Oh wow! This place hits the spot in so so many ways! The service is brilliant (all the staff are super friendly, attentive and efficient) and the food is great. You might have to queue to get a table (we didn’t as we arrived fairly early) but the wait is well worth it. I had the avocado on sourdough bread (topped mine with two poached eggs) and it was fabulous-the kids had pancake stacks….light and fluffy with the best ever berries, and the son and his OH had the eggs Royale which they usually have. Luckily we visit often from Whitby and I think this will be a regular thing. Can’t wait to try an evening session…… I have to say I’m glad to have found somewhere in York that does great food at reasonable prices as we have ditched Betty’s for good (overpriced and mediocre) and Robinson’s will be our “go to” place from now on.

Staff were very friendly, efficient and considerate. Service was fast. Food tasted amazing and was hot.

Mientras esperaba que mi esposa tuviera una cita cerca, entré por primera vez en el café y me sorprendí muy gratamente. Solo tomé una taza de té, pero sin duda me sentí tentado por los hermosos pasteles y salazones que se exhiben. Servicio amable y eficiente y decoración encantadora con mesas de madera. Sin duda volveré de nuevo en algún momento en el futuro cercano para probar la comida de aspecto encantador

An open air site serving excellent coffee, with good speedy service, in a convenient location in the centre of York, a nice spot to watch the world go by

Absolutely fabulous place. Everything tastes as well as it is presented. Busy because its so good. Cannot recommend more highly.

Low prizes, a tasty and wide variety of chocolate (flavours, drinks, sweets). The staff is very polite and kind. Definitely five stars! 🥰

Fui a ver a mi mamá para tomar un café y el caballero detrás del mostrador habló con nosotros y tener un poco de charla. Tenía un nervio atrapado y me ofreció un paracetamol para ayudar con el dolor y como siempre el café es fantástico. Siempre un gran lugar para visitar.

Excellent cafe, went with family, had stacked pancakes with maple syrup, blueberries, and bacon. Fantastic. Going again next week will have the same.

Esperábamos una buena comida, ya que a menudo almorzamos en Remedy, pero la cena fue excepcional. Rivalizaba con todas las comidas veganas que hemos tenido en York y más allá. Llamé esta mañana ya que nos habíamos perdido el desayuno y teníamos hambre. El servicio fue excelente todas las chicas eran muy agradables y fr . La comida era perfecta y caliente. Incluso nos llevamos un bollo a casa con nosotros. Sin duda lo recomendaría

Anoche caí en este fabuloso bar de vinos. Gran servicio, ambiente y vino! Gracias, realmente disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo con usted.

Estamos visitando a la familia aquí en York y hemos hecho de alma nuestro lugar de café favorito para visitar. Los precios son más bajos que en otros lugares, mejor chocolate caliente y cafés y tés. ¿La mejor parte? El ambiente y el servicio.

Gorgeous cafe right next to my beauticians, needed to kill 20 minutes, I popped in and was greeted so warmly and kindly, asked if I was staying in or out, I was staying in, asked if I would like a menu, I declined and asked for a decaf oat latte with caramel, I was sat and within minutes was served with a beautiful caramel decaf oat latte, the music is chilled out tunes, the decor wonderful, 10/10 5 stars will be back!

Una buena parada en un viaje por carretera para un poco de desayuno. Excelentes bocadillos de bagel y café. Encantador. Muy recomendable si estás cerca.
