The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Helmsley Ryedale Yorkshire and The Humber

Popped in here for a bit of lunch after visiting the Castle, it was busy but the service was both swift and friendly. Really enjoyed the food, I had the Steak Burger the wife had a Tuna Sandwich, both excellent sized portions and freshly made, great value for money I thought and I could be a honoury tight Yorkshireman so I'm told. Only slight drawback for some was that it was a bit crowded but not overly so. Would definitely go again if back in the area, recommend it to anyone for a swift bite to eat.

Outstanding !!!! A place not to be missed we had an amazing breakfast .. Pancakes , Full English and poached eggs on toast .. service was fantastic the waitress couldn’t have been better! Thank you so much we will be back !!

Amazing evening at Angel’s share, such a lovely atmosphere. The cocktails were incredible and Salv was an amazing host, so welcoming and lovely to chat to. Such a gem, would highly recommend.

I visited with a friend for Sunday lunch. They managed to fit us in despite being very busy. Excellent and friendly service. The food was exquisite. Good portion size and delicious.

Stayed a couple of nights as B&B guests. Lovely big room and large ensuite bathroom with both a roll top bath and 'wet room' shower. Huge comfortable bed. Very enjoyable stay - the couple who own it went above and beyond in making it a delightful place to stay. Breakfast is in the cafe - they don't do fried 'English breakfast' but you choose what you want from the cafe menu. Good coffee - was needed after a heavy night out in Helmsley.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and amazing staff, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it, highly recommend 😊

Been here so many times for our ice creams. The choice is extensive and the quality outstanding. By far the best ice cream in the county. Definitely 5* Lunch in the Black Swan and an ice cream waffle cone from here afterwards is the perfect finish before the drive back home.

Really friendly and tasty fare. Plenty of choice which was a real representation of good Yorkshire fare. Reasonably priced too

Wandered over for Tuesday's grill night and we decided to go for it with my partner an eye on the gluten free selections, she opted for the sirloin steak, whereas I went with the mixed grill.....Good job we brought our appetites! The sirloin steak was enormous and cooked (medium rare) to perfection and when mine arrived (even though I have a very healthy appetite) I was staggered at the selection and sheer quantity of delicious BBQ's meat, again cooked to perfection and every morsel testier than the last! We were both so full that thoughts of the dessert menu melted away. Bravo to the chef, he did a marvellous to serve up food that won't quickly be forgotten!

Warm, people and doggie friendly😊 Super menu caters for wide range of tastes including a great vegetarian/vegans😊 Food all freshly prepared and great value. Would highly recommend.

Ordered the Brie & Bacon and cranberry Sandwich, it was missing the Cranberry so may have been the most tasteless thing I’ve ever ate. Ordered a pudding, the crumble, came with about a shot size of custard. This is the same for the Inn Collection Kings head, thinking it’s a recurring theme to avoid these pubs ! ☹️

El entorno es impecable, y la calidez, la decoración y el saludo a su llegada es de primera clase. Comenzamos compartiendo el rarebit como un mordisco, muy sabroso y bueno para tomar con nuestras bebidas, luego entrantes de souffle dos veces horneado, y buñuelos de pez monje, de nuevo encantadores y sabrosos. Platos principales, de bacalao con mejillones para mí, y el cassoulet y pato para mi marido, disfrutamos PERO, mi trozo de bacalao por £ 23 era probablemente 3 pulgadas de grande, la salsa era sabrosa con unos 2 mejillones en ella, el principal de mi marido, de nuevo muy sabroso, se sirvió en el tazón más pequeño, así que fue incómodo probar los diferentes componentes de su comida. Normalmente termino con un postre, pero después de haber visto el tamaño de las porciones que se ofrecen a otras mesas, decidí que el precio no justificaría pedir uno. Antes de que juzgues mis comentarios, puedo asegurarte que grandes porciones no me impresionan, sin embargo, sí me gusta sentir que he comido bien.
