We all had cooked breakfast n it was cold all 3 I had a hot chocolate n that was cold aswell even the toast was cold not good not cumming again not happy cost £20

First time visit at 9.15am Ordered 2 full English breakfasts which despite being fairly busy came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Apart from the hash browns everything else was warm, I’m a fast eater but even then by the time I was halfway down the beans were stone cold. If it had all been piping hot I reckon it would have been excellent as it was nicely cooked and not greasy. Coffee was nice but the tea was dreadful. Dirty teapots & awful uht milk.

Went with some work colleagues for lunch. Ordered the fish chips and mushy peas. The chips were over cooked, the fish so over cooked the batter was hard and it wouldn't cut with the knife, the peas were awful. The whole meal delivered was like warm. Staff not friendly at all and spent more time chatting with each other than customer care. Will never use again id rather support local small café.

The was average and the cutlery was grubby when challenged on it they claimed it because of the local hardwater and the staff were grumpy and un welcoming

Ordered at Hull store Holderness road 1 tea good quality and price I coffee , not the best but OK 1 prawn mayonnaise sandwich, prawns OK, bread OK but the mayonnaise was disgusting 1 toasted brie sandwich, poor quality and uneatable 2 pecan fudge buns, they were dry and tasted if they were days old Summary Would not visit a morrisons cafe ever again unless their quality improves The staff and service was excellent

We went for breakfast at the morrisons cafe on holderness Road in Hull. I went for the ultimate breakfast, which consists of 2 toast, 2 mushrooms, fried bread, 2 bacon , 3 sausage, 2 hash browns, and a pot of beans . The fried bread was very greasy. The mushrooms were very woody, and everything else was OK. The staff are lovely and very friendly. However, there weren't a lot of them. Very short staffed. Not good enough.

Went today for a cuppa & a snack. I had a tea cake which was nice, but my sons Fish & chips was gorgeous. Fresh white haddock, crispy batter & red hot chips. The cafe looked lovely and clean & seemed to be well staffed. Really pleasantly surprised 😊

Visited the cafe today with my parents there wasn't much options off the menu, didn't see any staff, no condiments. Staff wasn't very nice

visit cafe weekly used to be much better. last visit tables weren't cleared of dirty plates. Today loaded tray with sandwiches and cake to be told when reached till......"no coffee" What!! ,

My wife and I eat here regularly and are always baffled as to why the meal is always spoilt by the bacon being cold which tells us that it must have been cooked earlier and simply left until orders are placed? Obviously this is very simply rectified, please take note and sort this out as it really does spoil a very good breakfast as we both agree that the quality of the food is very good. Hopefully someone in the cafeteria reads the comments and our next breakfast will arrive with hot bacon, we will have to wait and see?

Came into your store MORRISONS on holderness Road on 15/01/2021 and noticed 3 of your staff not wearing face masks of any kind at all 1 of the staff WAS going from checkout to checkout it says on the media most supermarkets will refuse entry to shoppers not wearing a mask you cannot do this when your own staff do not follow the same procedure.

Just popped in for 2 takeaway breakfasts I normal and a ultimate. The ultimate had half the stuff missing. And the bacon was inedible Please stay away

Arrived at 1.30 pm and very busy, Picked a selection of sandwiches, chips, and cakes. Picked scones but had no jam. Enjoyed what we had. This was going to be an afternoon treat for my young niece, so a bit disappointment when I was told afternoon tea wasn't available. Surprised at the price (eat out offer)

We visited today hoping to have some food, there was tables cordoning off some of the service counter. After waiting 10 in the queue the people in front were told they couldn’t have have anything fried as the didn’t have a working fryer. The place was a mess plates all over, no choice of drinks. Someone should have taken the decision to close. And at least tell the queue that there was nothing for sale! We left.

I went here on a quiet night hoping for a nice vegan meal for myself and omni food for my nephew and neice. Upon talking to the staff I unfortunately found out many of the options I was wanting were not available. The food was mediocre and would rather have gone to wetherspoons though with kids eating free per adult it was an okay deal. The staff member that brought us our food was polite. It was an ok and unrememberable meal of sweet potato curry with a drink. However the dessert was nice and of a decent size. Overall I would rate this 3 stars.

love Morrisons get everything I need there plus there is a cafe which serves lite bites big meals and lovely cuppas worth a visit

No other words than absolutely disgusting!went to the toilet with my little brother to find that every toilet was in this state, the smell was horrendous,never going here again !

Visited here recently for a quick bite, bacon sandwich more fat than bacon, coffee almost cold, took it back for a fresh one almost the same cold, told the duty manager uninterested.

My wife and I enjoy the breakfast here very much but today was a total disaster, not just for us but for many others too. It was quite clear that the staff in general did not have the training to cope with the amount of people visiting the restaurant side of the store. My wife joined the small queue to order our two breakfasts and spent over 5 minutes waiting until the 3 people in front of her had placed their orders and was told that there were no sausages available ( this due to brexit?) which seemed a little odd as we discovered later that the store had plenty of them for sale. I discovered that there was no milk available only cream and informed my wife who asked the lady taking the orders if they had any milk she confirmed that she would check and returned to the till with a box of small milk containers. I also noticed that there were no small plates available, I much prefer to have my toast sesperate rather than having it on top of my breakfast but the lady on the till told me they hadn't been put out yet, how could they sell cakes and other products with nothing to put them on? My question was quickly answered when I saw a couple carrying their purchases on serviettes! During the next 35 minutes my wife and I sat waiting for our breakfast to arrive which was a little puzzling as there wasn't a lot of customers about and other people waiting were becoming quite agitated about the wait so much so that one couple simply put their coats on and left their table and walked out of the store. They were followed by a table of three who asked for their money back as they had waited long enough and I witnessed the money being transferred to the gentlemans bank card before he left the store with his two companians. Two further couples began complaing about the long wait when the waitress finally brought our breakasts and announced that unfortunately they had 'ran out' of tomatoes - my goodness is this brexit again! The breakfast looked well presented (as usual) but the butter resting on top of my toast was frozen solid, so much so that I had to hold it in my hands until it had melted enough to spread on my toast, it didn't help that my toast was also extremely cold together with the bacon,beans,egg and ash Brown, this was also the case with my wife's breakfast. Another very dissapointing feature of the visit was the state of the restaurant, it was more than clear that it hadn't been dusted for some time, the shelves holding the coloured tea pots were literally covered in dust which is not a good advert when food is involved. So,staff training a must,employing people who are capable of doing the job and cleaners who care! Problem solved and comments will improve!

I visited the store across lunch time today, before starting my shopping I needed to visit the lady’s toiletsWhat an unbelievable experience with blocked loos, human waste on view, toilet paper everywhere and the smell was simply disgustingNo attendant on the Customer Service desk in the main entrance was available and customers were encouraged to join the que for cigarettes in order to get served.Once I started shopping there was no attendant available on the fresh cream chillers. It turned out to be a disappointing and a shambolic shopping experience and certainly did nothing to promote Morrison’s brand, products or service and certainly did not meet my own expectations

My son and I went for lunch, we have not visited for a while thus were greeted with a card machine to order our food. No-one was doing this and with no lights on it I joined the long queue for the one till to order my food and drink. The lady on the till was very busy and forgot to ask if my son wanted a sundae with his children's meal and due to the queue I was not going back. Whilst sat waiting for my meal I did not witness anyone using the card machine to order their meal. Why is it not like in the post office where they have a staff member around to encourage and show people how to use this. Alternatively set up another till.

We often pop in here for lunch, great value, lots of choices, we normally have sandwiches and a nice cup of coffee. Staff very friendly.

Cutlery was disgusting when we last came and my jacket potato was blackened to the point in which the skin was coming off it. Not great. We have been previously for a full English and these were great however it seems they have changed the sausages and they aren't as good as they were.

Working nearby so popped in for a breakfast couldn’t fault it really could have been a bit cheaper and thrown in the hot drink with the breakfast but still a decent breakfast

We called in here for convenience and had an acceptable meal. The ordering system takes a little bit of learning as you order at a desk then take a number to go and pay. You are given another numbered disk to display on your table. It works fine. I would happily use this cafe again.

Have been for a meal before and no problems. This time ordered breakfast which arrived within minutes the eggs were like rubber the toast was burnt and the whole lot was just thrown on the plate.The cafe was not busy so there was no excuse for the way it was served. The meal would not have been served like this at their Anlaby branch

Love shopping here and also the cafe. Lovely cup of tea and food at very reasonable prices. Great when your busy and need a break from shopping.

Daughter had the lasagne which she enjoyed I had the fish and chips it wasn't good. Chips were hard and the fish was hard the peas were ok. The staff weren't the friendliest obviously wanting to go home. Eaten here before and had great experience of staff and food. Great face lift but need to spend time and money on quality of food and training of staff...Not the same and I will not be back

Good choice of breakfasts. Just make sure you know if toast is included before you order more!! All seems freshly cooked and very enjoyable. Would recommend.

Came here for breakfast and coffee. Great selection of food and nice coffee. Not bad prices. Do a lovely kids lunch deal were you get drink, sandwich, fruit and crisps. I have morrisons more card and often get offers for kids to eat free.

Very busy cafe leading to a long wait to order and receive food. Very average breakfast and not value for money, would not recommend.

We arrived later than anticipated to order jacket potatoes. The young man who served us was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I enquirer if I could get an extra salad bowl and he went into the kitchen to source one. A credit to the company, I'm sorry I didn't catch his name at the time. The server of the food was friendly as well, the type of service you'd expect from a family run cafe not a large organisation.The food was hot and ample sized portions. Very reasonably priced £11 for two portions of jacket potatoes extra coleslaw and salad and tea and coffee. We will be back. Thank you Morrisons.

Considering the time of year being just before Christmas I was surprised at how well stocked morrisons was. Not a long wait at the tills either. But I don't usually shop here because the staff are miserable and the service poor

I went with my family and had an amazing experience. There is so much food to offer and is many seating areas. The staff are great and are very helpful. The food is a very good standard and there isn't really anything to complain about. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I visited the Morrison on black day sale to buy drinks for Christmas but when I visit after work the sold out most drink and visited the for food is always great for quick food and tea .

Tables always full of people's left overs I had to wipe table myself with hot water when I eventually found one! They need more staff!

Most staff tut when they are trying to get by with stock trolleys, seriously guys why do you lugg these trolleys around at busy times? I've been shopping here year most of my hard earned wages get spent here.... one thing Ive whitenessed a lot is the attitude of the security men , tall guy with white,grey hair n small guy with glasses all they seen to do is stand chatting to staff, not even blinking when door alarms go off ect, felt sorry for a group of lads as I was getting served and the lads were happily picking out their beers ect the security men was loudly heard say how they better have i.d of they can **** off back to their mummy's! Disgusting

we go regularly shopping in morrisons ,and cheap petrol save money the cafe also good food and good service too

Its Morisons for heavens sake. Just a big shop with a cafe, wasnt expecting 4 star food and I wasnt dissapointed. Does what it says on the side.

Thought we would pop in for a quick bite to eat and was told by the person taking the order there would be a 20 minute wait, which we said was fine however 35 minute later still no sign of our food, when it finally arrived my jacket potato was stone cold so I asked for it to be changed, then my granddaughter could not bite into her garlic bread and when I felt it, it was rock hard. I told the girl behind the till that I would be e_mailing head office as the service and food where very below standard. Come on Morrison's you can do better than that !!!

Just visited the cafe and let's just say I won't b goin AGAIN!!!! The service at the till was good but was told there was a 15min wait which was fine, but when the food arrived my daughters spaghetti bolognese looked very dry and me and my husband ordered hunters chicken and it was suppose to b wrapped in bacon but there wasn't any on mine and on it was just a cheese slice slapped on the top. We also purchased an ice cream but had to ask 4times before we got it and it was only a cheap screwball sat in a ice cream glass. Very disappointing and will never return

We called here for breakfast after we left the Rotterdam to Hull ferry. We arrived just after 8 as soon as the shop opened but our breakfast arrived quickly and was delicious.

Quite poor really, it's a small meal so expected everything on it to be perfect but bacon was like trying to eat leather, hard and couldn't even get a fork through it!

Normally shop at the Anlaby store and on occasions have eaten in the cafe where the food is hot and well cooked

I take my parents on a thursday before we go shopping. don't know why we go there, the staff can be a bit ignorant,the coffee machine is always on the blink the food is sometimes cold you wait along time don't like going but my parents think it is convient don't like at all.
