One of the best Bottomless brunch’s I’ve had in a while came on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised with the high level of service from liv drinks came fast and it felt that there was never an empty glass on the table. I would recommend a botty b at slug and lettuce courtyard any day the week of you want a great night out.

We went for bottomless brunch and our servers Fin and Caitlin were really helpful and lovely! Despite a fire alarm that left us standing outside for about 30 minutes, they extended our time at bottomless brunch and got us extra drinks when we got back into the building. Would come back!

Had an amazing meal here. Great prompt service and the food was gorgeous. We ordered from the brunch menu- £8 a meal. Lovely and full when we left. Will call again.

Fab experience at S&L swinegate York yesterday for my Hen do. 21 of us, on a race day Saturday and the service was impeccable. The drinks kept flowing. The lady who was out host was absolutely lovely, she was rushed off her feet but remained calm, polite and attentive throughout our whole time. So thank you KIRSTY. You were a star ⭐

KIRSTEN WAS AMAZING! We went for a brunch for our friend’s 20th Birthday. The whole experience was very satisfactory. There was a great variety of drinks and food. However Kirsten really made up the experience, she was very friendly and attentive. Constantly checking everything was okay, if we needed anything else. Good food and drinks make a food experience however in my personal opinion service is the most important part of an experience.

Came for a few drinks on Friday afternoon, staff were really friendly! We opted for a few small plates which were perfect as we weren't too hungry but the food was lovely! 2 for 1 on cocktails was great, lovely chilled afternoon. We'll definitely be back next time we're in York!

First off the barmaid couldn't of been more miserable if she had made an effort!! Secondly just be aware cocktails seem to be made these days depending on your cocktail of choice obviously minus the vodka.....shocking service

Visited on 4 June (Tues) to have a "birthday drink". My birthday "bubbles" were served efficiently/professionally by lovely young man on "bar duties". Booked bottomless brunch for 2 on Wednesday evening. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Drinks were topped up regularly without any waiting time. Wide range of food choices and the food we ordered was good and arrived promptly. Excellent value for money for a bottomless brunch!

We visited today We were goin to eat but one meal wasn’t available (steak) so we just decided to have a drink We ordered our usual round Mine rose and soda We had been given rose and lemonade ( iv NEVER had my wine with lemonade) Been with my husband over 40 years and hes been buying this for me all this time! We took it back to the bar and the barman said u asked for lemonade No we didnt weve nvr ordered with lemonade He stood and argued with us virtually calling us liars I was so angry I took my glass to the bar and said i cant drink this and i think u are very rude! He just glared at me We have nvr had anyone talk ro us like this before And we are very disappointed We never like to make a scene but this is disgraceful customer service They were all chatting and no-one came to apologise We asked his name and he grudgingly told us Ashley Wont visit again

Huge thank you to Rachel who went above and beyond to solve a problem with a food order through Just Eat. The problem was entirely a Just Eat issue and in no way caused by Slug & Lettuce, but the care and consideration in resolving the problem and helping us out was hugely appreciated. And the food once we got it was lovely and just what we needed!

Finn is amazing, good vibes and kept the drinks flowing. Honestly the best server couldn't ask for anyone better
