó tan espaciosa y aireada. El complejo está a tope + estoy muy feliz de haber hecho mi primera salida desde marzo / cierre, no puedo esperar a volver. Sigan con el gran trabajo que sé que en estos tiempos no es fácil? Equipo fabuloso?

Había reservado una mesa a través del sitio web en línea para el 8 de julio, que fue aceptada y confirmada por el restaurante. En ningún momento el restaurante se puso en contacto con nosotros para informarnos que el restaurante seguía cerrado en ese momento debido al covid - 19. El sitio web también era muy engañoso, ya que decía que el restaurante estaba abierto y fue solo cuando llegamos al lugar para descubrir que las barreras estaban levantadas y el restaurante estaba cerrado. Esto fue muy decepcionante, ya que fue un viaje perdido de casi una hora o más para una ocasión especial planificada. Cuando llegamos al lugar, llamamos al restaurante y el miembro del personal que respondió afirmó que la reserva fue aceptada debido a una 'actualización de software'. La mesa se reservó tres semanas antes de lo cual creo que fue tiempo más que suficiente para ser notificado de que el restaurante estaba cerrado.

Estuvimos allí hoy para el asador, qué decepción. La sopa estaba bien un poco picante (casi me quemó el horno). Conseguí el pastel Guinness, fue el peor pastel que he comido, la masa no estaba bien hecha y la carne estaba dura. Las verduras eran suaves y flojas. Mi esposa consiguió el pavo que estaba seco y soso. También obtuve algunas fichas que eran pedazos en lugar de fichas completas. ¿ES DIFÍCIL COCINAR ALIMENTOS DECENTOS?

Reservamos para 10 amigos con la oferta de banquetes y platos, comida y cócteles eran encantadores, sin embargo, el grupo se dividió en 2 mesas que arruinaron la noche. La mesa había sido reservada con 2 semanas de anticipación y nos sorprendió que se dividiera en 2 mesas, ya que era una cosa de último minuto. Afortunadamente, tuvimos pistas de bolos juntas que nos ayudaron a unirnos al final.

Estaba esperando para entrar al cine en el complejo Moviebowl para ver Frozen 2 con mi hija de 9 años y decidí venir aquí para un Guinness rápido. Unos minutos más tarde regresó para decirnos que la mesa estaba reservada para los comensales y nos mostró otro 'banco' donde podíamos sentarnos, cerca del bar. Una pareja ocupaba la mitad del banco, comiendo. Les pregunté si el espacio adyacente estaba ocupado y cuando dijeron que no, le dije a mi hija que se sentara y pedí una bebida en el bar, después de lo cual me senté a descargar. Mi hija estaba sentada jugando videojuegos en su teléfono (en silencio) mientras yo estaba sentada estudiando los resultados de las elecciones en mi propio teléfono. Alrededor de la mitad de mi pinta, otra camarera se acercó y dijo que teníamos que movernos porque las otras personas en el banco que estamos comiendo. Le dije que habíamos sido colocados allí por un colega de aquí, que nos iríamos pronto y que estaba preparada para trasladar a mi hija nuevamente. Ella se fue y momentos después, un hombre muy alto e imponente se acercó y me dijo que tenía que moverme porque la gente a nuestro lado estaba comiendo. Le expliqué nuevamente que habíamos sido colocados allí por un miembro del personal, que pronto iríamos al cine y que no estaríamos en movimiento. En ese momento él agarró mi cerveza, me acusó de haber sido grosero con un miembro del personal y me exigió que nos mudáramos. Le dije, con calma pero con firmeza, que eso no iba a suceder y que nos iríamos en breve para continuar con el cine, momento en el que se fue. Toda la experiencia fue extremadamente vergonzosa y me sentí realmente humillada frente a mi hija, que estaba ansiosa por ir al cine. Este hombre muy desagradable y arrogante puso una mancha muy oscura en nuestra noche especial de papá e hija. Pero entonces no creo que a la gerencia le importe un comino ya que solo estuve allí para tomar una copa en lugar de gastar una fortuna en una cena de Navidad y cócteles. Una desgracia sangrienta y sin duda volveré cerca del lugar. 0/10 para servicio al cliente.
