The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Booked prior to the day to ensure a table. Took elderly father out for a roast as mum is in hospital. Arrived on time, not many people dining. A burly chap stood at door of entrance who pointed out our seats after taking payment for food. Ordered 2 IPAs and a wine. Got seated, dad said his beer was shocking. It looked cloudy like scrumpy. Hubby agreed said it was off. Didn't have any bitter on draft only choice was IPA. I said take it back but neither could be bothered making a scene. He added for our carvery, noticed most people who'd eaten had left plates of food. I had small carvery and could only have a small slice of beef which was stewed in water. Hubby's Turkey was so dry it was just crumbs. Asked for roasts but told they'd run out. It was only 3pm! No veg replenished, cabbage woody, it was just appalling and the gravy was so watered down it was tasteless. Highly dissapointed and wouldn't reccomend. Definitely won't be returning, was bad enough experiencing it once. It's not gonna last.

Este lugar ha pasado por algunos cambios de nombre recientemente, de Abda, a Crust Heaven y ahora a Viet Tasty, pero ha sido la misma compañía en todo momento. Creo que el nombre actual le queda mejor que los demás. Puedes oler este lugar mientras pasas, huele increíble y la comida es igual de buena. Prefiero el Banh Mi aquí incluso a los de Banh & Mee en el mercado de Kirkgate (aunque estos son un poco más caros). Parece un restaurante barato desde el exterior, pero no te dejes llevar – ven y echa un vistazo a uno de sus fantásticos bocadillos. Recomiendo la ternera, aunque todas las que he probado han estado geniales. Fantastic.

Having been twice before we decided to go again after the afternoon at the theatre. At 5pm it was rowdy and the service was terrible. It was full of groups doing bottomless brunch. Not a suitable place for a family to dine. The swearing and behaviour was terrible and the restaurant didn’t do anything to control it or to keep families separate. Waited 15 mins to order drinks and another 10 mins is for them to be served. Amongst other things we ordered king prawns in shells… no napkins, no finger bowl. We had to ask twice for a napkin. Meanwhile our prawns went cold. We also ordered a pasta dish with chicken. The chicken didn’t come. So had to ask for that. When it arrived I’d finished the pasta and was left with chicken. We ordered two aperol spritz - they tasted like soda with hardly any aperol and certainly no Prosecco. They did correct them and they were then nice - but it’s not that hard to make a nice aperol. Service was slow on top of the mishaps. The staff are all barely out of school and just don’t care. One positive was that the food was nice. I wouldn’t return unless they sorted the staff out as I think this is what the issues boil down to. The staff they’ve chosen and the lack of management is going to unfortunately ruin the reputation of this nice restaurant. Rethink the bottomless brunch/decide what you want to be. You can’t be both a nice classy restaurant and offer bottomless brunch - not at least without separating the two and having some noise control.

Went to watch Sam Lewis who was great but seating arrangements were strange all sat in two long lines with some seats so far away that they could not see the stage. The curtains behind the stage were hanging down and looked awful messy. The staff were strict and told us off for being too loud! All a bit strange but a great night was had by all.

Been here loads now for their Bottomless Brunch. They do quizzes and entertainment and the brunches are by far the best I've ever been to. I've been to loads in Leeds but these guys have just got it right. The best time and the most laughs ever

Mother’s Day. What a treat. Every course cooked with quality meats and other ingredients. Brought to the table with a smile and in good time. Can’t applaud the team enough. Our go to place now for quality food. Big thanks to James and the team.

What fantastic food this place creates fantastic service will definitely be going again.

Camped over in the large carpark, great atmosphere and service spot on. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

I cannot highly rate this place enough, Max the manager worked with me regarding an unusual allergy and the food was perfect! Drinks were great, the staff were fantastic, professional, polite, knowledgeable. It was an amazing visit and I will definitely be returning. Thank you Max and everyone for making something i dread so effortless and actually enjoyable!
