we've had a static caravan here since 2006. It's been great. I brought my 2 children here when they were quite small and we've loved it and now I've started again with another small child we were looking forward to similar enjoyable times. We've always had a niggle about the cost of keeping a van here, at £2400pa its quite expensive. We share the cost with other family members and share the time accordingly so it helps. The site is great, nice bars, amusements and pool etc. However, for the last couple of years there seems to have been a change of management attitude. We've had issues with certain things here and there and seen considerable penny pinching by them lately. Our biggest gripe is how they have taken advantage of the Coronavirus pandemic. It really says something about an organisation that uses a crisis to push up their profits. Pitch fees are paid for the coming season upfront but having missed 40% of the season, a compensation package of 15% reduction on 2021 fees is pitiful. There may be several waves of this pandemic which could easily run into next season. I think the site owners may use tempting offers for new customers but they certainly don't look after existing ones. There will be at least one new pitch available next season because we won't be renewing for next year

We have a static caravan here but on the other side of the road, on the Anchorage. We were over on the Fir Tree side originally with a touring caravan and after a year we decided that we enjoyed it there so much that we wanted a more permanent holiday home, so we bought a static caravan with them. The Fir Tree side is great, with a bar that has a children's and adults side with great children's entertainment on weekends. There's a bar on both sizes, TVs and plenty of places to sit. There's also the arcade room, which does need updating as a couple of the games have been out of order for a while. The on site indoor pool is very nice, a decent size and very clean, there are always lifeguards about, often 2 or 3 when it's busy. It's very fun on weekends during the 'splash' sessions when all of the inflatables come out. There's also a small play area park outside for kids. The on site shop sells everything - sweets, milk, bread, alcohol, food, toys etc and the ginger cat that is always in there is very loving and cute. The only thing about the shop is that it runs out of stock quickly and they don't order more in straight away so we end up having to go to another nearby shop. We enjoyed it over on the Fir Tree side and we enjoy it now on the Anchorage, much more private and spacious with your own concrete parking spot. However, when we chose to go over there we were told by James that the Wi-Fi would be stronger over there, which it should be for the extra price that we're paying to stay on that side compared to the Fir Tree side. However the internet is still extremely poor, often we're unable to even connect and when we do it's weak. The noise from the brewery past the trees gets irritating but that's no fault of the park's. The website states that the holiday park is 'a stone's throw away' from Bridlington town centre, this is not right. It's a 45 minute walk at least to the town, so if you have trouble walking and don't have a car then you'll be spending most of your time on buses, which come hourly. The nearest bus stop is a 10 minute walk away at the end of Jewison Lane. A short drive away is Flamborough and Bempton cliffs which are lovely places for a day out. Overall we enjoy it here and have had a fab couple of years here.

We bought on this site this year and enjoyed every minute.Cannot understand peoples moan about the clubhouse The bar staff are friendly and chatty - only gripe is drink prices are more expensive than the pub down the road. We ate most weekends al least once in the bar and found the food good ,large portions (sometimes too large) and of good quality - the steak pie is to die for . Sunday lunch is good value and plentiful. Cannot understand what people are moaning about , are they looking for 5* silver service for their food at the end of the day its a place to feed the family without leaving the site. Looking forward to March next year when the site reopens

The bar at this place could not be less friendly if it tried. The older man behind the bar was so rude and took offence to our kids dancing on the dance floor! He took offence to us making up a game due to the the lack of entertainment, this is not somewhere you should bring your kids. The young girls who were on earlier in the week were much more accommodating and helpful but once the manager was working, it was pure buzz killington! If you’re looking for something for your kids to do, go to a different place! They don’t want to be here and it’s obvious! There was a sign up in the pool saying that the lifeguard could not be present at all times which I’m sure breaks health and safety regulations! There was a basket at the side of the pool with floats in and it was not sufficiently secured to the wall, causing it to fall down onto our 6 year olds head, the lifeguard (between taking money for entries and “watching” the swimmers) couldn’t not offer an explanation, nor did he apologise!

Bought our caravan here last year and it is a lovely site with a nice clubhouse and facilities. However after enquiring how long our food would be tonight after an hours wait, we were told it would be another 15 minutes so asked if we could have it to go as we had a young child with us who was getting tired. We were then told by a member of the bar staff (in the children's part) 'your food will be f#"*&!g 30 minutes f#"*&!g deal with it!'... We can honestly say we will never be setting foot in the club again.

If you are looking at buying a caravan do your research first. We bought a caravan on here 6 years ago for 20k. We enjoyed the caravan but rarely went into the clubhouse. The food was average and the family bar is dated. They spend very little on the family areas but the adult bar has been revamped 3 times in 6 years. There isn't a committee on this site so basically you can complain but it gets filed in the bin. The site for statics is open from first weekend in March to the last weekend in November. However, the facilities are only open from April to October (no swimming pool or bars for 2 month). The staff on the site and at the head office have a put up or shut up attitude. We decided this year to sell up as the ground rent has consistently increased over the 6 years with no improvement to the site. We got offered 3k (a huge loss). If you want to sell privately you have to pay the site 15% and the buyers has to pay an extra 1k per year in ground rent. We decided to cut our losses and move on. The site looks lovely and clean and quiet but if anything does go wrong nobody is bothered. Desperately needs a committee so they have to resolve problems.

My first visit to this park, need a car as it is a way out of Bridlington and never saw local transport coming passed. The onsite shop is sparse, the swimming pool was good,(we were the only one's using it at the time)..Grounds look well maintained. A mix of private and hire caravans.

I can not complain at all, not only was the food delicious, yet the service we received was simultaneously quick and perfect. The bar staff are really nice when you get talking to them, one especially but I cannot remember his name unfortunately. He has black/brown hair but I digress, We visited on Saturday night and to say how busy it was, we was rather impressed with how the staff dealt with us. Would definitely recommend, 5 star and we shall return!

What rubbish. Value for money not!. Site very money orientated take, take, take. Family side of bar like Butlings canteen disgusting. Tables not cleaned and food all over floor. Staff too busy chatting at bar to clean up! Nothing for teenage children to do. Not Allowed in adults side since the re vamp which is disgusting as they are far too old for the team Oscar entertainment but are not trusted to be responsible to sit with their parents and enjoy the surroundings. Very sad. This site is not family orientated at all playground very outdatedand in parts very dangerous. Only gave it 1 star because I had to. Do not recommend at all.

Sunday lunch is absolutely fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The caravan park is well looked after. My last visit here was 5 years ago. I cant believe the difference in it now. The bar areas are very trendy and welcoming. Swimming pool is great. The two men in charge I think they are called Nigel and Eamon are so friendly and helpful and cant do enough for you. I asked them how long they had been working at this park and I think they said about 5 years. I told them I hadn't seen the park looking as nice as it does and so clean and lovely plants dotted around the site. Definitely 5* now. I was also impressed with the dustbin areas now they are fenced off.

As we have a caravan on here we eat at the club quite often. Last week was the first time this season and we weren't disappointed. The wife had the lasagne and I had the pie and chips, both very tasty and good value.
