The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Just called for a drink, 1st Ale tasted stange, so picked something else. Quite expensive pints, cheaper places in the village. Barmaid not very chatty so prob wont bother again.

Really excellent place for a couple date night. No phones no swearing excellent drinks at a decent price. Ideal for after the theatre.

MAY 2025 - CLOSED - AGAIN Once more what was the heart of Bedale closes; 3 Licensees in as many years?!?! A real shame as this pub has so much potential but it seems from what is being said locally that it’s just too expensive to run. It’s not for want of trying - the local landlords are doing their best to keep the pubs in Bedale going but they really need mid week support from locals; 3 pubs closed in six months should be a wake up call - ‘ if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it’! Fortunately two of these have since reopened - for now! It would be a brave person to take the Swan on now and someone with very deep pockets but fingers crossed a workable solution can be found 🍻

The place is quite old fashioned. The bar we went in at the back of the pub, had stone wallpaper, which was exactly as it was years ago.

We pre-ordered our food as we were going to the theatre. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived however we had to wait ages for our drink order and had to chase up our food order as service was non existent. When the food arrived everyone’s portion sizes were different. I would say they were definitely on the stingy side and looked like it had just been thrown on the plate. Very poor. We won’t be rushing back!

We stayed at the Premier Inn York North, and the Beefeater was attached. We went in for tea with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We were served by Annie, who was very polite and helpful. Our food was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the Baconeater was one of the tastiest burgers I'd had in ages. I highly recommend eating here and cannot wait for breakfast 😋

Great, polite and very helpful staff, food was good for a family just out for a bit of lunch. Out server kat was very polite and helpful with my daughters food needs.

Brilliant pub just outside the city of York. Service really good. Vast array of beers and spirits. Always love popping in for a pint or two.

Sunday night Jam is awesome. Some great live music on Friday and Saturday nights

Pretendía ir a Weatherspoons, la cola al bar estaba fuera de la puerta, en su lugar caminé a la vuelta de la esquina a Whitby Way. La persona del bar era amable y hablador, tenía una pinta agradable. Pub muy tranquilo, yo era la única persona dentro. Inodoros decepcionantes, sin bloqueo en el cubículo y un asiento de metal más incómodo si tienes pilas. Ni jabón ni agua caliente para lavarse las manos, ni toallas ni secador.

Had lunch & dinner both fine. Stayed over night, breakfast was not great at all, really would not recommend breakfast. Stayed in a family room.

Friendly staff, a full and bustling pub. We ordered our drinks and food via the app. The food didn’t disappointed. It’s lovely to see the pub so full

Buena comida y personal encantador. Vine aquí con la familia de mi novio para un desayuno por la mañana y se sorprendió de lo encantadora que era la comida. Sabor increíble y la decoración era impresionante. ¡Sin duda volveré!

Amazing food, Beer is just as good. The staff are happy and clearly enjoy being there, will definitely be returning..... And there dog friendly 😁

Well kept cask ale but nothing particularly inspiring. Got the sports channels on TV and the service is friendly & efficient.
