Solid hotel between the train station and city center in Sheffield. The location is good and the stay here was pretty decent for most part. I liked the quiet room and the friendly reception staff. The breakfast is decent and offers both warm (full English style) and cold (continental) options but after a few days it gets samey. Some more hot options such as pancakes, waffles or omelettes would enhance the experience. The room key was sometimes a bit funny and the lights in the corridor and from the AC control mean that it’s rather light during the night. In my room, there was also a noisy toilet sound after each flush, which was annoying. Finally, while the rooms are quiet to the outside, you can hear what’s going on in the corridor, so the rooms could be sound-proofed better.

Friendly and helpful staff, decent rooms and a good price.

The experience was exceptional. A manager personally escorted me to my room, which was spacious enough to accommodate my mobility scooter. The room also featured a convenient button for opening the door when exiting, although an additional button for entry would be beneficial. The wet room was well-equipped with a folding seat, ensuring accessibility. All staff members I encountered were courteous, professional, and demonstrated a friendly demeanor.

All Leonardo hotels have this one particular wonderful fragrance that welcomes you at the entrance .very lovely

Rooms a little tired, seem to have invested more in the bar area but could do with a little modernisation.

CANNOT OPEN STEAM. You can’t open any steam websites if connected to the hotel wifi. This is very annoying. Won’t really consider this hotel again.

A previously high end chain hotel in need of some TLC. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sadly, the tuna sandwich was not worth £9.

Frankly I was expecting a bit better from this hotel. The best thing about the room was the view. On this side of the window however, the heating was not working. In March! In Sheffield! The grillage would only blow out cold air, so I had to use a portable heater missing a leg, and later I was given a second heater to use for the other side of the room. I was also given some guff about the heating being dependent on what people do in the other rooms, ie if they have the heating on or off! As if anyone would believe that. Just admit it’s broken. One member of staff asked me if I wanted another room, but then another said there would be no point as all the rooms have this system by which it depends on the neighbours settings. Redonkulous. Besides my friends had plenty of heating in their room, maybe they were lucky with their neighbours, huh? The front of house staff was fairly accommodating and always turned up quickly to be fair, but this nonsense about the heating is really below par. I found the room dusty in some corners, some hair in the bathtub, carpet quite stained, the iron left with water inside by previous guest, and the cleaners a bit stingy with the toilet paper and facial tissues. I didn’t use the coffee facilities. Obviously good location, the hotel was quiet in general, there’s a handy snack ‘stand’ in reception for late night snacks.

It was a great experience I advise others to visit it

- 1 double bed, and 1 single bed make the room full for one guest. No bath. shower only. shower is fixed shower with no control. room temperature setting is also fixed. wash basin is too high and very uncomfortable.

Light. Comfortable rooms. Breakfasts are very good ( nice to see food that isn't dry). There is a £9 evening / overnight deal with the local apcoa car park at The Moor. To be fair i would give it 5 stars if the room was a little larger and had a safe in it. Sounds petty but if you are working away having to trapse your valuables back to the car or the hotel lobby safe room is painful. Also doesn't have a gym. The rest is great though.

Had nothing short of an excellent experience here. The room was wonderful - with a hair dryer, an abundance of towels, and an extremely nice bed. The staff were very friendly. I was lucky enough to be on the 9th floor, at the very top - meaning I had an excellent view out of the window (although on lower levels this isn't the case) It's extremely central, for a reasonably fast walker it's under 10 minutes walk from the railway station, and the main shopping area is a stone's throw away. Big Bite, just opposite the hotel, seemed to be perpetually open over the weekend - making a late-night greasy takeaway easy to come by. There's no refrigerator in the rooms, but that's an extremely minor detail.

Decent hotel, clean rooms, alright size rooms with a good amount of desk space. Staff were friendly, and I got seen to be fairly quickly on arrival. Breakfast has a lot to be desired. No black pudding or hash browns and the fried eggs were just cooked, still had the clear white on it. Parking is also a bit of a pain , this is public APCOA car park, which is £9 for 24 hours when the blue coin is scanned by the hotel. This is possibly 100m from the hotel entrance.

Pleasant check in, good size, quiet room . Approx 10 mins walk from train station. Car parking near by. Breakfast was a bit of a bland buffet, I'd probably eat elsewhere next time. But overall a pleasant stay.

Located 4 min. from the train station in city centre. 15 min walk to Bramall Lane stadium

Room is decent and bedding is fairly comfortable. Unfortunately the tiny dated bathroom let it down badly... Clearly shows its age with the folding doors full of scale, dirt and worn seals. I struggled to move around and even worried to catch my toes in the door... Way too small to move around. Oh and the soap had an horrible smell.... And both shampoo and shower felt and smelt identical. I guess I'll have to try the other hotels around Sheffield before I come back here.... Only plus side for me is the location.

Date of Stay: February 10, 2024 - Severe Privacy Breach and Ignored by Management at Leonardo Hotel Sheffield Our evening at the Leonardo Hotel Sheffield was shockingly disrupted, transforming what should have been a restful stay into a distressing ordeal. My girlfriend, exhausted from preparing for an early shift, was sleeping when the unimaginable happened—a male guest, mistakenly assigned to our room by the hotel's reception staff, barged in. This alarming intrusion was not just a minor error but a grave lapse in the hotel’s security protocols, endangering our privacy and safety. Following this harrowing experience, the hotel staff offered only a nominal response and provided us with the manager’s email for further communication and promised compensation. However, our attempts to reach out and seek redress have been met with a disheartening silence. Despite several emails detailing our ordeal and seeking a rightful acknowledgment and solution, we have received no reply, no apology, nothing. This lack of response is a clear indication of the management's disregard for guest security and their well-being. This incident raises serious concerns about the operational integrity and customer service ethos of Leonardo Hotel Sheffield. The initial breach of privacy was bad enough; the subsequent failure of the hotel management to communicate or offer any form of apology or compensation only exacerbates the situation, showing a dismaying indifference to the serious distress caused to us as guests. I urge potential guests to think twice before booking a stay at this hotel. The severe lack of security and the management's apparent indifference to our situation have been both unsettling and unacceptable. In a hospitality industry built on trust and respect, Leonardo Hotel Sheffield has failed spectacularly on both counts.

Rooms are clean, beds comfy, water pressure is good. Great value and a good location.

Great hotel Great staff perfect location

Me and my friend arrived at the hotel for a 2 night stay and were given room 307, when we arrived at the room the reception was calling to say the air-conditioning was on the Fritz and asked us to return to reception for another room. We were then given 503, a much nicer room with better view and complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. The manager at reception was extremely friendly and funny and very apologetic for the mix up. Our stay however brief was pleasant, The room and hotel was spotless. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and I will be staying here again on my return to Sheffield. All in 5 ⭐ this time around, extremely satisfied.

Great hotel, comfy beds, nice bar, lovely staff, great location

The hotel looks beautiful when you just look at it, but when we looked closer in our rooms, the walls were so dirty. There was also no places to park on the street. There was an underground parking. The lift from there up was very dirty, smelled disgusting and had broken glass and dishes in it.

The rooms here are clean and relatively spacious - offering a good view (depending on which side and where in the building you are). Beds are quite comfortable. One bit of criticism is the toilet wasn't really cleaned that well when we moved in, but it wasn't the worst. The service at reception was very good, checkin was efficient and staff were very attentive when I called down to the reception. The only thing I'd say is book earlier for cheaper prices and if you're wanting to drive there - book a car park space directly with the hotel. But otherwise there isn't parking available at the hotel and I believe this is a huge drawback.

Decent 4-star hotel, very economic pricing in Sheffield. Free hot chocolate. Continental breakfast was good, but the receptionist lady made a mistake when recording my room number the night before, making the breakfast checkin process bothersome.

This hotel is a scam. Do NOT STAY HERE. Do you love showers? Oh they don't have working showers. Do you love heating? Oh they don't have heating. Do you love insulation? Oh they don't have insulation, I could feel the wind coming through the window. From the moment I stepped into my room to the moment I checked out the next day, I was shivering. I booked for 11 DAYS and I couldn't stay 1 day. This hotel is torture, It is not 4 star luxury hotel or ANYTHING like ANY of the reviews tell you. The reviews are FAKE. It's a 1 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. I had spoken to them about the heating and they ignored me, And then when I went to checkout early, They said I should have TOLD THEM TO LEAVE THE HEATING ON DURING THE NIGHT??? Do you know how old I am?? Do you know how much I paid?? £70 a night!! Why do I need to ASK YOU to leave the heating on during the night when I am paying £70 a night? Over £700 in total for my 11 nights stay?? £70 a night should be luxury. 4 star hotel should be luxury. I should have all the heating and all the water and high pressure showers and insulation and lighting. Everything I could want I should have. I just mentioned the lighting because the ROOMS ARE VERY DARK, THEY ONLY HAVE LAMPS, NO CEILING LIGHTS. And guess what? NO REFUNDS. NONE AT ALL. So I just burned three months of savings on some stupid sorry excuse for a "hotel" that is only out to scam people. For the love of god, Do not stay here. And I swear to Christ and I swear to god what I say is true. I suffered all night and day there, my nose was leaking the entire time because it was so cold, And I had to wear my outdoor coat buttoned up and gloves in my room because I was so cold! So the shower doesn't work at all, Either you got scolding hot water with the lowest pressure imaginable or ice cold water, Any less pressure it'd be impossible to wash yourself at all. A 20 minute shower takes way longer than an hour. Oh and the rooms aren't clean, The chair wasn't clean, Desk, Nor beds, Hairs and dirt everywhere, Including the bath (which I don't even know why they have since they have no water) and the toilet. The sink is also blocked and the water pressure of the tap is very low. Do you like money? All they want is to take it from you for no reason at all. They spend all that money buying fake reviews, Instead of fixing the place. Don't stay here. You'd be better off in a homeless shelter than here.

we stayed here on a coach trip with Alpha room ok breakfast ok but evening meal needs help we stayed Mon to Fri when booking in I was just given the room key so off we went to the room next day we went out around sheffield noticed noone had been in the room thought nothing of it as some hotels clean every other day we out the next day came back to find the same results I went down to reception and was told I should have been told we must notify reception before 12 that day if e want housekeeping to come in so we had nt had our bin etc emptied for 3 days or anything else done I asked for clean tgowels waited 2hrs no sign went down and was told would bring some up in the next few minutes a whie later got some clean towels booked in for housekeeping next day she arrived at 9.20am we went out came back to find bed changed and towels put away but she did not empty the bin as we where going home next day the breakfast was very good but the evening meal was not we eat out alot on our stay

Good food, a decent amount of choice, food was prompt, tasty and warm. Drinks were great too, worth trying if staying

Lovely hotel but a good 15 minute walk from the town centre, an ok selection of draught and bottled beer and considering this is a good hotel the only food they served was " pub style " food.

A varied choice, of nibbles, starters, mains and sweets with lots of healthy options to choose from. A nice ambience with great service from all the team at Sheffield.

Breakfast: what on earth did they do to the mushrooms? why do the tomoatoes taste of fish?... on the whole unappetising and poorly presented, no descriptions of the food or allergy information. Lunch (conference delegate package): again with the undercooked and underseasoned veg, again no indication as to what was being presented, no allergy info, not even obvious as to what (if anything) would be suitable for vegetarian/vegan diets, ugly and unpalletable. Dinner: based on experience at breakfast & lunch, didn't bother - ate elsewhere.

Tasty, get your moneys worth, great service. Buffet breakfast is great! Would recommend getting downstairs earlier rather than later. Large selection to choose from. P.S: The nachos are great!

Food was fantastic for a hotel chain, the staff were very very friendly, nothing was too much bother. Good selection of food, more expensive than if we had gone outside the hotel but by no means a rip off as the quality was exceptional

If you're staying here, by all means get the breakfast. Proper English breakfast buffet with all the trimmings, very nicely done.

Stayed here on a residential course and they ran out of certain food two nights of the five I stayed. Not sure why they have a phone on reception as they never seem to answer it and when you go down it’s generally 3 or 4 deep. Beds very comfortable and facilities good, just lacking that little bit extra and a bit of customer service.

Ich hatte zweimal die Gelegenheit, das Mittagessen im Rahmen eines Seminars auszuprobieren. Das erste Mal war das Fleisch zu trocken gebraten und es gab keine Soße dazu, beim zweiten Mal war es kaum gewürzt, langweilig und wässrig. Der Salat dazu war aber jedes Mal gut, vielleicht sollte man sich darauf konzentrieren!

Excellent customer service from Barakat and good quality food with good portion sizes. I would definitely eat here again. Also, not many other places open at 9pm on a Sunday serving food.

Another lovely stay, cannot fault. The location is fantastic, literally five minutes walking from the train station.

We arrived ridiculously early after a long journey and the guy on reception could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. He arranged for us to be checked in early with no problem even though the hotel seemed busy. The hotel itself is a standard chain hotel but excellent value for money and in a great location with easy access to the train station, parking and the city centre. The thing that raised it above the norm though was the staff- every one friendly and helpful. Like I said, great service.

After spending the day in the Jury's conference suites training a course to a group of hospitality general managers we were super pleased to nip into the bar upstairs for an after work drinks and be served by the amazing Lee!!

Stay there last weekend it's a nice clean hotel and a bit closer to the town centre then the premier inn but there's not any difference between so if you can get the premier inn cheaper I would stay there

As regular customers of the Jury's Inn myself and my husband booked to stay overnight for a birthday night out in Sheffield. Once again we were very pleased with our stay, the rooms are clean, comfortable and with everything you could need (hairdryer, iron and board, shampoo, shower gel etc). With this being a birthday occasion I called and spoke with Sophie who was absolutely excellent in her customer service with us. She upgraded us to a superior room with a fabulous view and gave us a complimentary drink each in the bar. The bar staff were very friendly and extremely pleasant, making us feel welcomed and our custom appreciated. Thank you so much to Sophie and the team for the extra special touch on our visit this time, Sophie's professionalism in particular is commendable and a credit to Jury's Inn.

Jurys Inn son un buen hotel, sencillo pero tienen obviamente decidió no poner mucho esfuerzo detrás del restaurante. La comida no es barato pero parece y sabe como fue reunido por una cocina más que preparada por un chef. Hacer el esfuerzo de comer en otro lugar.

En general, este es un buen lugar, excelente ubicación y el tamaño de la habitación es por encima de la media en esta categoría. No obstante me encuentro con algunos problemas que no me decepcionó un poco, no te fijas como lo habían prometido. 1)...

同ホテルに宿泊した際に夕食と朝食で利用しました。夕食はサラダとステーキを選びましたが、サラダのドレッシングは正直、自分の口には合わずＮＧでした。ステーキは焼き加減を聞いてくれるのはいいのですが、ミディアムをたのんだにもかかわらず、中身まで完全に焼けた状態で出てきました。イギリス基準ではこれが妥当らしいので、思い切ってレアでお願いすべきと思いました。朝食はヨーロッパ基準でも十分妥当なレベルと思います。

Este hotel tenía unas camas cómodas y las almohadas blandas, estaba a sólo una corta distancia a pie o a 5 libras. 00 viaje en taxi a Leopold Square, nuestra habitación estaba en la planta 7ª y muy escaso ruido de tráfico. Nuestra habitación estaba justo al lado de la sala de caldera creo que mantienen en oír ruidos de la noche. Las toallas eran preciosas y suaves. Habitación doble tiene una cama doble y una individual. Hay una secadora y tabla de planchar en la habitación. Menaje para preparar té y café. El desayuno es fantástico, tienes el desayuno preparado con champiñones y tomates frescos, y un hash browns variedad riquísima de pan, granero/tomate, etc. así como tostado blanco y marrón. Buffet frío también con piña, pasteles y fruta. pomelo mini Incluso tenían de levadura que es genial y de avena. A 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. Un fantástico lugar para alojarse e incluso a mejor precio que en otros hoteles.

I stayed at the Jury's Inn for a week and a half and I can't put into words how warm and welcoming Lee was that worked on the bar. I only saw him a total of three times, however he was so genuinely lovely and interested in what I was up to. I had a late night pizza, that I believe Kristoff made, that was very tasty. Joel from reception was also very friendly. I was working late nights so made it to breakfast a couple of minutes before it finished most days. The waitresses were quite cold and rude asking me to hurry up. I totally understand that they have to turnover for lunch. But majority tables would still have lots of uncleared plates and it was a buffet so it's not as if I had food specially ordered at a late time.

The hotel is ideally placed in the city centre and the parking was not expensive if you go to the right 24hr car park with preferred hotel rates (my fault, parked before checking in).The room was clean and tidy however the rooms at the front of the hotel face on to a night club that will rattle your windows until 3am.The bar and food in the hotel was ok, although it seems I was forever queuing, either to check in or to get a drink from the bar.The fitness suite in the basement is ok as long as it's not busy as there is only one of everything, although there was 2 running machines.Overall, 3 stars is due to the 3hrs sleep I had but I would go back and request a room not facing the nightclub.

Currently staying at Jury's on business and as always, it's clean, comfortable, great location, and excellent staff.I've written a review about this hotel before but felt compelled to write another thanks to excellent service from the duty manager, Simon. He gave me a warm welcome into reception, checked me in promptly and made sure that I received the correct room type and vouchers (I'm a top tier rewards member). The staff are all lovely, warm and friendly, and there's a great atmosphere in the hotel. This hotel really is my home from home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Sheffield now.Thank you Simon, and Jury's

The hotel had everything you could wish for. Breakfast was divine, and the room was excellent! We would book again every time we come to Sheffield. The bed was extremely comfy, and the air con in the room was perfect. Bathroom facilities wonderful. Located really close to Sheffield city centre.

Everyone at the Jury's Inn have made my extended stay a very happy & comfortable one. Everyone has been so friendly, helpful & kind. Nothing has been too much trouble & Rosie & Laura who the manage the team are always on hand, so professional & would do anything they could to help you & make your stay as pleasant as they can. Lee in the bar always has a welcoming smile & friendly chat; Sylwia, Joel and all the reception staff meet you with a friendly smile every time & are so helpful; restaurant staff Harriet, Aden, Ollie, Jane, Anastasia and all the staff are lovely. After staying in a lot of hotels both in the UK & abroad, I couldn't recommend this hotel high enough to anyone & the staff are the best I've ever encountered. Thank you for a lovely time, especially to Rosie, you are such a star! I will be recommending your hotel to all my friends, family & colleagues :-) xx

We stayed here for 1 night. Wish we had stayed longer. It was the best nights sleep we've had in a long time. The bed was very comfortable. A lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

I have been on tour for the past 2 years of my life, living out of a different hotel every week in a new city. I have dealt with a countless hotel staff members (both good and bad), so I know good service when I experience it. Ben and Liam have gone above the call of duty to ensure my comfort for the duration of my stay here. They are easy to talk to and have such wonderfully cheerful dispositions. They exhibit tremendous teamwork, and are prompt and efficient problem solvers. I would be happy to have them on my team everywhere I go.They truly make me feel like I have a home away from home.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and found it to be a great location. The staff are really helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Liam and Ben on reception were outstanding, great professionalism and customer service. Laura is always ready to help and tentative, whilst Lee in the bar its really friendly and welcoming. i would recommend this hotel and to anyone and am looking forward to my return in the near future.

Came here for a Christmas Party night. It was a mixed evening. Great bar atmosphere on arrival, waiting and bar staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. Disco after the meal was excellent and there was a great party atmosphere. Then there's the not so good - firstly, being seated in a small downstairs conference room, with no Xmas atmosphere, for our food. It must have been miles away from the kitchen because the hot food was either tepid or cold. The goats cheese tart starter had never seen a goat and the pastry was still raw. The roast beef was cold with congealed fat with hard potatoes and mushy veg. The lemon posset was pourable and served on top of tinned fruit, with a rubbery shortbread biscuit on the side. The highlight of the whole meal was the horseradish sauce!! The quality of the whole event was badly let down by the food. Jurys Inn you're a great venue with excellent staff but terrible food. Such a shame.

The design of this hotel has average written all over it. The rooms are adequate but a bit cramped, bathroom tiny. The dining room pretty forgettable and the bar nondescript. Breakfasts have a reasonable buffet on offer. All in all just OK,but centrally located and a good parking deal

First the positives, the hotel is clean and modern with friendly and helpful staff.Unfortunatly I have had several problems with the restaurant service, Firstly I ordered a drink when I sat down which hadn't come by the time my food arrived so I reminded the server and a drink was brought out a few minutes later, all seemed fine until I checked my bill when I got back to my room later on and I had been charged for two drinks.The food was fair and came out pretty quickly the first night but I was sharing the restaurant with only a couple of other guests.On the second night I was shown to a table and received a drink within ten minutes but waited for a further twenty minutes while my order was taken, by this time a group that had following me In were already eating their starters. I waited a further forty minutes for my food to arrive.After the wait the food that came out was a little cooler than I would have liked but as I was short for time I eat it and just put it down to experience.When I had finished my main course and the plate was cleared the server asked if I would like anything else to which I replied I had ordered a desert, another member of staff interjected that the server should just ask for it when returning to the kitchen.After a further twenty five minutes the desert hadn't arrived but the server came over and asked me if I was still waiting, I nodded and she apologised and the desert arrived in ten minutes (cold) .All in all it was not really a pleasant experience and I doubt I will be returning in a hurry.

We stayed at the Jury's while visiting Sheffield to see Andrea Bocelli (who was amazing!). DONT USE THE CAR PARK UNDERNEATH THE HOTEL! The staff don't recommend it and other visitors have had tickets as the max time you can stay there is 16 hours! Once that is sorted ... The staff are great! The bed was a little hard for my liking, but everything else was very good. We had a few drinks in the bar both before and after the concert. And we had breakfast. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet ... But fine. All in all, good value if you don't mind a hard bed.

Stayed 24th sept.Just got back from sheffield and the jurys inn reception big and clean staff very friendly . Rooms good size clean .and beds very comfortable . Bar was excellent and the 2 young lads very friendly and polite . Breakfast was £8.00 and very good great choice.The position is a little from the center but suited us.parking was £5.50 across the road discounted by the hotel ask at reception .overall the stay was very good

I could not find very much to complain about other than it was a bit noisy in the room (213) as the window seemed not to fit very well. The staff were all very efficient and polite, in particular the restaurant team who seemed to go that bit extra to make sure things were OK. I found the food to be excellent and good value. Great location for the town centre and a short walk from the Rail Station.

Staying at this hotel every time when visit Sheffield. Great quality.A lot of parking available around.5 minutes walk from town Centre.Breakfast is traditional and never disappointed. Helpful stuff.

There's not much to say, which is a good thing I guess. Everything just worked well. Check in was quick and room as expected. View from the 8th floor room was good. We were at the back of the hotel so not overlooking the city itself. Shower was hot and powerful and bath incredibly quick to fill. Tea and coffee in room along with iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Ice machine on each floor which was handy. Breakfasts were good. Buffet style with good variety. We ate in the restaurant on our first night (we were two of only three people eating there which might tell you something) because it was convenient. Food was OK but we ate somewhere else the next night. All in all very satisfactory. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

El hotel está cerca del ayuntamiento y catedral es muy cintrico. Esta bien, no es nada ruidoso y el desayuno es decente. Para una visita al centro está muy bien. Recomendable.

Stayed for 3 nights for Tramlines.Check in was ok after sorting out a mix up. Room was nice and bathroom was ok. The hotel is very central for Sheffield centre. Overall a nice stay in a nice hotel

Nice hotel, very central to the town centre and Peace Gardens. Walking distance from the train station. Lovely breakfast 'tip' - if you know you are going to have breakfast book when you check in as you get a discount on the breakfast.

We came here for a Hen night & used 1 of the conference rooms for a special event, the hotel itself is beautiful inside, very clean.Our only problem we could fault was the drink & food prices were rather steep, a few friends ordered chips for £3.95 and got a small bowl with a handful in. Apart from prices there were no other complaints

Recently on a training course with my company. Nice, adequate room. Staff are nice, polite and smartly dressed. Food and drink rather over priced but you really expect that in a city centre hotel. All in all no complaints.

Stayed here as we were going on a night out in Sheffield. Great hotel friendly staff , excellent service. Room tip if you can ask for a room at the back of the hotel - the noise from the front through the night from people on the street was not very good - other than that it was all good!

Had the pleasure of being in the bar, with Charlie and Oliver were working, after a pretty bad experience at a restaurant in Sheffield both were so friendly and made me and my family feel like we wanted to stay in the bar for much longer

I stopped here with friends for a night out in Sheffield rooms decent size for 3 people rooms clean and fresh looking we paid extra for breakfast highly recommended it loads of choice of food we had a few drinks in hotel bar before we went out drinks not too expensive for a hotel bar ... highly recommended this hotel

A great location close to all major attractions with a large car park across the road. The service both at check in and breakfast were first class, as was the cleanliness of my room. I will use this hotel again without doubt.

Everything was ok at this hotel but don't have the Haddock Starter or the sea bass Main if you want to feel satisfied that your had enough to eat as the portions are suitable for a children and not an Adult.

Stayed a couple of weeks ago to visit some friends. Generally a very good hotel with comfy beds and set in a decent location. The hotel had a very relaxed and welcoming appeal and The staff were friendly. Couple of annoying things however, 1. I parked in a different car park to the one that they have a deal with. I wasn't sure if I was in the right one but on check in I was told to basically not worry about it and pay in the morning. This would be fine except it was a pay and display car park i stayed in which could of resulted in me getting a ticket. Appreciate this is mostly my fault but being told to not worry about it meant I nearly paid a hefty price for the error. 2. Breakfast couldn't keep up with demand. It was very busy so il assume this doesn't happen often, but the hot food containers only hold a small amount of food before running out. So if you're in a queue of 10 people like I was, and they only put out 6 fried eggs and 6 hash browns etc at a time, you can see why it took me ages to get the breakfast I wanted. These 2 things stop me giving a perfect score as to what was a very good overall stay. I'll definitely be back though.

The service is hit and miss. A few members of staff are very rude/incompetent (however, the rest are excellent). The beds are uncomfortable. There is a Nightclub opposite. The food is average at best. The actual rooms are in need of an update, it's as if the budget has been spent on the reception, and the rest of the hotel (and the customers) are an afterthought.

Been here for the last four years and we were welcomed by staff who are well presented and polite. Floors are serviced by 3 lifts and stairs, which you need your key card to access. I was on the 3rd floor at the back of the hotel, room 325. The room was clean and to be honest the bathroom was not as clean as last visit, grubby marks on the wall/back of door (the door I wiped with tissue and it came off) so it's obvious it has just been missed. However the shower curtain had red stains on it and the shower head was broken meaning the jet pattern could not be altered. Would be nice to see better quality toilet tissue instead of the "Happy Shopper" quality. This is false economy as guests will use more.The room has tea/coffee sachets, sugar/sweetner. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board, free WiFi.Each room has airconditioning, which cannot be turned down lower than 19 degrees.Our visit had breakfast and dinner included and I could not fault the food, just wish the plates were bigger. One of the evenings there was no food which was suitable (dairy free) so the staff went and asked the chef if he could cook some chicken instead, this was cooked to perfection. Big thumbs up to the staff that evening!!With the hotel being in the city centre it can be very noisy outside around 3am, especially on Friday and Saturday as the nearby clubs empty, even at the rear of the hotel away from the main road. This is something the hotel cannot control but would be nice if it was included in literature about the proximity to these clubs.Checkout was quick and effortless.Overall this is a clean and we'll presented hotel and our stay was pleasant and we will gladly stay again.

Check in easy, room comfortable although couldn't get a soft enough pillow. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with hot and cold options. Location is good for city centre but bit of a hike from the bus station.

Amazing hotel, rooms clean and good size. Beds comfy, bathroom clean. Ice machine outside room broken when we visited but selection of free drinks in room available, take your own hairdryer as the one provided is not very powerful!

Me and my sister stayed here for her birthday at the end of November. We greeted by a lovely lady at the desk (sorry i didn't get her name, She was in her early 20's, brunette and she was Irish!) she was so helpful, giving us some local info and helping us with a few places to visit. When i said it was my sisters birthday, she gave us a complimentary breakfast. My sister was overjoyed!! We walked off to go to our room but as our spirits were now raised we decided to have a quick drink before we went to get ready. When we got to the bar we couldn't see anyone so i wondered in to the eating area. A lovely gent came running over apologising, he was helping the staff in there which we thought was really sweet of him. We ordered two drinks and did a cheers! He asked what we were celebrating and again, upon telling him it was my sisters birthday, he gave her a complimentary sambucca and absolutely made her day!! He chatted to us for a while, and was so lovely. His name was Oliver, i asked! Both these members of staff put us in such a great mood we had one of the best nights out i have ever experienced!! Thank you so much for making my sisters birthday so special :-)
