Great atmosphere with live music in the garden and plenty of people enjoying the day. Bar staff were excellent.

Realmente disfruté del almuerzo aquí hoy. Muy buenos precios para la buena comida. Los crepes son particularmente deliciosos. Un montón de opciones en el menú. Veggie hamburguesa era agradable. El personal es agradable, pero despejaron platos y ollas a mitad de la comida un par de veces, lo que no me gusta cuando estamos en medio de la conversación y la comida. Necesitan esperar hasta que todos los invitados a la mesa hayan terminado sus comidas y bebidas antes de acercarse para llevarse algunas de las cosas. La decoración es muy interesante. The village cafe offer so much, be it breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake. The staff are excellent and friendly, service is first class. Our visits here started as a once a week meeting now our friends meet us here, only today we went to another cafe and they requested we meet next week at the Village Cafe, it’s a place loved by all. Well done to Charlotte and her team, keep up the good work 😊

We stayed at The Hotel Indigo, a 2 minute walk away and popped in for dinner and a few drinks and were pleasantly surprised. First and foremost, the staff are the friendliest I have encountered in a long time, warm, welcoming and so enthusiastic, a refreshing change from many establishments these days. The food was really good, drinks at the bar fabulous and a great atmosphere great. We finished the night with coffee and a wonderful authentic Indian tea. I would highly recommend popping in for food or a beer and a glass of wine. You will not find better service anywhere in the area. An unexpected treat, a lovely evening served by wonderful hosts, please do try it out.

Great bubble waffles, freahly made, fresh fruit, I had bannanas and lots of them! Galeto is really tasty! Also took an oreo cheesecake as I couldn't resist! Friendly and welcoming service, Will definitely be going back for more!! I have ordered on the app for collection too and that is easy and quick to use!

Myself and 4 others were looking forward to having a lovely sunday breakfast at cafe Morso though it turned out to be a disappointing visit which ruined our morning. The place was dirty and with cups lying around from the night before. There was only one person working who was serving and preparing the food which is unacceptable for a place like this in the city centre. I’ve never come across just 1 staff member running a big joint like this before. He wasn’t coping either, we waited ages to be served then another hour for our food to be prepped. When it arrived, we were all shocked as it was served on thin white bread. When we questioned the chap he said they had ran out of muffins. The decent thing to do would have been to communicate this with us before wasting our time and wasting that food as none of us ate it and we left the place in disgust. Still in disbelief that the managers have allowed this to happen. We felt sorry for the staff member who was also sorry as he explained that it was not his fault and that this kept happening where he was being left alone to run this place hence why he had handed in his notice and was leaving in a week or so. Whether the managers are cost-cutting and trying to reduce staff or they just don’t care, this should be communicated to potential customers as it is not fair that they are allowing customers into this place to then be disappointed.

I ordered a Gingerbread Latte, a bacon bap and an Oat and Raisin biscuit for delivery. The delivery was on time and delivered with care. No complaints there. When I opened up my order the Oat and Raisin Biscuit wasn't there. Three items in the order and they couldn't get that right. Wow. When I went online to report this, they refunded my money and said it would take 3-10 business days. Are you taking the P. I used to work at Friargate so used to go to Coffee #1 regularly. It's always been a really slow service, and it's over priced. I wont be using them again - ever. They've had so many chances with me and failed miserably on many occasions.

Visitamos el lunes por la noche para conseguir algo de comer y un par de bebidas. Pedimos una hamburguesa, unos nachos de chile cargados y una lasaña. El tamaño de las porciones era generoso y la presentación fantástica. Estábamos impresionados por la calidad de la comida. Hay una buena selección de bebidas, incluyendo una serie de cervezas y el personal es muy amable y acogedor.

Un lugar muy agradable. La comida ha sido buena cada vez que vamos. A menudo recibimos una pizza y una ensalada y compartimos. El personal es eficiente y amable. Precios un poco altos, pero no tan mal. Pero es dinero en efectivo. Y cierra alrededor de las 5 pm

Popped in here while my son attended an appointment locally. Hoping to work a little and grab a coffee. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The menu looks great, good variety and really reasonably priced. I had a large latte and toast for £3.25 bargain. Coffee was lovely too. Free wi fi meant I could work easily. I’ll be back
