My twin brother Stephen and I were waiting for the train back to Leeds from York Railway Station and in the concourse was a great cafe we spotted called Coffee Time and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a light, airy and modern railway station cafe, nice decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe,a cool place to kill time waiting for our train. We ordered a flat white coffee each, served steaming hot, we just kicked back and went over the great day out we had just had out in York. My coffee was really good, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, a really pleasant brew. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we caught our train and for a first time visit to Coffee Time we were totally impressed. Coffee Time is easy to locate in York Railway Station. Most definitely well worth seeking out if you find yourself in this historic railway station.

Absolutely spot on, £5.50 for a breakfast with a mug of tea or coffee and you can double up for £1... Best value breakfast around and all quality ingredients.

Recommended by two of our sons, we had a most enjoyable evening at Pairings in York, with great wine and food. Our sommelier Ellie, was exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic about both the wines and the food. She gave us really great insights into both which enhanced the whole experience at Pairings. Highly recommend and we really hope to return in the not too distant future. We only wish there was a Pairings restaurant nearer to where we live. Thank you so much!

Great local cafe with a small menu but still provides a good choice. More for locals, although we have visited on a few occasions when visiting friends. Good atmosphere and everyone are very friendly.

Lovely little cafe, helpful friendly staff. But the eggs Benedict for me just wasn’t up there with the rest of the food they serve 👎🏼 half toasted muffin, thick cuts of gammon (when asked for bacon) and swimming in hollandaise 3/5⭐️ customer suggestion: maybe serve eggs Benedict on sour dough toast and have the holladaise in a pouring dish so customer can add them selfs. As I stated at begin of the review lovely cafe friendly staff even made me a frappe which wasn’t on the menu and that was yummy just really disappointed about my brunch order
