Menu is awful used to be easy to navigate showed all vegans options now it's a joke . Who changed the menu to this they need sacking wont be coming with discount code thankyou. Shame was good now rubbish. Put the menu back to how it used to be please.

I absolutely love this place! Great hot food at great prices, and often have promo codes which reduce the price even more, making eating here very affordable. Family friendly atmosphere, with the added bonus of a little outdoor play area.

Our friendly local pub who always go out of their way to accommodate us whether it's just drinks or both food and drinks. Food is always spot on, never had a bad meal.

Thursday night quiz is spot on.

We came for an unplanned visit and were pleasantly surprised to get a table with it being mother's day. We were seated immediately and ordered smoothly at the bar. It was a relatively short wait for the food. My teenage boys had ordered the americano steak, which they really enjoyed. My daughter ordered the nachos and hunters chicken off the kids menu. Again, no complaints with hers - except it was pretty pricey for a kids meal. My husband and father in law had the half roast chicken, my mother in law the beef roast and I had the vegetarian sausage roast. Unfortunately our meals were far from great. Whilst I ate all mine, the vegetables had no taste to them and the roast potatoes were anaemic looking (sausages were OK though), however none of the other three adults could eat theirs. The roast chicken looked like it had just been blasted in a microwave and was dry as a bone, veggies tasteless, mash lumpy and Yorkshire puddings under cooked (mine was okay). We sat for half an hour and eventually had to ask someone to clear the table (at which point a waitress brought the pudding out when the plates were only being cleared as we'd asked). The waiter didn't ask what was wrong with the food until my father in law prompted him. He took it all away and did bring a refund back of the three main meals. We only had one desert, the apple crumble, which was actually really good, so it was a very mixed experience.

We were served by a young and polite lad named Hamish and he was very helpful and patient. He took the time to find us the Paddington stickers and answered all my questions about the food. Food was also great and was pretty speedy. The rest of the staff seem lovely too, had a great chat with them all and we will definitely be back in the future :)

great place to meet and have a pleasant meal with the new out-laws, although the fact that we had to pay for parking detracted from this somewhat as I have never known any other pub where you have to do so, and I can imagine that this in fact would deter a lot of people from just popping in for a quick bite to eat or drink.

Staff very friendly and welcoming Service excellent My guest remarked on how quickly we had been seated and served with food. He really enjoyed his fish and chips And I thoroughly enjoyed my sirloin steak (the best I’d tasted in ages with that bbq cooked taste) I really like this place and often bring friends. The parking is an advantage. As is the inside or outside seating and the option to eat.

I was very pleased to see that this pub serves great quality food, sometimes chain pubs slide a little, but not this one. The Staff are lovely, the food is fantastic and the place is clean and cared for.

Customer service was lovely. All staff looked happy, which is nice. X we booked a table for it to be near the park and when we got there it wasn't. But they sorted it out quickly for us and give us a table near the park so the kids could play. When ordering the bar staff was very respectful of our fussy kids requirements and when the food came out exactly how we ordered it. Kids food looked absolutely stunning and the kids cleared their plates! I ordered the kabab and chips wich was looking, the naan bread that came with it was soft and fully! We had puddings and they where cheap but the puddings where a very good size considering the price. X would recommend to friends and definitely go again

Absolutely lovely, lived in Scarborough since June 2024, but this was my first time visiting, I’d recommend the gammon 8oz with eggs and chips, eggs were Devine, little pricey on the pint but still, a decent dinner and a drink coming in at around £18:50

The food wasn’t up to standards the pubs classics Hunters chicken was definitely not worth £12.99 it came on a child’s plate. The steak was really tough and couldn’t be cut let alone eaten

Fantastic pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. As a veggie I particularly liked the Thai style curry. So good to finally see someone doing something with soya beans, and a different option from boring old veggie lasagne and veggie chilli. Tristan was particularly good about my friend's inedible steak. Very helpful and kind. Thank you!

I was very impressed with this pub, the staff were really friendly and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. There's a great choice on the menu with lots of options for vegetarians. The service was very quick and you can order on your phone or up at the bar. Prices were pretty average for what is served locally. The food was well cooked, fresh and hot. Portion sizes were good and the menu had calorie inform.

Popped in for a bite to eat with a friend - tried the new katsu burger which was amazing. Ell and Liam are always super friendly and make the visit worth while! Will be back soon!

Visit spoilt on this occasion by a group laughing and talking loudly using abusive language as if nobody else was around, staff should have addressed this but nothing done, women and young children around should not be hearing this type of language. I have visited many times over the years on business and always found the staff friendly and helpful, but not all visitors seem to behave with consideration for those around them unfortunately

Staying at the Premier Inn next door we decided to try you and really enjoyed both meals so far, great place, really friendly staff and we shall be back tonight and/or tomorrow before leaving Scarborough
