Great atmosphere good cheap drinking a bit rough and ready one or two had a few too many but if like a bit of a sing and a dance this is what it's all about

Just a very down to earth pub, beers not to dear,good atmosphere.

Watch the male that works behind the bar and who djs as when I ordered 1 drink he charged me more than the price and double so the manager had to look into this after he denied what he had done then it turned out he had well over charged me so be aware of this person who might end up with your money at the end of the night.

I was on a day out from Beverley where I live I really enjoyed my time in there the barman gave me stamp card even though I said I was on day out got talknig to an ex fisherman areally imteresting guy to talk to I also spoke to a lovely lady in their as well I felt very safe as I am a bit of a wus a really great guy behind the bar and will definately go again a really friendly environment I'm sorry I didn't score the food as only drank there Lastly I thoroughly recomend the pub

Decent pub, decent beer and prices

Only popped in for a couple of pints in the afternoon. A need for a bit of seating refurbishment but nice friendly atmosphere from staff and what seemed to be mostly locals. Nice to go to a seaside pub serving drinks at probably less than average prices.

Went in here after retail therapy to meet up my husband who was in there already. What let the experience down was the interaction with the young man behind the bar when our daughter ordered a J20. Said she needed ID! For a soft drink was my question? People were in watching the Leeds football match but really his attitude doesn't attract people to feel welcome. People in the pub were very friendly and welcoming just a real shame the bar man couldn't be the same.

Great atmosphere and the prices are really good! Cost us £3.20 for a pint what a bargain. Was a great karaoke on (also fab 80s music in between and dancing). However, I did find the locals did get on quite a lot. I got on twice, but some got on loads, sometimes again and again, without even having to wait, which did seem a bit unfair. Apart from that, we had a really good night (this was a Thursday).

Managed to lose my phone on Friday the 19th of July (while sober!) Asked around the places I had been but to no avail. I just checked my Google location data and my phone was here from 2.43pm on Friday till 11.35am on Saturday. So New Inn, who left at 11.35am? They had my phone.

A cheap as chips craft union house but the beer is fantastic. It shows a variety of live sports at the same time. Children are not allowed at any time which can be a bonus sometimes. At the moment John Smith's is only £2.25 and with a loyalty card it's buy 8 get the next one free. 👍

Wow the worst behaviour I've seen seen by a customer today. A great big lump of lard shouting about with very limited vocabulary skills. Every second word was an expletive. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. Bar staff great, he must be a local who spends loads as in my local he'd last as long as he'd take eating a bag of scampi fries. What a horrible loud individual. He should stay and drink smart price lager in his caravan. Unreal,

To the v patient barmaid who looked after my grey coat behind the bar as well as myself.. a credit to you for being so nice with me as I behaved like such an idiot so publicly saying i am v sry to you and your staff... It's a lovely pub! I hope I can visit again sober!

We are local and this is the second time my husband has been accosted by security in the last couple of months purely for having his vape on show. Tonight I came from the loo’s as we were leaving and again security were on his case, he has never vaped in any pub/club/eating place yet they felt the need to accuse him, and when we were talking to them, the aggression and eye rolling from them made the situation worse. Obviously our face doesn’t fit as this is not the first occurrence yet always happens after we have spent our money in there.

I've had to give this post zero stars for food, as I didn't have the food (Google eh?). Pub was lovely. Comfortable, good beer, lively. Allows dogs. Simple couple of afternoon beers after a walk on the beach. =Excellent.

Not the best pub in Bridlington, not the worst pub in Bridlington. It's a little dirty and worn, staff are nice.

As a working class Scottish lad I am generally comfortable in ordinary, slightly dowdy pubs, but this one beat me. The strong smell of cannabis and the groups of unkempt youths at the bar certainly didn’t make it feel welcoming and a quick pint was more than enough.

Just moved to Bridgnorth. A single woman on her own. The staff are so friendly . The atmosphere is really lovely. As a single woman. I feel safe here. Dogs allowed. And outside is humongous which I didn't realise until recently. Thank you to all staff for making me feel so welcome.

A good pub in the very heart of Bridlington. It can get pretty busy and a bit crowded on a weekend but there is karaoke, a lively atmosphere and good staff who work very hard.

Pub was OK but not very disabled friendly could not get our friends wheel chair in to gents so had to carry him in took a lot of abuse from one of the customer's that was asked to wait not a very good experience spend some money and make the door bigger to acomidate the disabled

Looks like a good old traditional pub from the outside but don't expect any real ales here. More like a local sports bar complete with ultra sticky tables..

May have some good reviews but is an overall very rough pub. Too overcrowded and just not a very good vibe. It puts brid to shame definitely not going again.

Banging pub, awesome atmosphere

This is not a scooter or wheelchair friendly bar due to the outside step. no disabled toilets - no craft beers on pump & no coffees or food. The Google photos are not from inside this pub & no food served. very misleading. Its a local sports bar which is great for that purpose

Good beer. Great atmosphere, always go in when we are in the area. The ladies toilets need sorting out. There are only two and one was out of order, the other toilet was a mess and there was water everywhere.

Belting little pub great staff and very reasonable priced

Very disappointed with yesterday's visit, been in quite a few times in the past, yesterday I had one pint of John Smith's that was terrible, took an age to settle and left a nasty taste in my mouth, the toilets were absolutely disgusting, urine all over the floor and excrement all over the cubicle, will not be returning.

It's the worst pub in bridlington the toilet floors were covered in urine. The bar staff look like they cannot be bothered the music is way too loud like another review says there are definitely dealers dealing and underage drinking going on the bouncer outside looks like he doesn't know the day of the week or the month and is as much use as a handbrake on a boat

Went in over the bank holiday and it had a good atmosphere, great prices and brilliant karaoke. Would have been 5 stars but the lady with the shaved head was a bit rude. When someone had taken our drinks while we were dancing I told her and she just said tough and walked away but luckily another staff member stepped in and brought them back to us.

Usually a relatively okay pub, bit pricey with a small selection of drinks. The karaoke is a bit loud but good for a laugh. However on the 03/06/22 I was out with 15+ for a birthday which was ruined by the disrespectful demeanour of the bar staff including the landlady. I don't usually post on negative reviews however I am disgusted at the way we were spoken to. There is no signage to explain there is a need to put £5 deposit on ques for pool. We began playing the next turn paying £1 for the balls which we were not refund. Moments later we were accosted by a small bald chap who demand £5 with little explanation. He stood between us and the table aggressively refusing to move. I don't carry cash after COVID as it's safer to use card. When I offered to pay by card the man refused. I tried to use my property such as my phone to use as a token of goodwill and he continued to refuse. After some time I put all the balls back, my dad threw my que onto the table walking away from the situation as the balled chap was trying to use aggressive body language to insight violence. Moments later a bouncer told me I needed to leave, I was obviously confused and upset. we had a conversation where I explained what happend and he let me finish my drink. This whole thing was humiliating and never needed escalate to the level it did. I hope the fella behind the bar is happy with himself, losing 15+ customers in 10 minutes. To make matters worse when my partner spoke to the landladys about what had just happens they laughed in her face saying "how do you survive without carrying cash" and "no you can't have the pound back it's only a quid". I most certainly won't be returning to this place as it seems to be stuck in the dark ages still using cash and only serving such a small variety of drinks.
