Lovely place , food great , just think drinks are expensive, compared to other bar/restaurants close by .

Nice place for a meal and good prices. We come regularly. Only problem is one of the staff begs for feed back every time we come in. Bit boarding now

Such a clean and well maintained pub, family atmosphere and nice food. I would have liked any kind of offer, like a two course menu but still, not expensive overall. Staff is lovely.

I came Sunday 13th April 2025 1.30pm with my family everything was okay at first we sat down at the table it was in disgusting condition certainly needs replacing and other tables aswell but the icing on the cake was when I was playing on the slot machine a member of staff wasn't feeling well so she was telling her colleague whilst he was on his dinner break eating a Carvery at approximately 2pm, the young lady must of used every swear word going and she wasn't quite about it either, we all swear at times but there is a time and place, FIRST TIME AT FLY LINE. Cheers. I contacted the manager on Tuesday 15th April 2025 because I received just like everyone else a automated reply to see if they read your comments and yes they do the manager was aware of all the above mentioned and spoke with the person twice inrelation with swearing to the degree she did, I was sadly disappointed that no gesture of good will was offerd simply because of been a new customer and I shouldn't of had to witness what I did and I paid for 4 people.

Wow, just wow. These guys go above and beyond. I’d heard really good things so we thought we would go and try it. Not disappointed, great atmosphere, great food and everyone who brought us drinks or food, or just came to check on us were so lovely. Highly recommend

We meet regularly here for a catch up staff always polite and areas kept clean and tidy food is fine. My granddaughter likes to go for a meal on her birthday we got her a cake this time and staff brought it out and sang happy birthday she was thrilled to bits thank you a lovely gesture

We celebrated our granddaughter's 7th birthday and there were 8 of us. Nice welcome. Great food especially the carvery. Julie was so pleasant and helpful, a really lovely person, she made our visit special.

How this place is receiving 5 stars is beyond me. I'll admit the carvery looked ok, but there's something about carveries, with queues of people coughing and spluttering over the veggies that puts me off. My family ordered from the main menu, 2 burgers which were ok, bit dry. Mac and cheese with chicken top. Fresh from the freezer and obviously forgotten about once placed under the grill given the black burnt bits on the fresh from the freezer chicken pieces. I had steak (medium) which looked like it had been cooked in the centre of the sun, the middle of the steak had a new shade of leather I have never seen before. I didn't know whether to try and eat it or take it to the cobblers and resole my shoe. No cutlery was brought to our table, nor any salt and pepper(which you'll need to make your food taste of anything) the area we sat in needed a good industrial clean. The whole place is going down the pan, and only trades ok given it's location. There is much better food available in the area, but if that's too far to travel, then home bargains across the carpark sells sausage rolls, which you'll find more enjoyable than the food in the flyline.

Came for a 3rd birthday afternoon meal. Always so lovely here, the staff have known our little one since she was a month old. Super friendly, good value and good food. A firm favourite.

Enjoyable visit with my granddaughters she loved the pasta and Partner enjoyed the Madras. The carvery was nice too.

We arrived and were able to find a great table for our family and our dog. We have people with allergies and the website has a great menu function to get rid of items with allergies which made ordering even easier. The food was delicious and even though one item took a little longer to come from the kitchen they compensated with some fries. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely visit again and the staff are hardworking, polite and so helpful.

Warm friendly greeting upon entry, carvery was very nice the veg was HOT. A nice change from our experiences elsewhere.

Visited here for lunch with my 2 daughters. Manager was welcoming and friendly. Staff also polite and friendly. Food was delicious and was a fab sized portion. They went above and beyond for my 9yr old daughter’s order as she has coeliac disease, diary and egg allergies. She is also autistic. A booklet was brought to the table showing what foods contained what. There is surprisingly quite a lot she could eat! Her plate was brought out separately to ours and I was told her order was made first and separate to ours to avoid cross contamination. I can’t recommend this pub enough, we will be back again soon. Thank you for making it an easier experience with the allergies!

This place appears to be a pub but you have to book a table even if just for drinks? It's unwelcoming and could do with a deep clean. Tables grubby and had to hunt for condiments which were sticky. Floors and chairs need deep clean. An awful lot of waiting..at the bar and for service at the carvery. We had the carvery. Good choice of veg and spuds. Weirdly it all tastes the same no matter what you have? Service dire..we felt like we were a hassle simply by being there? If you want a nice lunch don't go here we won't be returning.

Was impressed with the carvery the meat was cooked perfect and was plenty of it. However the staff looked over worked and didn't look happy at all.

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We ordered online, we thought we had ordered the hunters chicken baguette. We hadn't, we had ordered hunters chicken, 2 people made the mistake separately so that's possibly something to look at on the online menu. The staff member who brought the food out was excellent, realising the error he rectified straight away without any issues. Mistakes happen, but how they are rectified makes the difference, 10/10 for how this was dealt with.

Always a lovely vibe here, the staff are always super friendly and happy to help. I just wish there were more gluten free options on the menu! Would be nice for a change …

When we entered we were greeted by Reece who showed us to our table, which we had reserved for 1pm Saturday for a large group and even though it was busy there was still room for walk ins. The food was piping hot and our orders were served quickly by very efficient staff. There is a very warm welcome for all ages and the Fly Line is also dog friendly.

Oh my Gosh!! It was our first time having a carvery meal at the Flyline and it was AMAZiNG!! Food was delicious and yummy! Fantastic selection 👍🏼 Best Carvery Meal around!! Definately be back!

We arrived during a busy lunch rush but we're still seated almost immediately. We had booked a table that morning and the member of staff when greeted us was immediately able to find our booking and show us to our table. The area we sat in was a touch crowded but that's to be expected at the time we visited. I ordered a vegetarian carvery option and the staff member behind the carvery was extremely helpful in letting me know what items on the carvery were vegetarian by explaining what had been cooked in animal products and what hadn't etc. she also made sure to make me aware that the gravy was also vegetarian. The quality of food was brilliant, as it has been every time we've visited.

It's always quite busy on a Sunday. Very nice staff. The carvery was nice just don't have the pork always serves very fatty pieces of meat. There was more fat that the actual meat itself. I regretted choosing it. The atmosphere was a little loud and a bit crowded at times. We got seated straight away which we appreciated as a walk in. The staff are all really lovely. I know the spicy burger is really good. Highly recommend it.

Very underwhelming. Carvery was bland. Gravy lacked any flavour. Family area feels like a cafe. Toy machine next to carvery stand. Wasn't too keen on the children. Being by there. Flat atmosphere. Staff were very polite and welcoming.

Went here for my daughter’s birthday meal. Was served by the loveliest young lady. All the staff were super accommodating and made my daughter feel very special - we booked on the day because I was unorganised. Food was fab, will definitely be visiting again. I came in last Thursday to a warm welcome from Anthony and Alex who gave great service with witty banter will definitely be coming back.

We was seated straight away, we both went with the carvery, no cue at hot plate, we also had a baby with us and a lovely lady greeted us with a plate and spoon so we could share are carvery with are baby, she also got us some children books. Was a lovely meal, everything was fresh, the beef was spot on, it melted in your mouth, will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious as always. I ordered the Beef Lasagna and Sweet Potato fries and I really enjoyed it. My two eldest order the Ultimate Souther Fried Chicken burger and they loved it.

We usually eat at The Flyline for family Birthdays. We ate there today as a party of 8 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 5. For my youngest Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by your Server Julie. She offered to put my Granddaughter's home made Birthday cake in the fridge while we ate. And after we'd finished our meal brought it out to us and sang Happy Birthday to my Granddaughter! Julie has served us several times over the years and is always very kind and helpful and always asks if we are enjoying our food and is there anything she can help us with? Nothing is too much trouble for her and it's always a pleasure to see her there.

I absolutely love this place!! Not only is it incredibly good value, but the food is lovely and the staff are amazing! Every single time we go they are friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. The fact that I can take my very well behaved dog with me also makes a big difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had been advised by family to come and we visited for the first time and we both had carvery. To be honest it was the best external carvery we had had - the vegetables were lovely and the meat was tender and appeared good quality. The service and communication was fabulous - very good experience and will definitely come back 🤩

As someone who works near by and lives no where near, this spot has become my favourite spot to come and have a bite to eat and a drink innetween work. We turned up without booking on this date as we had taken our 5 year old daughter and a few friends out for her birthday. The welcoming front of house managed to squeeze us in which we were very grateful for. Shortly after, while I was placing the food/drinks order, the attentive staff brought crayons and colouring paper for the girls, and stated that they would pop a candle in the dessert of the birthday girl, which we weren’t expecting at all, especially after turning up unannounced. The food was excellent, and the beer was spot on. At dessert time, the staff came over and sang happy birthday with us and true to their word brought candles for my daughter. All in all a very pleasant experience. In fact, I’ve never had a bad one at this establishment. Would recommend to friends and family and won’t hesitate to come back. First time hear we had a carvery witch was excellent Finnish of with a desert and a few drinks the staff was very helpful looked to be a bit short staffed would come here again

We were looking at other venues to have a family meal after having an exceptionally poor experience at our more local venue - I won't name it but it's not part of your company. We were very happy with the food and service we received. It was a relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming.

I called after the snow fall to see if still open. Though they didn't answer they did call me back within 5 mins. Though short staffed they managed their usual Sunday Carvery which we throughly enjoyed.

Great Breakfast with Santa experience. We had two 9 year old boys who had an amazing time, the crafts with Julie were great, stuff suitable for older children which is unusual. They made some lovely keepsake crafts and loved the morning.

Great service, friendly attentive staff. Everyone enjoyed their food ranging from vegan carvery to plain beef burger and a vegetarian chilli. This only being my second visit, I would be happy to return for a family get together.

Popped in for lunch Saturday and very impressed. Quickly seated and the atmosphere and service second to none. Decided to try the small plate carvery and was not disappointed. Plenty of choice and was all well cooked and hot. Will definitely return.

Food was hot, vegetables had lots of choice some a little overcooked but that is individual taste. Very friendly staff. We had the small plate carvery which was enough for us both.

The worst roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings we've ever had. Slow service. Sat in what resembles a kiddies area. Awful food won't be returning ever.

My friend took my there for a meal for my birthday, both enjoyed the food, friendly helpful staff.

I have visited a few times over the past couple of months and each time I have not been disappointed. We have dietary requirements which have been catered for each time with care and consideration. Big shout out again to Reece who always has a smile on his face and nothing is ever too much trouble and I think that he's the best. I have recommended visiting to many friends and family. We visited this morning for breakfast with Santa. It was a fabulous experience, the selection of crafts and activities were brilliant for the staff and adults! Breakfast was lovely, a family friendly pub with kind and caring staff who always put customers first! We always appreciate the helpfulness of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere! The bar service was very slow, as there weren't enough staff on, and the staff that were on duty were not supported by their manager. One of our drinks was forgotten & we had to queue up again to get it! Our table was very worn looking and definitely in need of some varnish. Considering the high prices nowadays, some money should really be spent on the maintenance of the furniture! We were really hoping that everything would be ok with our meals BUT they were missing some of the items that were listed on the menu, which was disappointing and the waitress was rather unapologetic initially. Also the meat portions were quite small. Later the manager admitted there was a disconnect between the menu in the kitchen and the menu in the restaurant, so that was the reason we had not exactly got what we had ordered. He brought us a salad to appease us and asked if we would like anything else to which we replied, yes some complimentary drinks please. He obliged but then later added these drinks to our bill!!! What a terrible experience! We shall not be returning to the Flyline! It's a shame because there are some nice staff that work there and we have had much better experiences in the past, but tonight the green bearded manager failed his staff & customers.

Very tired. Terrible service, mis sold food. Blue bearded manager offered complimentary drinks then tried to charge us for them. Overall shocking value for money. Don't waste your money or time.

Breakfast with Santa Dec 2024 Family booking with children. Easy to book and pre pay. Meal activities and a visit from The big man himself- Santa. Greeted quickly, lovely festive decorations. Activity table available for crafting. Breakfast buffet, good selection of cooked items and NOT stingy with portions. Overall a great family experience, not over priced and lovely family atmosphere. We were a group of 30 family members enjoying the festive menu, I would like to say a big THANKYOU to Jason. He was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely evening and the environment and atmosphere were perfect for us We felt like we were enjoying private dining. Thank you to the kitchen team who prepared good food very efficiently. Nice place for food, but let down by poor service from front of house, except for one young woman who was running round, serving tables with an amazing big smile. Prices are way over the top for the food and portions served. Won’t be back I’m afraid

We were here for a family Christmas meal. The atmosphere was great, the service was faultless- very attentive. Food on the whole was very good…but there was disappointment over the banoffee pie… which was definitely NOT banoffee pie, more a chocolate torte. See photo.
