Loft 56 in Banbridge

Lovely surroundings. Food and service were fab. Never met such helpful friendly staff. I had a burger, which was so tasty, large amounts of food.

First class pizza on new years night. They where very busy so thought maybe takeaways may not be on, but nothing was a problem to them. Probably the best pizza we ever had. 10/10. Very well run establishment with nice trying staff.

7 of us booked in for Friday lunch. Comfortable surroundings and nicely decorated for Halloween . Varied menu and delicious food . Friendly , attentive service .

Had lovely meal last Friday 25th September. The food, ambience, price and service was absolutely first class. Our waitress, Anna, was so friendly and helpful, I do hope she is around again when we return

The restaurant is in a unassuming place (above the supermarket) but once inside is a really great space with a good atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was great.

Great wee find on Newry Street above an excellent supermarket, just dropped in for coffee and scones while friend had some business in the town, service excellent, tea and coffee were great and the scones were nicely warmed with home made jam, will definitely be back

We have had a number of visits and this restaurant is really good. Everyone's food was excellent, fresh, tasty, hot with delicious sauces. Pizza's are amazing, steak sandwich tasty and tender. Super staff and service.

Called in on a whim because we had eaten here before and the food was excellent. Sadly this time the experience wasn't the same. Owing to my partner's condition having deteriorated she now requires an assistance dog. The dog needs to be close and with her head in contact with her in order to react to her needs. A male member of staff possibly the owner or manager approached our table and demanded to know why the dog was required and what it was for. He requested the information with other customers nearby. Owing to her condition she did not want to divulge to a man. The staff member requested the dog be hidden from the window and out of sight from people outside our other patrons. It was explained that the dog was kept clean and in to condition due to her job. The atmosphere was such that we felt we should leave rather than be quizzed further. A shame because previously the food was excellent but we were told now the whole area would need totally cleaned because of the dog. Whilst there is disabled access with a good lift it appears any disability requiring the assistance of a dog may not be catered for unless you wish to divulge your illness.

Just home from an Exceptional culinary and customer experience. From our arrival until departure, Jordan and Culann, Front of House team members went the extra mile to ensure we got a lovely table, taking drinks and then food order of starter of Chicken Wings, so yummy, then for the mains, my sister had scampi oh my word melt in the mouth, and I chose the 8oz fillet cooked to absolute perfection, well done chefs. We also wish to convey our sincere thanks to Stefan, Fran, Exceptional Restaurant Chefs, and once again to Jordan and Culann, the Exceptional Front of House team members. Thank you ALL so so much.

We were celebrating our engagement and I cannot fault the service it was just perfect and made everything so much more special food was great can’t that them enough for making our meal that extra bit special thank you

This is my second time here and I will not be back. Ordered the starter ribs and I did not know that the seasoning was going to be so hot. I also ordered the loft 56 salad. I got rocket stalks and olives (which I hate) so very little salad eaten. Kids meal for a wee 14month old was 7.50 so very pricey. Food not good. The food downstairs is brill and I will be using it all the time now.

What a hidden gem in the heart of Co.Down. This beautifully designed restaurant sits above the well known Milestone supermarket in Rathfriland. It was our first rime at the restaurant and it certainly wont be our last. Really good choice on the menu and an extensive cocktail list which was just lovely. The food portions are great and it was good value for money. I had garlic, cheesy bread to start followed by scampi and chips and finished with sticky toffee pudding. Overall we were delighted with the food, drinks and service. Highly recommend.

I went here for breakfast for the second time and fortunately it was delicious on both occasions. However the first time I had to wait 25 minutes for an Ulster fry and this time had to wait 50 minutes for poached eggs!!! Granted it was busy it is VERY understaffed with waitresses rushed off their feet.

Great food, staff in abundance, friendly polite staff. Atmosphere lovely. Clean. Service good. Unhurried allowed to take your time.

EXCELLENT BREAKFAST . Management spoke with me after my last review and where apologetic and sincere in addressing my concerns. I told them I would return in the hope that I would experience LOFT 56 in a positive way . I just wanted to let you know we dined again in milestone on a recent Sunday morning about 9.30 . FABULOUS from start to finish completely different experience. The staff a young man and woman so professional and friendly nothing was a problem 10/10 please pass on my thanks . Food was hot , fresh , tasty and well presented. We ordered the same meal as we did on our first visit with added extra of fruit and yougert so delicious . I paid for the food even though management did give a voucher as an apology for our previous visit. I did not want to bias my visit in any way and so I passed the voucher on to a young family in need that I know in the hope that the parents could have a treat . I made manager aware that the voucher had been passed on . Staff did not know who I was until I was leaving and I told them I was so delighted with everything . I have since returned twice to LOFT 56 for breakfast . Thank you I’m so glad that my experience was very different. Great to see staff representing and respecting their job in RATHFRILAND. I enjoyed breakfast here on Sunday morning. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. Great menu for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Decor was exceptional.

What a plesant evening. We were greeted by a very pleasant highly experienced waitress who seen to our every need with prompt effeciency. I can highly recommend the starter... smoked salmon and prawn cocktail served with fresh lemon and wheaten bread followed by steak sandwich...
