The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

This is sort of our local for Sunday Breakfast and takeaway coffee and cakes on dog walks. Never disappoints food always good and friendly staff

Went in whilst shopping at next staff seemed engaged in conversation with there selves instead of dealing with customers. Went in for a quiet coffee the place seemed chaotic and not relaxing at all.

Called "off the cuff"as it was raining & at least 5 tables undercover were free plus a large table with the umbrella down vacated. Greeted at the door by a young female asking if we had a booking.On answering no just told quite abruptly were fully booked !!! Did not attempt to ask more senior staff to clarify if we could have had a drink. Not very impressedTo quote Freddie Mercury..is this the world we have created !!!

got overcharged for an ice cream when it should have been £3 and got charged £9.25 instead and when I went to tell a member of staff I was told to speak to the manager and got told she was busy so I had to leave my name and number and said she will ring me soon. I never got a phone call and it’s been 3 days now of the repeat so my advice to you is if you go there please do not make any payments on card as you may be charged more then for what you actually payed for

Called in late afternoon after a long journey. The place was freezing cold inside ! Ordered the delicious sounding homemade lemonade but was told quite bluntly no, no one ever orders it! Also ordered a homemade scone and asked for it to be served cold but was rudely told that they had to be microwaved from frozen. Wouldn’t recommend or go back but it did provide us with a bit of Fawlty Towers type entertainment! Sadly, judging by other reviews this wasn’t a one-off.

we've had a static caravan here since 2006. It's been great. I brought my 2 children here when they were quite small and we've loved it and now I've started again with another small child we were looking forward to similar enjoyable times. We've always had a niggle about the cost of keeping a van here, at £2400pa its quite expensive. We share the cost with other family members and share the time accordingly so it helps. The site is great, nice bars, amusements and pool etc. However, for the last couple of years there seems to have been a change of management attitude. We've had issues with certain things here and there and seen considerable penny pinching by them lately. Our biggest gripe is how they have taken advantage of the Coronavirus pandemic. It really says something about an organisation that uses a crisis to push up their profits. Pitch fees are paid for the coming season upfront but having missed 40% of the season, a compensation package of 15% reduction on 2021 fees is pitiful. There may be several waves of this pandemic which could easily run into next season. I think the site owners may use tempting offers for new customers but they certainly don't look after existing ones. There will be at least one new pitch available next season because we won't be renewing for next year

Ate in here a couple of times and food at Greggs is always good and don’t usually rate chains but staff at this one were really good and spent a lot of time helping a group of people with learning difficulties ( sorry if not pc correct) with their selections before us which frustrated a few customers behind us but I just watched and though good on you. Would have got five stars but my colleague had to keep getting up to close door which people kept leaving open due to faulty door closer. Please get door sorted

Muy pobre comida vegana. Puré de salchichas y salsa. Acabo de calentar x cosas congeladas. El gusto era soso. Tardó más de 25 minutos en llegar y parecía terrible. El Guinness era bueno

La comida y el servicio era excelente, pero el nivel de ruido era inaceptable. Creo que el lugar podría hacer con unos cuantos paneles de absorción de ruido

Went in for the rugby and although it was on you couldn’t hear it because of the extremely loud music. No one was dancing but the music continued at a very loud volume. Food ok and bar staff friendly but wouldn’t go back again.

A bit tired downstairs but staff were excellent. Enjoyed my coffee! 😊
