Fantastic food with an even more fantastic waiter named Dane! , the lad was very polite and handsome at that! Would come again.

We visited for the first time as friends were staying at the Premier Inn we booked our table as it was a Saturday night. The pub is a great size and modern inside. I had nachos to start which was lovely and vegetarian pizza again lovely but could of been bigger. All the food was delicious and the staff are really helpful and friendly. A nice playground outside for the kids. We will definitely recommend and return.

The service is amazing, the bar staff are full of banter! Tristan was great we will be returning.

Having seen great reviews we were very much looking forward to going - and had a 30% off voucher. I’m guessing everyone else did because it was packed. And there was a 30% off the ideal temperature for the food - underdone and 3 of our party have upset tummies the next day. Horrible dangerous muddy holes at the entrance with dodgy wires sticking out. We won’t be back😥

Tristan was amazing, very friendly, the food is delicious and came out very fast to say how busy it was it only took 20minutes to come! Desserts came out very fast too! Such a brilliant team thank you tunny catch.

Large party of 12 for birthday meal it was very busy with over an hours wait on food (was Told 40 mins) however the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them , also stayed for free quiz which was fun

The staff were friendly, cleaned the table as we were going to sit down. The food was lovely! Really hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it!

This weekend we had our annual youth football trip to Filey and, for the third year running, The Tunny Catch has been our venue of choice for lunch after the football. The staff made serving 42 meals to us look an absolute doddle. They set out the side of the pub for us so we could all sit together and could not do enough for us. They are family friendly and did not mind the kids being giddy and excited. The food was superb and the service from the staff who looked after us was faultless. One of the nicest things is seeing the same staff each year which indicates that it is a great place to work. Cannot wait to come back again next year. Highly recommended, especially if you are a large party. Thanks again all

Visited the tunny catch with my family, got greeted by Tristan, very welcoming, friendly and goes the extra mile! Shez, Liam and Lisa on the bar are always smiling and ill definitely be returning.

We visited the Tunny Catch on a number of occasions whilst staying at the nearby premier inn. My son has special dietary requirements and the young man Dane behind the bar was absolutely brilliant, and on the one occasion that the order came out wrong he rectified it straight away. He is an asset to the team!

We had a great family get together at the Tunny catch this afternoon , Liam sorted out a perfect table for us , he also served us our drinks in a cheerful and pleasant manner. We had a large order of food and again Liam helped out with our order making sure we all had exactly what we wanted, nothing was a problem, he made our visit a very pleasurable afternoon.

Came in on Saturday afternoon for a drink. Pub was packed but managed to get a seat. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with staff working hard and very efficient, special mention to Tristan Liam Dane and Lisa. Have heard the Thursday night quiz is brilliant so will be coming back for that. We visited the Tunny Catch whilst on holiday in Scarborough as we’d heard great things about their quiz (which didn’t disappoint- Paul is FAB, if only we lived closer and could come more often!). Liam was very friendly and made us all laugh - from looking through the other reviews it looks as if other people agree with how great he is, he’s a real asset to your team!! The food was lovely and we were absolutely delighted to actually WIN the quiz - on the last night of our holiday this is exactly what we needed! Thanks Paul and Liam!

Went a couple of times on our last visit to Scarborough as we were staying close by and discovered it on our last visit. Decently priced food and drink, usually with a little entertainment on the evening such as Bingo or Quiz. The service was a little slow and the first night I was told that they don't set up tabs and they couldn't do cocktails as the new menu was'nt available yet. Strange how they set up a tab for another diner the same night when I was being served at the bar, and also I saw yet another diner with a cocktail. very bad custoemr service. I let it slide as the steaks we had were superb, one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, which is a lot. Many compliments to the chef. We bought speciality salad bowls after out visit last year as they worked so well at the Tunny Catch, that's how good their food is, just need to work on the staff.

Not that dog friendly, put in the back pool table area. Wouldn't have wanted to take kids in that area, bad language etc. Table sticky. The hunters chicken was OK but the pizza over cooked, paper thin, extremely mean topping. Not worth the price. Won't be returning.

Staff are excellent, pleasant, efficient, and happy. I am local and have recently gone for a meal at the tunny catch. I have been impressed with burgers, cooked on charcoal and other dishes. Ordered two Sunday lunch yesterday early evening. Plates were cold vegetables were not fresh, meat acceptable .yorksure pudding no colour and no taste and roast potatoes had garlic salt on them. Did not enjoy at all and will not go for sunday lunch again

We came upon this place by chance, but very pleased we did. Visiting from Kent, we were impressed by the lovely spacious area, absolutely spotless and especially the toilets. The meals were hot, tasty and very reasonable, with polite service and we felt really at home. Thankyou for making our lunch there a pleasure, definately would recommend

We were a large group of 12 & they fitted us in on a busy Saturday evening. Friendly staff and decent food. Reasonably priced. Good service.

Wr had discount vouchers so we called twice. The staff were very polite and efficient and the food was piping hot and delicious.

Service is very good. Had Sunday lunch today and it was a bit so, so. Roasties tasted as if they were pre frozen, Yorkshire pud was underdone, not fluffy and crispy. Its OK, but meh.

Tristan is always welcoming when we come to the Tunny Catch. The food is always good. Service is great. Look forward to our Friday nights.

We went for the quiz night as our previous visit went had won the voucher. Manager extended for us too. Although we didn't win it was great night. staff were all cheerful and happy to help. Food was well cooked and tasty as it was on our previous visit. We use it as an excuse to meet up with friends and have a great night out. Hopefully we'll do better the next time
