The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Myself & some friends visited today (31/01) - everyone absolutely loved it & commented on how lovely the venue, food & drinks was, our server maisie was absolutely lovely & very accommodating, nothing was trouble for her :) Food was excellent! Allergies were very well catered too, we look forward to returning :)

Excellent coffee and friendly service. All of their coffees are single origin as well so the quality is far better than 99.9% of coffeeshops.

Hemos estado yendo a Robbies durante años y siempre hemos tenido una comida y un servicio encantadores. Sin embargo, nuestra visita de hoy no fue genial. Nuestra fiesta tuvo el desayuno sándwiches de salchichas. No venía como un sándwich, eran 3 salchichas que solo estaban cocinadas y parecían enímicas sentadas encima del pequeño rollo de pan. El pan estaba bien, pero las salchichas eran muy sosas, sin sabor y parecía de muy baja calidad. Es una pena que nos encanten los pasatiempos pero no creamos que vamos a pedir salchichas de nuevo.

Asked for an empty takeaway cup for my 4 year old daughter but was asked to pay 20p for it. Staff was also rude.

This would have been a 5 star review if I was reviewing the food only. The food was top notch. The negatives were: One of the staff who served us was miserable and quite unpleasant in her manner. The second negative was unforgivable! They do not serve tea in a pot! It comes in a cup with a tea bag floating in it attached to a piece of string. Thats the sort of thing you get in 'cafes' or roadside caravans or take aways from the local chippy - not a place like the Staveley Arms. I asked for a pot of tea and that is what was brought to me, the lady told me 'oh we don't serve tea in pots' and plonked it down. I refused it. Later I asked for a latte which was cold! Diners like to drink tea at their leisure and not having to drink it quickly to prevent it getting cold or from a saucer that is dripping tea from the tea bag! You really need to rethink how you serve tea!

We popped in here with our new puppy. The place was packed inside but we managed to find a table outside. Cakes were delicious and service was good.

Used to come here when Hubbys but stopped as standard was low! noticed it had changed hands to Wards so gave it a go! Soo glad I did taste just like seaside fish and chips Beautiful I’ve tried all local fish and chips and this one is the best by far yes it’s not cheap ( it not the most expensive either) but I’m Not driving a hour to coast to get same taste, I’ll give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely place to stop when you're out on your bike. Lots of bike accessories, a repair service and great advice. The lunches are awesome and the coffee is fabulous! If you don't pop in here on your way through you're certainly missing a treat!

Lovely lattes yummy bacon and mushroom sandwiches. Becoming a regular haunt.

Nice Bites to eat and served with a huge smile. we found the food well worth the Charge and the Staff are really Lovely. Tea was lovely and the cakes and sandwiches oh so moist and fresh.

Great staff, lovely and welcoming. Good coffee. I had a falafel salad too and it was delicious - compliments to the chef! Really nice vibe, clearly a lot of regulars and happy customers. The carpet on the stairs needs to go though - looks a bit old.

Stopped for a coffee and had to try the cake as it looked so good - it was possibly the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. It had a texture and taste more like a chocolate ganache - amazing. Great coffee and really friendly service too.

Came here for a family meal and it happened to be "Pie Night" (Wednesday), what a selection of pies to choose from at a really reasonable price. Other menu options also available as well as children's portions and favourites. All our diners had nothing but praise for the meals of their choice, a wonderful evening meal enjoyed in a very nice country pub atmosphere, highly recommended by all of us, well worth a visit. And finally can I say we were all made to feel welcome by lovely accommodating, polite and friendly staff, well done to everyone who made our visit so nice.

Never been in before! But will soon remedy that! Great night!

Very sorry to hear that Jesper's are closing. The best place in Harrogate for service, atmosphere and food . Great new chef recently as well. Our go to place :-((
