Fantastic food and service. Great value for a three course meal wine and drinks. Such friendly and genuine service, so sadly lacking in many restaurants today. Thoroughly recommend.

A really cute cafe and the cake is great. Service was fast and pretty good. However, we did feel rushed . Especially when 2 of us were still drinking our drinks and the girl dropped the bill on the table. But pretty good altogether. EDIT: I left this review before we left however I’ve decided to change it, whilst still waiting and sitting, the girl came over and pushed the card machine at me whilst asking if I was ready to pay whilst I was looking at the receipt. I wasn’t the one planning on paying however I felt very awkward as the machine had been pushed at me. My dad did offer to pay in cash, however it felt really awkward. And then the asking for tip was quite pushy and honestly just ruined the whole experience with how pushy one of the staff was and pushed out the door we were.

Live Cheese in York is a dream for cheese lovers! We popped in after dinner since we skipped dessert and fancied a cheese board instead. We picked three cheeses and let our server choose the rest every single one was amazing! The quality was top notch, and the whole experience was super relaxed and enjoyable. So glad we stopped by definitely recommend!
