Really nice independent cafe. Lovely atmosphere inside and seating out the front. The sweet cinnamon treat bagel was very tasty and my flat white was crafted really well (I'm pretty fussy when it comes to coffee). If you are looking for great coffee and food this place is definitely worth a visit.

Wanted something to take back, we looked at the sandwiches already made up but it was not problem as they made up our sandwich choice, and the cakes looked yummy.

Had a lovely lunch, great staff and amazing food. Thoroughly recommend. The Penang curry is home made and beautiful. Mint clean too 👍😋

Tapas with a little twist. We love our tapas restaurants but we've not come across one quite like this little gem. Whilst searching online we came across this place. The menu looked interesting with some unsual dishes. They also had a midweek offer of 2 tapas and 1 side for £20. Plus 2 for £14 cocktails. So we thought, lets give it a try and booked a table. The restaurant is located in the town, about a ten minute walk from the hotel we were staying at. On arrival we were shown to our table in the window. Whilst deciding on the menu we ordered a couple of cocktails. We had to kick off with the Bread Bag. Homemade bread served in a bag, which you have to rip open to release the smokey scent of roasted garlic and rosemary. Followed by Brixham scallops served with Spanish beef black pudding. Then grilled padron peppers hung on a tree with a side of allioli. The next dish was Asian brisket croque monsieur. That's not very Spanish is it? Slow cooked beef brisket marinated in an asian inspired sauce, sandwiched and fried in beef dripping with gruyere cheese served with a mushroom and marmalade dipping sauce. OMG.This was absolutely insane. The flavours were incredible. A knockout dish. After that a book was placed in front of us. We had totally forgot we had ordered the Book of meat - alicious. It's literally an anti-pasti book filled with some of the most delicious meats sliced fresh and placed in the pages. As you flick through, theres different delights from Spain,Italy and Devon. Served with homemade bread and oil. We finished with an affogato and coffee. This was a tapas with a difference and a great find. Front of house Ollie was very charming and the chef dished out some exceptional food. We shall certainly return next time we are down this way and would urge anyone to give this small independent the support it deserves.

EXCELLENT COFFEE & BISCUIT WITH THE COFFEE, so nice we stayed for two cups!! Very dog friendly staff made lots of fuss of our dog as did other customers coming in making a fuss of him. TREATS AVAILABLE FOR DOGS TOO which was a lovely thought and deserving of business. BEING NEW TO THE AREA AND HAVING BEEN TURNED AWAY FROM OTHER NOT AS NICE CAFES NOT DOG FRIENDLY it was nice to find a genuine dog friendly cafe. There is a step into the cafe which makes it inaccessible for disabled people and unsure if there is a portable ramp, didnt see a sticker on window saying there is one available? Something that can be addressed and advertised on website by owner which would allow us to come back with other members of our family and Im sure bring in other customers/tourists looking for accessible cafes.

Such a waste of a great location No food available at so time day or night suck a same as we as a group enjoyed sitting outside the place looking at the harbor un fortunately had toleaand search of food knowing our seats would be filled as soon as we left which was exactly what happened so ended up a few doors down paying much more for our drinks making us all unhappy and bewildered why the place couldn’t be bothered to do something to eat lazy I guess

I decided to have breakfast in this restaurant this morning whilst staying locally, but what a mistake & wish now I'd of gone to McDonald's who couldn't of done any worse for a fraction of the price I paid for utter garbage!I was initially welcomed by the server after waiting to be seated by the sign, I ordered the Eggs Benedict & a large americano coffee, I asked for cream but was told they only do milk which was disappointing to hear, then 5mins after making my order a sales rep, (I think he was) who was sitting near me got up firing questions at the man cooking for almost 10mins about supplies & brands stressing me about the quality of my poached eggs, when my food did arrive, it looked ok but when I cut into an egg yolk it was hard, I got the waitress'es attention who asked if I wanted fresh eggs, that's when the attitude started. She came back seconds later obviously after informing the cook & asked me exactly how did I want them cooked as they're already quite running, SERIOUSLY the one I cut into was solid, I asked for runny but when the food finally came back to me, i didn't realize I would be having the same muffin that had now gone stone cold & soggy, the bacon was now I tiny bit of what I previously had but NOT the crispy bit, just a small fatty grissly bit was returned to me, the eggs literally separating by being now undercooked & barely warm with splatters of cold sauce around it, (NOT a hollindaise taste), absolutely disgusting & a complete waste of almost £10, if you can't take constructive criticism & cook food correctly, then DON'T be in business, AND don't be a cheapskate to use the original bits of a returned meal thinking the customer wouldn't notice, disgraceful quality standards & attitude!
