The place for coffee service amazing coffee, the whole staff amazing customer service, Holy and Paul you guys are amazing keep up with great customer service.

Brown sugar latte has virtually no brown sugar in it and tastes like a basic iced Latte. Staff are reluctant to make your drink the way you like it.

Driven past this place for years and gone to a well known chain. But this has to be the best coffee shop in the area. Coffee and smoothies are great and the breakfast bagels or spot on. Service is good and if you want somewhere comfortable to sit, the inside is nice, clean and open. Highly recommend

It's always a pleasure to visit Java Joe. A warm and friendly coffee shop with excellent selection of terrific produce. You can choose from a wide selection of great drinks, such as coffee, tea, chai latte, smoothies as well as many other drinks, both hot and cold and periodically a terrific choice of special drinks are added to the menu. You can also satisfy your hunger with a wide selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, snacks and sweet treats, both hot and cold, all expertly served by some of the most wonderful, friendly, helpful and professional baristas around!

Latte amazing drive-through staff may benefit from training ie thank you please smile The Branson way ie not just about coffee , make it an experience no napkin with coffee perhaps understaffed?? A huge improvement from last week great welcome and service snd therefore only fair to give you 5 stars keep it up

Drive through service too slow!!!

As a muslim woman who is reluctant to go to cafes to work due to the limitations of finding somewhere to pray, I was humbly taken aback by the kind gesture made by the staff members (Paul and Arielle) at Java Joe who provided me with the utmost comfortability to perform my prayers. He even offered to block off an area for me. This meant more than words can express. From the 5* warm service of the staff to the amazing coffee (caramel latte) and food (which is brought to your table). This is hands down going to be my go to cafe from now on. The community that comes to the cafe is also very warm and they are nice to keep to their own business. Also a massive plus point for anyone supporting the boycott movement and are looking for alternatives to soft drinks like (Coca cola ect) they have Karma cola and other options available! I would highly highly highly recommend this cafe to everyone!!

Great coffee shop. Bright and welcoming. Lots of choices in food and drinks including vegetarian and milk alternatives. Comfy seats and booths. Free Wi-fi and lots of plug points for working. Friendly helpful staff. Free parking too.

What a great alternative to some of the bigger chains - the quality of the coffee is far superior and the atmosphere infinitely better :)

Ordered 2 new Xmas drink vanilla cream to take away got home to drink terrible no flavor at all flat as anything waited weeks to treat us to these not happy at price for an awful drink

Great place to meet people for a coffee. Loads of space to meet with people and a good selection of drinks / food. (Although no food options for vegans).

Only tried this due to not using other coffee chains at the moment. Used the drive thru, the girl with blonde hair, glasses and no lips served with a face on and attitude saying ‘what do you want?’ Seriously? If i wasn’t so gobsmacked I would have said nothing from you with that rude customer service skills!! No ‘Hi’ and no ‘thanks’ definitely wont be back here, Train your staff on soft skills maybe? I should have listened to the bad reviews!!

Just nipped in for a coffee and was delighted to find out this is just an independent coffee shop. From the outside, with the drive thru I suspected it was a chain of some sort but thankfully isn't! Had the caramel salted latte and it was fantastic, milk right temp and service was impeccable. Very clean tables and chairs and enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere, also has a drive thru and a decent sized car park.. 100% recommend over Starbucks or Costa!

Absolutely amazing. My partner is physically disabled and suffers with tremors and dropped her drink, straight away they noticed and cleaned it up and asked her if she's okay. Gave her a free drink in return. Was served by Paul a lovely man, smiley and sociable and a nice girl with brown hair in ponytail. Staff are kind and considerate. Defiantly recommended.

Nice Airy, light, bright place when the sun is out. High pollution levels as it is on a busy roundabout but ok for a quick coffee & cake pit stop🏃‍♀️ although im not a lover of the coffee bean they use in all honesty ☕️🍩🍪

Absolutely amazing. We came here on a recommendation and we weren't disappointed! We both had a sausage, egg and cheese bagel with an iced coffee and a cake each and it was all amazing. The service was lovely too. This is going to be our new weekend spot for sure 🤍

If you want to receive anything even close to what you ordered then ask for something that is like the staff, very simple. Pricing a little hilarious too.

Drinks are good but staff need to work on their customer service skills. There was no friendly welcome or even a smile. Staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Not a very welcoming place.

Lemon cake was stale unfortunately, too quite could so with ambient music. Customers with feet on seats is annoying.

Java Joe's serve amongst the best coffee around. Its consistently good. They have a great selection of paninis and cakes too. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. My favourite coffee house. Still awesome every visit.

Expensive? Yes Was it worth it? Hell yes!!! Highly recommend the watermelon one. Gave 3* for atmosphere as it was empty when we came...So there wasn't much of an atmosphere, but the guy who makes the drinks has excellent personality and he is so proud and passionate about the recipes made herr

It’s always hit and miss here. No ice today and the hot drinks are always dangerously hot.

Not visited since before COVID. Happy to say, the atmosphere and drinks are still amazing as ever. Important to support independents, and it always helps when the coffee taste quality. You can tell they take price in their coffee and brewing process.

Great to frequent an independent. Really nice cappuccino and iced coffee (and iced coffee not just a cup of ice). Also got free puppuccino when they saw our black lab. Friendly service. Would pick over Starbucks and Costa any day, especially as supporting local businesses in a corporate dominated market.

Really good place for a coffee, touchdown meeting or catch up, car park handy, good number of spaces but does get busy. Decent coffee options, staff friendly and attentive, good WiFi, happy to return here, good job guys.

Doggy friendly, pupachinos available yaaaaaay! Incredibly warm welcoming relaxed atmosphere. Very well set out ample room for wheelchair users or prams. Brilliant staff, can't say enough about how nice and friendly they are xx

This is a really nice place. Cosy to stay and sit on a cold day with a hot drink. The staff are always friendly too. The food and drink here is reasonably priced too.

First time I've been in for a long time. Asked for a chai tea and got a chai latte. My toastie was hot. Instead of going in and hearing nice calm music, was greated by the football on really loud.

I actually think the coffee is normally really nice but today it had a kind of bitter after taste to it, not sure why, if the staff member who served me today at the drive through said thank you would of gave a 4, as manners do go along way

Come to Java after like 2 years, on a Sunday morning my usual spot would be Starbucks. Staff are silly girls that are not friendly or welcoming….the coffee was disappointing as was the service… this place use to be really good what happened? Ps staff need customer service training asap

Definitely the worse sandwhich I've ever eaten😬. The tuna toastie filling tasted exactly as the one you get in a tub from tesco (tuna sweetcorn filler from tesco is £1.55 and you can make like 4sandwhichs out of it) if you think I'm exaggerating check the picture out. It's so disappointing when you go into a coffee shop that charges same prices as costa and Starbucks but the food is terrible. I hate sweetcorn and mayonnaise overload thats why i never buy the tesco tubs, and there was no mention of sweetcorn on the packaging. CAN ANYONE ELSE SEE TUNA?🤔 i only see mayonnaise... its a nice coffee shop, has charging ports & a nice atmosphere, I'm 100% sure if you made your food section a bit better & customer service your priority you'll get more customers, because 3 people have told me prior to me going that the food is not even supermarket standard and prices are starbucks level. Also the gentleman at the till could improve on his customer service (not sure if hes a manager, owner or just staff) but i initially nearlly left because i felt he couldn't even be bothered speaking to me and i was forcing my order on him, imagine going somewhere where your paying quite a bit of money for a cup of tea and the person at the till is not looking at you, they are talking past you like as if they are doing you a favour. I only put this feedback up so maybe you'll recognise that you need tuna in your tuna mayonnaise sandwich please & better customer service, i would happily pay extra few pounds for good food and good customer service... & if them 2 things were better I'd definitely come again & would definitely recommend others to go but currently if anyone asked me I'd say your better off going to Starbucks & Costa or Greggs... fix it and I'll remove the feedback 🙂

Got stuck on the wrong bus coming from Leeds and got off at the roundabout where Java Joe is. Building looks great inside and out, coffee was fairly priced and tasted great. I asked the staff to recommend a taxi rank as i wasnt familiar with who was local. Really friendly, great experience. If i was closer id be in more often.

I genuinely do enjoy a Java joes coffee but damn they are a bit pricey to get all the time. Me and my partner downloaded the the app for the first time as it states you’d get a free drink once you do, but it’s not true. They still charge 50p, and my partner followed the exact same instructions as me yet he was still charged £3.50? The lady said she’d give us a free drink next time but we do go in often, I doubt they’d remember us or allow a free drink after he had already downloaded and claimed the free drink, so he wont be getting that “free” drink anytime soon. Just remember if your downloading the app for a free drink it’s not completely free there’s still a charge

The atmosphere in this cafe is great for work meetings or just freelance working. I love to take my work laptop and catch up on work whilst unwinding with a coffee. The coffee is great and the staff go the extra mile to make it as good as possible. The WiFi connection is good and the staff are very welcoming.

My first visit to Java Joe's this week after passing it many times - very impressed. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating areas; good choice of sandwiches, coffees and cake, very friendly and efficient staff. Food was hot and delicious - reasonably priced too. Will definitely be calling again soon.

Very good, ordered a cappuccino and a massala chai tea! Both were very tasty and the service was excellent.

We have started going to Java Joe during lockdown for takeaway coffees. We’d driven past so many times and decided to call and we’re so glad we did. We love to support independent businesses but the coffee at Java Joe is probably the best for miles around. The gingerbread latte is fantastic, the syrup they use tastes completely natural and aromatic. My husband loves the Americanos and my daughter who’s vegan can’t resist the Salted Caramel oat lattes. We quite happily drive the 14 miles from Huddersfield to taste this coffee. The staff are very friendly too. Can’t fault Java Joe. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Popped n here for a coffee on a morning walk. It's been here for years but first visit. Not the best coffee but by far not the worst, definitely drinkable and on par with most standard coffee shops in the area. Breakfast bagel was good too and far better than something from a certain well know fast food place nearby. Tasty without being greasy. Will be going back. EDIT:. Been regularly going here since my review and can say that while the coffee may have just been above average the first time, since then it's been really good. Definitely recommended!

Not only does Java Joe serve fabulous coffee (the best I've found in Bradford, with lots of changing specials), but it's also a fabulous team running it. Even when you grab a take-away coffee it's the same familiar faces serving and they are always smiley and chatty. I love sitting in here to do my work, nice atmosphere. This is how businesses should be run- support this brilliant independent! 🙂

Would expect an independent coffee shop to serve better quality and taste of coffee compared to the numerous coffee chains around. However, was disappointed as the takeaway flat white was not nice. Will be sticking with the chain stores for now until something special comes along.

As always immaculately clean the politest staff and the best coffee in town. We love this place highly recommended

I asked for a filter coffee and a piece of cake. Waiter bought me an americano instead. I told him that's not what I ordered and he said when we run out of filter we just serve americano without telling you. I never even received my cake no one bothered bringing it over. I finished my drink and asked for my cake to take out. No apology and cake was put in a paper bag not even a box. Wasn'tevenworth eatingby the timeI got home. Disappointing service. People who work there swap your drinks without informing you and when you're food never arrives dont even get an apology. So rude. Won't be going there again.

Honestly the best coffee shop in Bradford, my colleagues and I will actually try and work our visits to Bradford in a way that we can come and visit Java Joe's. The coffee is fantastic, the cakes are just too naughty to resist and the service is always second to none!! Brilliant coffee place
